I have a DesignJet 350 c E/A0 which works fine with normal paper roll, 24 "and 36". I wanted to do some 16 "x 20" poster size photographs and got a roll of 24 "x 100' weight photo paper. I configured the printer as roll 24 "food and paper lying thick (all the other choices were glossy photo paper). He simply will not accept paper, what I am doing wrong?

This seems to be a commercial product. For the best chance of finding a solution, I would post in the HP Business Support forum!

  • HP Designjet 500 more: DRIVER FOR HP Designjet 500 FILE more

    Hello

HOW to GET Designjet 500 more DRIVER FOR Windows 10 Enterprise 64 - bit OS

Windows 10 is not released until July 29, pilots and what products will be supported probably won't be out until close.  The HP page here says "compatibility tool soon, come back in the end of July."

That said, I use the old driver Windows XP x 64 on my decades old Designjet 650 c in Windows 10 preview.  I think Windows 7 or 8/8.1 drivers work in Windows 10 for the Designjet 500 if there is not drivers provided.  At this point there are sixteen variations of HP Designjet 500 models available through Windows Update, including variants of the 24 "and 42" models, standards, and only, HP and Microsoft provided drivers PS mono models and color and HPGL2 drivers.

Thanks Bob.  I followed the instructions to the T on my Vista machine.  When I got to step 7 and click 'OK', the following message appeared: the folder that you specified contains a compatible software driver for your device.  If the folder contains a driver, make sure that it is designed to work with Windows for x 64 systems.

The only thing I can think is that the driver is not for a x 64 system.

Oops - that's a critical piece of information missing there, whether you use a x 64 system.  You will need the x 64 version of the driver, which I have never found.

Edit - I don't know how I missed this one, it is and should install on your x 64 system.  Download the driver here. Drivers installed properly on my Windows 7 x 64 system.

  • I am looking for HP DesignJet 755 CM driver for Windows 7.

    Original title: device problem

I'm looking for a driver or a patch for HP DesignJet 755 CM for Windows 7 Home Premium

    Hello

HP DesignJet 755 CM may not be compatible with Windows 7.  It is not listed in the compatibility Web site. Take a look. Click here.

HP DesignJet 755 CM seems to be compatible with Mac operating systems. Click here to check.

However, I have read that HP DesignJet 755 CM was compatible with Windows XP and so would you have download and install XP drivers and run it in compatibility mode of Windows.

My Chartplotter goes all the Service Mode, we test still fails when loading the roll paper. It goes through all the usual steps to advance the paper, etc. Then feeding roller reverse and spit the paper. The LEDs indicate then 1259 bit that I can't find that anywhere as error code in the maintenance manual.

If there roll of paper in place and I press Form Feed the roll of media turns backward and keeps spinning until I get the book far enough to clear the media sensor.

    Clues?

I'm not working on one of these years. One thing, you may want to check is stick something in the cover open button so you can see the action of the transport as it moves to measure paper. You should see a Flash of red light down first on the left side, then transportation should move to the right side with the red light on until it reaches the edge of the paper and then stops. What this. Sometimes the receiver part of the blockage led table with ink so he does not see the return of red light that it touches the edge and see the black tree that reflects the light from the back.

  • Hard drive or a software failure

    Hello
    Acer Aspire laptop
    Vista operating system
    350 GB drive partitioned.

My sister's laptop wouldn't restart. He kept coming up with the windows repair that does not work then. Could not even start in safe mode. Tried all sorts of things after advice from the forums, but nothing.
We saved its files through a USB Sata/ID, but there were a few files which just could not be found, mainly recent within the last 6 months. Because it was still under warranty and we could take it back to the shop, we knew that they don't care collect data so we took it to a guy recovery specialist, but he could not recover the missing girls either with all equipment specialist said that the hard drive has a large number of errors and that is probably the problem.

We then brought back to the store where it was purchased and they sent to Acer of difficulty. 2 weeks later, when she returned, she went to pick it up and they said the hard drive was fine. It was a software problem. Acer sorted, updated the BIOS and reisntalled Vista and it's like back to factory State

Is this possible? that a machine cannot restart and at the same time, the files can disappear just to a hard drive and this is due to a software problem? Expert eventhough found flaws in the disc? We are really worried that it will happen again.

Another question is would they have reformatted the hard drive? Because I had a glance, and although the C drive seems to be back because it was first, the D drive and has always had its files it contains. I thought that if you reformat a drive he did the same he things he is partitioned.

Thank you for any advice on that?
    J

    Hello

Since recovery guy is in business to make money doing collections that's probably a good
bet he knows what he's talking about.

What probably happened is Acer did replace the drive and it was just not documented correctly
which is very typical of the industry as an Acer together and not only.

However, it would be very careful to keep good backups of data just in case they have not really
    replace the drive.

    I hope this helps.

  • The SSD and RAM upgrade

I have the 13-inch Retina Display early 2015 model. It contains 128 GB SSD and 8 GB of RAM.

I wanted to update both of them. Is this possible? I agree with HARD drive even if that is supported. 128 GB is not enough for me actually.

    Help, please.

Without the SSD and RAM are both not upgradable.

One option is to sell your computer and use the money to buy a new one with the features you need.

There are two options to add an HD card to your card HD slot. Both options will be flush with the case.

  • decommissioning of the windows 8.1 for windows 8

    I have a HP Pavilion laptop 15-E016TX (3rd Gen Ci5 / 4 GB/1 TB / Win8 / graphic 2 GB) who came with 64-bit windows 8 unique language. It came with a single 906 GB C drive and a recovery drive D 26 GB. I partitioned manually following F and G 350 GB drives each.

I put my computer to download available updates and install them automatically and so he uploaded same windows 8.1 when the system is idle and it don't did me not an option to cancel the installation... She appeared with a message saying that your system will restart in 15 minutes to install windows 8.1

After the update the system became shit. It restarts again and again the desktop screen. When I right click on the desktop I can not access the graphics property option or set the option switchable property etc, my other apps are having hung or it cannot be opened.

I have not copied the recovery discs or usb media player. I created not too much of any sort of back upward.

    1. what should I do to recover my old windows 8 (how downgrade windows 8.1 for windows 8)

    2. What is the reset options and recovery, these options resets my pc to the way it was when I brought.

    3. If I downgrade my system all my files stored in the F and G drives fade too and that it will again be one of 906 GB C drive

    YSRK wrote:

Can you please tell me how much (GB) of data each player will be divided into. No, I can't, because each book is different. This is done by the program of recovery.

Can I still shrink the hard drive in a few scores more. Is not a good idea if you want to be able to use the F11 recovery feature in the future.

  • DesignJet 200 C3180A: Lost printer driver-DesignJet 200

I seem to have lost the driver for my DesignJet 200 C3180A antique during the upgrade of Windows 10. It worked two months ago (on Windows 7), and the only change I made to the computer - I think - is the upgrade. Now when I go on the list of printers it just isn't there. I tried to search the Internet but nothing seems available after Vista. I'm at a loss as to how I had it works on Win 7 now! Any ideas where a Windows 10 driver is not found?

I connected via a parallel adapter / USB and the port was virtual USB001 (or was it 002?) and he has worked in the past connected like that.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

  • DeisgnJet HP 750 c more: try to find the driver for HP DesignJet 750 c Plus - I have no disc

I recently inherited a HP DesignJet 750 c more.  Its still in great condition and I think that works.  I bought a new cable for it this week and foolishly taken I'd be able to download a driver for it on the HP website.  Due to the age of the machine, it seems to be more supported.  Help someone!  I need a driver for this product download or it is completely useless!   And it's that it was not clear, I don't have the original CD.  Help!

HP has really screwed the instructions on this one. You must search a directory 'win - x 64-hpgl2-drv' directory will be without quotes and on mine, it was located in the downloads directory. This directory will be inf file you need.

  • HP Designjet 500 42: Old problem of driver update

    Hello

I have HP Designjet 500 printer 42 in. And I can't update the old drivers. I downloaded new drivers drivers

Installed new drivers and the printer connected to the computer. Installed printer itself. Driver version but check it shows in 6.08 (preferably printer-> subject) window.

I deleted all drivers using pnputil.exe d Oem # .inf and printui/s/T2 orders. All the drivers of HP has been removed from

    C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository

    and

    C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3

Installed new drivers (8.10) and pluged in the printer. Printer has been installed but with drivers 6.08. So I went to the "print management" as an administrator. Pressed on HP Designjet 500 42 by HP printer 'Manage sharing'-> "Advansed"-> "New driver"-> 'Disc' and in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository I chose "dsgj510.inf_amd64_* *" folder and the dsgj510.inf file here. But could not find "HP Designjet 500 printer 42 in.". Here only:

    HP Designjet 500 42 + HPGL2 card; HP Designjet 500 plus 42; HP Designjet 500ps plus 42; HP Designjet 500PS42 + HPGL2 card; HP Designjet 510 42 inch printer and HP Designjet 510ps 42-inch printer.

I tried to use HP Designjet 500 42 + HPGL2 card HP Designjet 500 plus 42 drivers. But printer would give an error message and do not print.

With the help of the 6.08 driver version I can print from some software, but I need to print from AutoCAD. And AutoCAD gives me the error message "no: cannot use this configuration of tracer for one of the following reasons: the driver is not found, cannot find the device or the driver has a problem." No device has been substituted. "And I can't choose the HP designjet 500 printer in AutoCAD.

It is a shared printer and other computers on the network have 8.10 drivers and can print from AutoCAD. Single computer, the printer is pluged cannot print because it driver 6.08.

    I found the problem.

On the page under 10 64-bit windows this is only "HP Designjet 500 and 510 HP-GL/2 and HP RTL driver 64 bit" 8.10 drivers. And this driver is not HP Designjet 500 printer 42-inch drivers. But under 64-bit windows 8, here's two pilots. "Driver HP DesignJet 500 PCL3GUI 64-bit" 8.10 drivers and same as above. This file have drivers for HP Designjet 500 printer 42 inches and runs under windows 10.

If HP support lazy to put all work them drivers under windows 10 for HP Designjet 500 printer.

  • Designjet 5500: HP Designjet 5500 - failed hard drive?

My next plotter Designjet 5500 has the error message: "failed to start.  Error: 1f50007.  Hard drive failure. "I took out the hard drive.  Then I took a good hard drive on another plotter Designjet 5500 I have here (he has other issues, but the hard drive is in good health) and installed it in the abacus of 1st.  He repeats the same error message (i.e., "failed to start.  Error: 1f50007.  Hard drive failure. "I took that hard drive back out and put back in 2nd tracer and it always starts very well.

For me, this means that probably the hard drive is not really the problem with my 1 tracer because I put a hard drive perfectly well in and he said that the hard drive has failed.  It seems that something has no who is now saying the plotter that there a defective hard drive when it's not the real problem.  Someone else this experience?  Pointers for me on what to look for or what would be my next step in troubleshooting?  Not covered in the manual on the defective hard drive errors.  Only how to remove and install a.

    Thank you.  Erica

Unplug the printer.  Loosen the screws and remove the print server plug at the back of the printer (he shoots just to the outside), then take the back cover off long.  Look for the two lights, amber and one green on the circuit on the left.  Lights are on the top left of the Board of Directors (main PCA).  If you do not have both lights then it is most likely doesn't have the power of power supply Board (the circuit board to the right of the hard drive).  My experience has been that when the power Board fails, the error you see is that the hard drive will not start.

If you have already tried a known good hard drive and have the same defect, it is most likely the problem.

    Tell us what you find.
