HP Envy 17-3070nr video driver for Windows 8? 3000hd Intel / video driver ATI 6790
Is here and there at - it a bios update coming to allow fixed graphics mode?
See my post
Good luck, it worked for me...
Hello forum, I have a little problem here...
I tried to downgrade my new TouchSmart from HP ENVY 15 15 - j023ea for Windows 7 because it is more familiar/current for me but unforunately I noticed that my laptop is not in the list of drivers for HP
Also, recent models of Envy TouchSmart 15 have no drivers windows 7 (at least what I've seen)
My laptop came with Windows 8 is installed. I installed my windows 7 on this computer and realized I have NO drivers for it...
This is the reason why I went to windows 8 right now and try to find a solution.
I really want to downgrade to windows 7 x 64. Are there drivers for this OS? If someone could help me I would really appreciate it!
HP has come out with some new notebooks of W7.
You should be able to use all the W7 x 64 drivers of this model on your.
DO NOT USE ALL DOWNLOADS OF BIOS OR FIRMWARE FROM THIS LINK
The only factor that is missing is the Intel HD driver you need to install the first before installing the Nvidia graphics driver.
Updating Windows 8.1 KB2919355 has proved to be extremely problematic for me. When he was released at the beginning of 2014 that I was not able to get installed it with the exception of two occasions, the first being several months ago and the second time, a few days ago. I have constant pain to try to get the update of KB2919355 until recently. What finally got the update installed was opened as administrator command prompt and type the following commands,
DISM/Online/Remove - Package PackageNameackage_for_KB2919355 ~ 31bf3856ad364e35 ~ amd64 ~ ~ 188.8.131.52
DISM / online/cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
So now, the update of KB2919355 has been installed. Only one problem: like the first time I had the installed, Windows Update leave commissioning. As the HP splash screen that normally appears during the startup process appears after about 3 seconds, Windows displays an error Stop, and for a fraction of a second will display SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED error, which as I read, is related to the graphics drivers. The thing is, after the cancellation of the update (the computer in Mode safe start put Windows automatically uninstall the update and everything goes well after), then go in and uninstall the graphics driver, restart, reinstall the graphics driver and reboot again, and then reinstall the KB2919355 update, the problem recurs. I also tried to download and to install the new update of firmware for my particular DESIRE machine which was released a few days ago, but which has not helped either.
I'm really stuck. I looked up and down, and I scoured Internet for anything that might help. I need to update KB2919355 be installed because without it, I can't book my free upgrade of Windows 10. This laptop is about 2 years and a half old now, so it fulfills all the prerequisites for Windows 10.
Please do not suggest that I do a Refresh of the system or a system reset, as I have no way to back up my programs, that which some I would not be able to reinstall because I have more drives for some of my programs. Also, I can lose to save him for some of my games. When people ask me "What's up?", I always say 'the CAP '.
So that seems to have solved the problem that is described in this post here. I followed the suggestion, which was to uninstall the driver, SPDT DuplexSecure (which has something to do with the SCSI devices, I'm not quite sure) using the SPDTinst (download here) and now it seems that Windows has started without crashing after installing the update KB2919355. I'll check my Windows Update history and see if it is there.
Low and behold, a year to be really behind value is ultimately more. I have successfully obtained the update of KB2919355 works on my computer.
I had this error on update, I have windows 10
• Error of Hewlett-Packard - Company WSD multifunction printer, MFP, HP ENVY 7640 of material other series - Null Print - 0 x 80070103
• Update driver HP for Fax - series HP ENVY 7640 - error 0 x 80070490
Thanks for sharing this request in this forum.
Please, try the following steps and hope this helps!
- Go to settings-> devices-> devices
- Click the Device Manager link at the bottom of the screen.
- Open "printers".
- Then uninstall/remove the "unknown device" if present.
- Restart Windows 10 update.
Thank you and best regards,
I work in HP, but I am personally.
I bought a HP ENVY 17-j029nr. Here is a link to the product specifications:
HP ENVY 17 Notebook PC

I will it downgrade to windows 7. Please let me can know where I find the drivers to do so. It allows to be son of decommissioning which were stick in the forum, but I could not find them.
In addition, I have an SSD, I'll install the hard drive that is already installed in the laptop and more. I still don't have cable, so I ~ got to do it in a few months in the future. But I noticed that hard drives coming in this notebook, namely:
Hard Drive - 1 TB hard drive 5400 RPM with HP ProtectSmart hard drive Protection
Solid State Drive - hard disk acceleration MSExchange (cache 24 GB Solid State drive) with Intel and Intel Smart Response Technology fast boot technology
are in a RAID0 system. I opened the laptop and couldn't see a hard drive inside.
Can someone develop if it is going to be any problem when adding the SSD for this configuration. Is that the RAID0 be compromissed?
The biggest problem now is the downgrade, please help me!
You are the very welcome.
Unfortunately, I do not know how to do this.
I don't think it can be done if you can not separately disable legacy startup and disable secure boot.
Windows 7 will not work with active secure boot.
I want to install windows 10 x 64 using a USB flash drive. But I'm a little confused on UEFI and inheritance issues.
The fundamental issue is that the new machines have UEFI while the old machines using the BIOS.
Any accumulation of PC after Win8 came out likely UEFI; those built before, aura of the BIOS.
The installation media Win10 you generate from the MS site will include the UEFI boot by default files, so if your PC uses UEFI, it it will use for the installation.
Legacy mode is a way to emulate the older BIOS, but it does not always work.
Here is a link with some information on UEFI: http://www.howtogeek.com/175649/what-you-need-to-know-about-using-uefi-instead-of-the-bios/
Your best approach is to build media Win10 using this link: install Windows 10 using the tool of creation of media - Windows help

I am trying to create a dual boot with Windows 8.1 provided and the owner provided 64 bit Windows 7, but it is impossible to find all the drivers for the motherboard and components (IPIWB-PB (Pittsburgh2). There are Windows 7 drivers for this computer? I have a user who will not be able to adapt to Windows 8.1, so I want to have an alternative.
You are the very welcome.
I think that those need the driver chipset if you have not installed.
After you have installed windows 10, beats audion is not entirely worked. Beats audio is present, but I can't enjoy the sound as it was before installin windows 10. where to find it
(a) are you trying to find the drivers for the card tuner TV ATI for Windows 8?
(b) what ATI TV tuner card model do you use?
(c) don't you try to find the drivers on the manufacturer's Web site?
ATI TV tuner card is a product of AMD. I suggest visit you AMD support site and see if you can find the drivers for the ATI TV tuner card model you use.
Hope this helps, if you need help on Windows let us know we will be happy to help you.
I just installed my HP Envy and wanted to set up a recovery disk. The USB key must be less than 32gigs, but the example has not been updated for Windows 10 the instructions say. It shows a recovery screen for a laptop of Win8 with the source of recovery like 17 concerts. Is there a way to check the requirements for the front to accept the HP one time recovery option. I have a new 16 GB USB key and wanted to make sure that it is large enough.
Also do a backup image to DVD? If so, how many DVDs? The laptop is new and I added only Chrome and some minor programs. My data files are always on an external hard drive.
Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.
To be honest, I don't know what size will be that these recovery files are because they can vary from the version of Windows to another. They can vary from a model.
In my opinion, 16 GB is probably not enough.
DVDs are usually 6 (6x4.7 GB = about 28 GB) but this can vary from one model.
This possibility of imbedding maybe once, there are other ways that you can save your system indefinitely.
This is a free option included in all windows (creating system image, it's free as included in Vista from the outset).
However, this option requires (e.g. USB HDD) external HARD disk or DVD. It does not work with USB flash drives.
I recently installed windows 7 on my computer laptop lenovo 3000 N100. but
I can't find the driver for the video card to install it. For now, the display is not very good and I have to install the driver for the video card.
I tried a lot of drivers for windows vista but did not work.
Thanks in advance
Sorry, I missed the fact that you are using Win 7.
Lenovo does not provide a driver Win 7 for N100.
It's Intel or Nvidia?
If Intel, try an Intel driver supports.
For Nvidia, a driver from Nvidia may or may not work.
But a Vista driver may work properly if you run the Setup program
program administrator and Vista compatibility mode.
Right-click the configuration and choose Properties. Compatibility.
That's what I would try. Uninstall the driver first.
I recently converted my desktop (HP Envy 700-420nx) in a server machine PC, running Windows Server 2012. But unfortunately the network stopped working. Then I installed the network (Realtalk) for windows 8.1 driver. But the problems still exist as it is. Says "No correct IP configuration" after an auto repair, "United Nations identified network" on the list of the networks.
This is why I would like to download the specific driver for Windows server 2012 or any other possible solution to this matter is appreciated.
See if the driver directly from Realtek works... DL and install the 3rd pilot (4th point) on the list.
I have two picks, don't know if the two are the same as:
My Video graphics card ATI Radeon HD 3450 Graphics
Ati Web page: LINK
HP support Web page: LINK
which is the best driver for windows 7 (64 bit)
ATI/AMD site is general for all GPU ATI driver, HP site provides a driver ATI/AMD custom/tested for HP model.
Unless the HP drivers are too old as in the case of XP, I recommend you to use the drivers from the HP site.
I have a HP ENVY 17-j010ep, I got it downgrade to Windows7 Pro 32 bit because most of the software I use to program machines is not available for Windows 8 or windows 8 Pro.
I managed to make the best of the material works fine except the audio Beats.
Is there a driver available for Beats audio on windows 7 Pro (32-bit)?
Thanks in advance!
What I did during this time, I have installed the driver audio HP 64 bit. Guess what, it works! inclusive Beats...
This will probably work better on a 64-bit Windows 7 but sinus computer I'm not a DJ, it works well enough for me
In any case, thanks for the suggestion of Paul!
See you soon
I was looking for a video driver for Windows 7 with no luck. The I need for the computer is a Dell Dimension 4600 with integrated video. When I tried the Dell Web site, they show only a driver for XP, because I'm assuming that it was the only BONE the 4600 can run without its standard equipment. The RAM has been improved to 1.75 GB, so 7 will run on it without any problem, but the only screen resolution that works is 640 x 480. I tried to go into the advanced settings, the list of all the screen modes, but when I select a higher resolution, reduce it, maximize, and close buttons go black and parts of the screen are becoming blurred. I tried two different monitors, so I'm sure I just need a driver. I can't find one that fits. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
