HP 15-d035dx W8.1 of W7 Downgrade - Driver install failures (System requirements has not met)

Users/HP, Hello fellow forum members

I just bought a new laptop from HP 15-d035dx like a beam from BestBuy. Preinstalled with OS Windows8.1 (my first time using it) and I immediately rejected and decided to install my copy of Windows 7 Pro. I took all necessary steps in the successful installation of Windows 7. Disable secure boot and allowing the traditional way. I cleaned my scores by own Diskpart. I got all the drivers I need for Windows 7 saved on a CD, knowing that my readers USB and WiFI don't work. I've only been able to install the drivers for the sound, mouse, and the internet. All else fails, then I went into the BIOS and I have very few options to tinker with and I noticed something. It indicates default OS is Win8.1 and my heart dropped. This means that everything I do is for absolutely nothing. But I don't take no for an answer. There must be a way to replace this question and get Windows 7 works perfectly without any problems.

Hello:

Unfortunately, there is virtually no W7 drivers for this model.

Support page on the HP as for usb 3.0 are not good.

I contact HP technical support and report the problem to them.

I tried to help a few people find the drivers without result - watch others of the Lim for laptop and everything - including Intel.

Even the drivers I found on some of their sites are bad.

When you remove the drivers and review the installation information files and compare the ID's hardware supported by the driver, none of them matches the material ID's for your model devices.

Maybe one day they will be after the correct drivers, but for now, you're dead in the water on W7.

  • Satellite A210, XP downgrade and the failure of the Ethernet

I have a laptop Toshiba A210 8 months old and recently downgraded from Vista to XP. Then, I found that although I could connect to my wireless LAN I continually a "cable disconnected" error message when I tried an Ethernet connection. This topic has worked well for Vista.

I have a Realtek 8139 network card. I've updated the Toshiba BIOS and all drivers card NETWORK (Toshiba and Microsoft). I can connect to the local network at the shop I bought this computer to, but not at home, or the shop where I buy my desktops, and service had installed XP downgrade. I tried all the connections on my home LAN, which otherwise works fine for my desktop PC, my PS3 and my XBox 360. I have a Netgear router.

Suggestions as to what the problem might be, or even better a solution?

    Doug

    > I can connect on the local network to the shop I bought this computer to, but not at home

You mean that your laptop can be successfully connected to LAN in the shop, but not at home
Well, to me this looks like a problem of compatibility in connection with your router.

To be honest, I also installed Win XP on my A210 but the LAN works without problems WLan and LAN-> no problem.

Maybe you need to update the firmware on routers and but in addition, I recommend that you check for updates to Windows XP and update the LAN driver too

  • Help! How to "downgrade" this update? This version is not supported by a computer program that I use for work. Thank you!

Is there a way to uninstall the update of Firefox? I already had a problem with this program because it was not compatible with the latest version of IE.

    Hey jpgaprilfool,

There are many benefits to the latest version of Firefox. Out of curiosity, what program is not compatible with the new Firefox? You should consider your comments for developers so that they can continue to improve the product.

If you want to roll back to a previous version of Firefox, just take a glance section of the Knowledge Base install an older version of Firefox.

    Hope this helps!

  • After downgrading from Vista Satellite L30-101 does not read DVD

    Hey,.

Like many people, I didn't like Vista and so returned to the use of Windows XP.

In doing so, I lost a lot of things like the ability to watch DVDs and sound, most of these problems fixed so easily by downloading the drivers from this site.

However, even after the DVD driver download I can't read DVDs yet.
When you try to play through Windows media player I get say error message that I did not have a MPEG-2 decoder, in the section web site help, it suggests where to get one, but you have to play for each other.
After having one in the first place, I don't think I should buy a new one.

If anyone has a solution it would be greatly appretiated if they could let me know.

    Thank you

    PS I have a Satellite L30-101

I think you have a codec problem, but I'm not sure. Maybe you should install the latest version of Media Player and codec Xvid, DivX and AC3. These are free (google it!). Or you can try alternative software, such as WinDVD or PowerDVD, you can try the demo versions.

  • HP 15-p214np: my HP after downgrade windows 8.1 to 7 does not recognize the usb controllers

Hello I recently dongraded my computer hp laptop 15-p214np for windows 8.1 7 and every time I try to plug in a usb flash drive or other usb device, nothing happening, no autoplay, nothing, simply because I didn't install the driver and the driver only I find for my laptop model is intended for 8.1 or windows 10.
I've looked everywhere but I can not simply to find the driver for windows 7 and I would please help here...

    Thanks for your time,

    Nuno Cunha

    Hello:

Yes, you probably have to install the driver of the usb3.

First, I recommend that you install the Intel chipset installation utility and restart if you have not already done so.

The second listed file is the auto install file.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/download/20775/Intel-chipset-device-software-INF-Update-utility-

Then you need this driver for USB3 ports to work.  Download, unzip and run the setup.exe file.

    Hello.

Can you please explane me measures for decommissioning or install windows 7 in my laptop HP 15-r111ns?

    Thank you.

Windows 7 64 bit drivers are actually posted on this site:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=7415749&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&lang=en&cc=us

You will have to buy a copy of Windows 7 with a key Code. You will need to go into the BIOS and disable secure boot and enable legacy start.

After back if this does not make sense.

  • Downgraded to XP: now cannot read DVDs (not installed dvd decoder) for dv2000 CTO

I just installed a new hard drive and Windows XP Professional 64-bit. My computer is a laptop Pavillion dv2000 CTO. Product # is RU769UA. After installing the new OS (it was originally installed with vista home), I found that my sound does not work. I tried to install all or most of the drivers for my model, some who have been for vista has failed. AFAIK, the drivers that worked was installing (sound)... but I'm not entirely sure. I am empty and could really use some help with this. It's my last problem with this computer. >.

Edit: And I just realized that I can't play DVDs without having this error message - "Windows media player cannot play this DVD because no compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer.

    Thanks its working now!

But I still have problems with DVD playback... I am out of the dvd decoder and can not find the download for just a dvd decoder. I downloaded a few media players but all still not allow me to read the actual DVD disc. I've already spent too much money on this computer and I really can't afford to buy any additional software. Is it possible for me to find the decoder correct drivers/dvd for free?

  • XPS 8700 downgraded to Windows 7 - USB 3.0 Driver Install questions

    Hi all

I got some 8700 XPS machines to Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and everything works fine except that USB 3.0 drivers will not be installed.

Listed under the drivers list is: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/driverdetails?driverid=1TH4K

However, when I try to install it, it gives me an error before it even loads:

"This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for the installation of this software."

I know for a fact that this computer is equipped with her because I was playing with him on Windows 8 before decommissioning. All ports are working very well, but they are not only recognized as 3.0. I even tried to do it by extracting the files manually and update (universal serial (USB) Bus controller) Device Manager but it tells me that it cannot find the driver for it.

Thank you for reading and I hope someone can help me understand something.

Okay I found the reason why. Pilots who gave the site of dell has been for the family chipsets Intel® 7 series/C216. What I had was the 8 series.

Get it from here and it works now:

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.Intel.com/22824/Eng/Intel%28R%29_USB_3.0_eXtensible_Host_Controller_Driver.zip&lang=eng&DwnldID=22824&ProductID=3467

Dell support thank you do not want to support me just because I bought a copy of Windows 7 Pro retail! : thumbsup:

You can check the problems caused by the recent updates of Flash and try these:

    • disable a possible extension of the Record Plugin RealPlayer browser for Firefox and RealPlayer update
    • disable the safe_mode in Flash 11.3 and later versions
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
    • downgrade from 11.2 Flash or 10.3

I use windows live mail 2011.  recently upgraded to windows 10 and hated for various reasons.  my existing email went through fine.  I decided after a week of return to windows 7.  Once completed the "downgrade", all existing emails in all folders (some more than 10 years) had disappeared.  the email function still worked, but all previous emails had disappeared.  Microsoft has been absolutely no help.  any ideas.  is it possible that they are still on my hard drive and recoverable by the appropriate technician?

I made a backup external drive but a system restore could not restore the lost emails.

-> System restore is designed to restore the Windows system files. It is not intended as a safeguard for the user files mechanism. People who have lucky and know how it's done (e.g. you) can sometimes retrieve files of the user a system restore. However, you cannot rely on it.

I remember that I was able to reformat until I sent offshore to get the hard drive and the radiator replaced by hp year last April. Now I can't get to... that this has to do with anything? someone please help...

I also tried without the bios downgrade F.19 REV: a. which do not help either.

    It seems that the motherboard may have been changed and the information system (tattoo) has not been updated to match that of your computer. While I can't fix this for you, I can suggest some possible solutions and I work to spare;

    (1) you can contact HP Customer Support and ask that they correct the problem.

    (2) attempt to control that recovery discs for the model of the motherboard is currently labeled as.

    (3) If you can still read the Windows product key of 25 characters on the Microsoft COA affixed on the computer, you can install Windows 7 using this key. Please see "how to install Windows 7 without the disc" to get instructions on how to download Windows 7 SP1, create the installation media and install Windows 7 SP1 using the 25-digit key from the COA Microsoft on your computer.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
