HP 110-3098nr with HP Officejet 6310xi all-in-one

I'm running Windows 7 on a HP Mini 110 - 3098nr and I can't read my Officejet 6310xi wireless.  Any suggestions?  I've tried the UN - and reinstalling the software, downloading new drivers, etc.  Any help is appreciated!

You cannot use the function wireless with the version of Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 operating system.  You can only connect to the printer using a USB connection.  According to the HP support site, the software package and the driver that is available will not install on the version of the operating system startup.  You will only be able to use the InOS driver for the printer.  Sorry for the confusion.

Have you removed all paper from the input tray and shined a flashlight upwards in the status bar to ensure there is nothing caught in the rollers?  Remove the duplexer/rear access door and make sure that there is nothing in the rollers at the back.

I would also check the printer.  The top and look down inside the right-hand side of the printer (right side of the carriage house).  Do you not see any paper into a ball in this section?

There is also a document with steps to help fix a carriage jam in an Officejet 6310xi.  The document can be found here.  Let me know how it goes.

  • Impossible to Document with HP Officejet 6310 all-in-One scanner

    Dear all,

I have a HP 6310 of all-in-one desktop. My scanner was working fine until I changed my PC running on Windows & Pro. I tried various solutions proposed by the community and the last test has been with HP Print & Scan Doctor 4.3. Follow the instructions on the screen. Also I could hear the ROAR scanner far when the message to display "HP Scanning" window showing on the monitor. The program checked all checks i.e. Device Manager, Scan Driver Check, device status, window (WIA), solution, registry, Scan Flow Manager & Digital Image Monitor HP Center. Only two controls that had yellow Triangles were HP Scanner Twain and Front Panel Test. The HP Twain Scan error message was ' the twain component is used by another process even after a reboot. Remove the software by clicking 'uninstall '. Reinstall the software with the product CD or by downloading the latest full features software of HP customer service (recommended). Note: You should always be able to scan from applications such as Microsoft Paint. If this will meet your scanning needs, and then click 'Skip '.

I am not that technica l and would really all members to guide me through the process in order to get scanner work. When I go through the movement of the scanning of a document via the HP Solution Center, I go for the selection process the file type I want the document to be registered as (somewhere e.g. office) but get an error message. I would appreciate help to resolve this matter without spending money to call the telephone helplines HP as currently unemployed. Thanking you in advance.

  • OfficeJet 5740: Problem of margin envelope C6 with HP OfficeJet 5740 all-in-one printer

Envelopes (and Yes, I know how to load) print perfectly well, except that the left part of the return address is cut off. In order to get the full print return address, it is necessary to define a very wide margin that moves the return address too close to the center of the envelope.

In 2014, a user of Windows 7 has had exactly the same problem, and solved by offering it use another personal HP printer driver (what they delivered) for his printer. You can read how the issue has been resolved here. You have any fix available for people using Mac OS? I really don't understand why it is possible to print close to the border of the page with the largest paper (A4), covder the entire area a photo 4 x 6, but require a huge margin between the left side of the envelope and the return address.

Thanks in advance for your help. I really like this printer, but if she is not able to perform a routine task such as printing an envelope normal search, it reallty is a showstopper for me. It must just be a bug in the driver, and it needs to be fixed!

Welcome to the HP Forums @dkiechle!

I'd love to help you print on envelopes without having to change the margins to a point as it is too close to the center of the envelope return address. Since you mentioned the pilot, let's start there.

Please follow the instructions below to check which driver you are using and change:

    1. Click on the Apple and then click on System Preferences.
    2. In the hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/scanning dialog box opens.
    3. Click on your printer if it is selected and find beside 'type' to see which driver is used.
    4. If you see AirPrint, remove the printer, then click on the small symbol to add the printer back again.
    5. Choose your printer and click on the drop down next to the 'use '. You will see the option to choose your printer in this "use" drop down. The image below is a screenshot of an Officejet printer, but help to display my description.

If you see the HP printer that is already in use and not AirPrint, deleting the printer and add it again using the AirPrint driver. This will help isolate the driver as the first cause one way or other part.

If this resolves the issue, please click Accept as Solution below; If not, let me know and I will do everything I can to help.

Thanks, I look forward to hearing back on your part.

  • problems of queue printer with HP officejet 5510 all-in-one

I recently updated from Windows XP to Windows 8.  When I try to print, the print jobs get stuck in the queue. I try to cancel or remove them, & they won't. He can say it's "impression". I discovered that if I restart my computer, it will display everything that has been hung up. I hate to take the restart. Computer technology which upgraded me said that my printer is compatible with Windows 8, but also many other problems.  Right now, I just want to take care of the issue of the spooler.

I also have Office 2010 starter who pulls up with my documents.

Hi, take a look at this link for help from HP.

  • Problem scanning with HP Officejet 5610 all in one

I have problems with the scanning of documents.

Computer is Mac OSx Version 10.8.5 operting.

I use to be able to analyze only the documents that have been placed on the glass and I would press the button "scan" on the printer and the document would scan to my counter top.  I could not scan several pages by feeding in the upper part of the printer.  It was with my old Mac operating system.

Recently, I had the SW on my MAC update to OSx.  Now I can go into the settings of the printer and scan several pages unless I have a document in the feeder at top of the page.  But I can not put a single item on the glass, then press scan.  I get the error message is 'no scan options.  Refer to the documentation for the device to trobuleshoot.  Press ok. »

    Any help?

    Hi pbeachiii,

I'm sorry to tell you that HP does not provide driver support of technologies for analysis of your product on the Mavericks.  This solution does not provide support for the scan on the printer button.

You can ensure the best experience with your product by accepting the Apple software updates so that you have the latest available print and scan drivers.

Use the Image Capture or preview applications to begin analysis of your Mac.  With one of these applications, you should have the ability to scan from either the glass of the scanner or the document feeder.  You just need to specify the source for analysis as a parameter in the scanning software.

    Hope this helps,

  • OfficeJet 7310 all-in-One: the device is not complete - Officejet 7310

Initially, a 10 on my network windows desktop could no longer communicate with my Officejet 7310 all-in-one ethernet connection.  The Office recognizes the 7310 as a printer, but not as an all-in-one.  I tried to reinstall the software using the prescribed protocols, without success. I decided to ignore the problem.  The Office could still use the 7310 as a printer, but not as an all-in-one. In addition, my two laptops could always use the all-in-one features.

Today, no reason apparent, the all-in-one feature has stopped working on my windows of 10 laptops.  When I tried to scan a document, I received a message that says: "device to complete installation. Attach the usb cable or reinstall the software. "I am more able to reinstall the all-in-one software.  Just like with my office, my laptop can use the all-in-one printing function, but cannot use the functions of HP Solutions Center.

I used the protocols recommended - uninstall the 7310, running windows disk cleanup, run ccleaner registery cleaner, closing all devices on the network except the 7310 and a laptop.  Nothing works, despite several attempts on various computers.  Is no longer, I can install the software of HP Solutions Center on any of my windows 10, 64-bit, PCs - wired or wireless.  The 7310 is essentially a 'brick', because it no longer works as an all-in-one.

What can I do to fix this? Help.

    Hey @fatz2fly,

I don't think that you have missed something, but I recommend you uninstall a more holistic approach at this stage. I know that this appears at first sight very complicated, but I burst in instructions step by step to make it easy to follow

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type % temp %

      • Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
    2. Delete the printer devices and printers and the driver from the properties of the server. See the instructions below before proceeding to step 3.
    3. Download the software and choose Save as, save to desktop >AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141.exe
      • After downloading software and extracts, reopen the temp folder, use the instructions in step 1.
      • Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)
      • Open the Util folder
      • The CCC folder
      • If you have a computer HP run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have acomputer no HP run the L4uninstall.exe
    4. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
    5. Download and run CCleaner - How to use CCleaner.

Installing software on the computer with a registry key, its place would be like trying to paint a wall with a hole in it, you need to patch the hole first. Repair the registry, and then install the software. Registry cleaners can be useful tools to solve certain types of problems in the registry, as those that are created when a program does not properly uninstall or a malware infection is not cleaned properly.

This suggestion is not a document of HP, it is my own opinion. My preference is CCleaner, I use it on my computers. If you have a registry cleaner already, or that you prefer, you can use it.

  • Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
    • Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run
    • In the Open box, type msiexec /Unregister, and then click OK.
    • Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run
    • In the Open box, type msiexec/regserver, and then click OK
  • * Note: there is a space between the c and the /.

If you do not at this stage, use this link to perform another way. Restart Windows install

    1. Run the system Accessories\ tool disk cleanup <> How to delete files using disk cleanup
    2. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
    3. Restart the computer
    4. Download and run the HP printer install wizard for Windows
    5. The HP printer for window installation wizard was created to help Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 users download and install the most recent and most appropriate HP software solution for their HP printer.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance. Thank you!

I just bought an Envy700-500Z. Very happy. But I was printing on a laptop Toshiba with a HP Officejet J4580 all-in-one printer. My question is can I use officejet j4580 on Envy with hpeprint?

    @Psst-007

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

The OfficeJet 4580 isn't an ePrint printer; You can use the HP ePrint Mobile App to print from your mobile to this printer when you are connected to the same local network:

HP printers connected to the Web and cloud Services supported for HP printers

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

To access the full range of functions ePrint, you need an ePrint printer.
