  Hope you can help.  A member of the family got a computer for Christmas, they got Microsof Office 2007 student and Home edition 60-day trial.  When you start one of the applications he asked 25 digid product key.  Office was preinstalled on the computer therfore in the folder click DAT trial 60 days ago, but the above message appears.  Thoughts or responses would be most appreciated

  Information Internet Service are disabled by default, and it shouldn't be necessary if you are running a Web Site/Server.

  I think that some programs also require a Web interface, in which case IIS must be installed.

  What parts are needed depend on the program in question, and you would probably get

  We have P6 with WS first deployment on a single weblogic domain server. The first WS returns the first instance of database data.

  Then deployed to the WS second tip on a weblogic domain server separated with a different port. Set up the second WS with < WS2_INSTALL_HOME > / bin/dbconfig.sh, creating a new branch a configuration that specifies one second instance of the database. However, this configuration is ignored, and the second web services return data from the database.

  We have a single domain, including notably the following servers:

  P6 / localhost / 0001 / P6 (v8.3), p6ws1 (v8.3)

  p6ws2 / localhost / 0002 / p6ws2 (v8.3)

  Looks like it is in the documentation, Web Services cannot be configured in this way as the other modules. See the following topics:

  BUG 19516437 - Is it POSSIBLE TO hardcode a DEPLOYMENT of SERVICES WEB P6 to an INSTANCE of DATABASE? (ask if this is possible)

  BUG 19579735 - FOR BEING ABLE to hardcode A P6 WEB SERVICES DEPLOYMENT to A DATABASE INSTANCE (corresponding improvement because it can be done).

  The problem has been resolved by the following:

  1 create the WebLogic domain.

  2 P6 and p6ws deployed on managed servers.

  3 configuration P6 uses the second instance of database and P6 has not begun.

  4 result: the p6ws (from additional domain WebLogic) returns data for the second instance of the database.

• [ESXi vs VMWareServer] How to configure my Apache and IIS?

  Purpose: I have to run [PHP + Apache + MySQL on Apache] and [ASP + SQL Server through IIS] on the same machine.

  Solution 1: PHP + Apache + MySQL on Windows.

  Solution 2: Linux (Apache + PHP + MySQL) in VMWare Server on Windows.

  Solution 2 b: Linux (Apache + PHP) in VMWare Server on Windows. MySQL is installed on Windows and is accessible by a Linux virtual machine via the local network.

  Solution 3: Windows in VMWare Server on Linux.

  Solution 4: Linux and Windows on ESXi.

  For 1: I do not take this solution, because non-native Linux environment gives poor performance of PHP and no good url rewrite support.

  So, I need to decide between solution 2, 3 and 4.

  I understand 4) is the best solution in terms of performance. But I'm new to VMWare. I need easy management. I do not know if something would have mysteryously wrong on my ESXi machine one day.

  So my question boils down to [Performance gained by ESXi] VS. [Acquired by VMWare Server Management].

  I don't know how much performance I could win using ESXi and harder it will be to use the production environment.

  Anyone with experience of the real world in it? Thank you!

  Development of VMware Server is dead, to the best of my knowledge, no other patches or versions are coming.

  I would never start a deployment on a software platform that is the end of life.

  Better performance on esxi is significantly fairer under heavy load, hard equity of this guarantee of resource planning.

  Esxi management is like managing an embedded linux or cisco box, it has qualities unixy but cautioned a number of unique and implemented controls.

  If you're worred about the overhead of learning and that you are familiar and comfortable with linux in general management, you can also consider esx.

  ESX has more commands that feel like rhel 5.2, it is fewer machines than esxi and feels more like a box of special rhel.

  When I started with esxi 3.5 only the hardest part was finding how to download a virtual machine.

  Everything else was really easy and feasible through the vsphere client.

  Using vmware server will work, but this isn't the best solution in terms of performance or future bug fixes.

  To obtain external access to comments (access the guest from the host), you must configure the IP static within the guest (Linux) as below and restart the network (service network restart)

  eth0 is a dynamic IP (DHCP) to get wireless internet access

  d. Once completed, locate and choose the option allow a program (an application) or feature through Windows Firewall in the left column of the Windows Firewall window.

  e. Locate and click the change settings button in the allowed programs window.

  f. uncheck the programs or the items in the list, you have finished to access internet.

  g. click on OK.

  When you use the Application JHeadstart Editor, I chose "table-form" style of layout for the field.

  Issue. When the field editing either way, by clicking on the edit button, which will be the user to the form, is it possible to have the form opens in a modal window?  If Yes, where and how configure this option?

  Summary: currently, the flow is as follows: field displays in a table.  The user clicks on the button Edit and screen refreshes the field in a form.  What I want is to have the form to be displayed as a modal window with the table in the background.

  I think you could do this with 2 different versions of the JHS group.  A configured as 'table' and set up the other as a 'form '.  Then, add a groupLink item in the table to open the form in a modal popup.  (you might even be able to link the group to itself, but then you will need to do some adaptations to prevent it to generate the default table-form link)
