HP Compaq Touch Screen L2105 becomes inadmissible

Have had 4 HP Compaq Touch Screen (TS) L2105tm 21.5 "monitors (Rev). ATT112 July 2010) running

on Win 7 Home Premium 32 - bit OS on HP Probook 4525 s business and 4530 s, with

all the updated drivers for monitors and the display drivers for laptops.

All 4 units returned; 3 shipped as identical L2105tm, but with Rev ATT113 September 2011 models

but all the 3 Touch Screen (TS) became unresponsive and the only removal/insertion of USB

Plug the problem temporarily relieved, but re - occur, unacceptable in our

the store environment.

4th TS was shipped as a 'HP Compaq L2206"which has worked flawlessly, the attempts BU

For more L2206s delivered without success, as Supporf of HP (magnitude within two supervisors,

in China and India), said that "the reason why you have a L2206 L2105 wasn't".

available at that time for replacement.

Spent 2 hours on the phone with same scenerio "we cannot ship an another Touch Screen L2206"

even if all the TS under warranty until 2014/2015.

This is getting extremely frustrating; any advice how it escalate higher?

Thank you

Is that what you found solutions to all, re: touchscreen L2105 becomes inadmissible?

We were all finally back to our L2105s and after a year and a half, and many calls to

HP support (estimated 7 Tech), we have finally the newest L2206 touch screens, with

virtually no problems. It seems that there is a flaw in the L2105 gel, which (typical)

HP does not wan to admit?

This is how my screen looks like

Well, it can be difficult to tell exactly how damage happens on the screen.  But there is no need to be something as obvious as a fall. Sometimes, it will put pressure on the screen - stacking heavy objects on top of the laptop or by closing the form while there is a pen on the keyboard are things that can damage the screen. The problem might not appear immediately - it can take some time for the liquid flow through small cracks in the inner layer of the screen.

  • Separate the touch screen and mouse entries?

The concept was to allow me to run the procedure step by step videos, scan emails and follow the tides on the secondary touch screen while playing my games on the main screen. What I see is that the touch input screen seems to be married to the coordinates of the main screen.

Is there a way to allow multiple entries in Win7? A mouse and a touch screen running on two screens simultaneously and independently?

    Thanks in advance :) JKLauderdale

Good so I tried this out.  If you touch the screen of the Surface to scroll through everything that is open about it, he doesn't move the cursor of the mouse at all.  The arrow of the mouse pointer disappears from view, but as soon as you touch the mouse again, it's still there at the original location on the touchscreen (no) external.

But touch the other program moves the focus (the other program you touched becomes 'active' program), then to continue typing my response here for example, I had to click once again.

I'm having the same problem. The 'funny', it's that I have used the last two betas public iOs 10 and did not notice the problem, it seems to have started with the 10.0.1 release official. I tried version 10.1 beta, but the problem persists. Yesterday I went back to iOs 9.3.5, and the problem did not go so far.

  • Touch screen on the iPhone issues 5 after SW upgrade 9.3.2

    Hello

I have an iPhone 5 that I bought just two years ago. The phone worked perfectly despite the fully loaded with applications, images and music. About two weeks ago, I upgraded the software to 9.3.2. Just after that, the touch screen started to work intermittently. When I managed to unlock, it will take seconds of use of the phone before that the touch screen no longer works again. I have to press the button several times until the touch screen comes back to life (only for a short period of time). It's totally unbearable. I can't yet answer phone
    calls.

I contacted the technical support and all they got me to trying: restart the phone, restore it via iTunes for a backup, give it a new phone... and the problem is always the same. I've updated then 9.3.3 and same thing. I was informed by the technical support that this could be due to a problem with my hardware only made visible by a heavier operating system. Well, it's just not possible. It is not possible that my phone with applications 0 is unable to deal just with the operating system while running smoothly with the phone completely full before the upgrade.

Someone faced the same question? If so, did you solve it? Thank you

    He Jeinser,
