  I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite S50-a-10R (in October) and I have a big problem!

  If I try to download something via U-orrent (or any other torrent clinet), or transfer files from the computer train MUCH, freezer, it is really unusable.

  I have Windows 8.1 on it, and open the Task Manager, it says that the average response time is ~ 4S if I download with 300 kb/s (on torrents) or transfer of something, at about 20 MB/s (from one partition to the other) or a Clerkship my laptop HARD drive.

  I checked the disk for bad sectors, and it is clean.

  It all started when I started to download movies (with about 5 MB/s - torrents) and the utorrent froze (he said does not) and soon after, the whole system froze.

  Intel USB 3.0 driver is part of the 8.1 Windows System... This is not supplied by Toshiba.

  Windows 7 contains no such USB 3.0 driver and so you can download driver Intel USB 3.0 page of the Toshiba driver as well as the Intel download site.

  By the way: try to disable the functionality of sleep & Charge and check how the HARD drive would work.
