How can I find my WMP files that I ripped?

I ripped the music from a CD and it was confirmed that it was torn.  Now, I put in a blank CD and I can't find the ripped files.  Where are they?  Help, please.   I think that it's WMP 12.

Thank you.

There are a few possibilities... what happens when you put the disc in your computer; He plays there? In addition, in 'computer' (with the disc in the drive) click "lecteur reader of CD, select 'Properties' and take a look at the pie chart to... If it is not lit in blue, then you will have created a disk of data rather than an"Audio"which is usually what you need for the readers of most stand-alone CD. To correct this check the settings in WMP (upper RIGHT corner) as in the picture below... R

    Hi starr456,

This is something tricky, simply because the Starter is not available anywhere to download (it's the OPK only), and it is not available to resettle them in the HP Recovery Manager. After researching this for awhile, it seems to me that your only option to get Starter upward and the execution is to perform a recovery of the HP System. This restores all of the original software, including programs that are not available to resettle them in the Recovery Manager. He is also the 'nuclear option' and will completely erase everything on your computer. You will need to back up all personal files that you do not want to lose.

If you're desperate for Office Starter, you can use this recovery method. But if you're open to exploring other alternatives, you might want to try a freeware productivity suite (like OpenOffice, for example).

Here is a link to the instructions for performing a HP system recovery for Windows 7. If you have a different version of Windows, let me know and I'll post a different link.

    Hello

I'm sorry, but when you did the recovery of the system you have disabled your hard drive of everything, including your files.

You now have a new computer.

You can try this program (it's free) to see if he 'can' find and recover your files. no guarantee:

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

    Can anyone help!

I don't know what is Windows HP, but I'll give you the answer that applies if you hear a version of Vista (and some or most of it except the links and snapshot procedures apply to XP as well).

If it's a Word document, see the following article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316951 that applies to situations exactly like this.  It is not impossible, but it is difficult and the chances of success are not very good - but it's worth a try.

If you have Vista Business, Vista Ultimate or Vista Enterprise, you can be lucky.  They have so-called saves shadow copies, which are deleted or modified files that can be recovered in case changes/deletions made by mistake. http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/Windows-Vista/features/shadow-copy.aspx more information about how to use this feature to: http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/howdoi/?p=145.

If you have Vista Basic or Premium of Vista, shadow copies is not available; However, there is an alternative that is free and the shadow copies feature called Shadow Explorer. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/recover-files-with-shadow-copies-on-any-version-of-windows-vista/.  Although it will not help you this time, it could very well save you in case this happens again.

If it's a Word document and the procedure above does not work, please post in the Forum Word to: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/wordcreate/threads where they can have some alternative suggestions.  If it's another program, please identify the program so I can provide advice or references.

Only you can decide if the data is important enough to take the PC to an expert data recovery to recover files (they will have better programs and hardware to do that none of us do).  Do NOT go to the Geek Squad or one of these centers of store-, they generally don't know what they are doing - it take for expert data recovery.  It will cost you a little and they generally offer no guarantees.  The decision is yours.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!
