  Please let me know exactly what happened when you tried my suggestions of first and second.

  Of your most recent post, looks like you're watching the wrong part of the Device Manager. Optical drive is listed under "readers of CD-ROM/DVD-ROM". The info you gave appear under "drives". If the drive is not listed under "readers of CD-ROM/DVD-ROM" or there is no such section in Device Manager, then Windows do not see. If windows can't see it then this means that there is no power or that the drive is broken.

  When you pushed the drive back in, the player no longer has much of the book or did you have to push all the way. If the latter, it means that the drive has no power or is broken.

  With respect to the opening of the case, I guess I should ask first if it's a laptop or desktop?

  It seems that after reinstalling, Premiere Pro no has not been updated to the latest version. Check your application creative cloud for updates. If she says Premiere Pro is up to date, try to update Premiere Pro through help > updates... option in Premiere Pro.

  The black cartridge is not used when the photo paper is selected, because the black pigmented ink is not compatible with photo paper.

  It would seem that you have incompatible ink or have introduced air into the black cartrdige.

  Replace the black cartridge with a genuine HP cartridge should solve the problem.  [Unless the refill ink has contaminated the gas caps and wipers, in this case more work may be required...]

  I have a Canon MG6250 connected via USB. I run Windows 7 with all latest updates and the version of Firefox is currently 38.0.5. Since some time, probably about a year, starting after a new version of Firefox, I think, I have problems printing. (Sorry I don't remember which version it started happening.) Unless I'm waiting for the printer to prepare completely, although the print dialogue box appears and I click on print, often (not always) nothing happens. If I try to print again I get a pop-up window indicating that the print function is not available. If I then close Firefox and try to restart it, it tells me Firefox is already running. I have to put an end to its process through the Task Manager. Often, I want to print from several tabs already charges with the pages to print. Even if I managed to get the first tab print, somewhere along the line the same thing often happens: before I printed the tab page from the last I get the box pop up again and I have to end the process of Firefox to make it work again.   I continued to use IE with no problems printing. But then after Firefox 3.0 came out I gave it another go - and the problem seems to have been resolved. No matter how much time I spend in another tab and select print, it behaves as it should. Thank God - Firefox is so much better than IE.

  Welcome to the HP community! There is no software available for the printer Laserjet of Mavericks, which is why you can not open the printer utility or check ink levels. The drivers supplied by Apple are basic drivers. Regarding the wireless features, you need the software to configure it using the key to Airport Extreme USB is best option.

• RightFax Print Option - does not open the Fax dialog box

  Currently using Word 2003 with RightFax 9.3.  Word and RightFax are offered through Citrix.  When choosing, file, print and by selecting the printer RightFax the fax dialog box is not open to allow the user to enter the recipient, fax number, etc..  The document goes through the server, but cannot be sent because there is no reference to a fax number.

• Print Preview, do not open with file > print command in CS4

  I've been printing fine until recently, but now when I select file > print in Photoshop print the preview pane does not open. The menus gray out, but that's all. If I select print from other programs (I checked the Preview and Acrobat) print dialog box appears. I work with CS4 11.0.2. on OSX version 10.6.8 printing with an Epson 2200. I tried to delete and add the printer again. I have not installed anything new recently which may interfere.

  Try a different printer driver to see if this has anythign to do with the .ppd used by epson 2200, try same adoeb pdf.
