HP G72B60US HDMI to TV turns off audio surround

My audio connection goes to the headphone jack of my Surround receiver.  This works perfectly.  The HDMI cable connects TV to PC. When I connect the HDMI cable to the laptop, I get the video signal, but the sound surround is cut.

What I can do in the PC menu to activate the connection headphone while the HDMI cable is connected?

I am answering my own post.  I found in audio devices a (audio disable to Sony TV) while clicking.

It becomes now the audio of the connection of the headphone.  Problem solved!

By default the Vista transmits no sound on HDMI output.  To change this to change the settings in the control panel.

    a. click on the button 'start '.

    c. with the control to the "Control Panel Home" Panel, click on 'hardware and sound '.

    e. This will bring up a window titled "Sound".

    g. There should now be a checkmark on this option.
    h. the sound should play through your HDMI connections to the TV.

  • Windows does not recognize tv as audio device after it has been turned off and turned back on.

I have my computer hooked up to a HD TV with the HDMI cable.  The sound also pretended on television.  The HDMI cable is connected to my Radeon HD 6950.  I use Realtek HD Audio Manager with the ATI HMDI default Audio device.  All records are up-to-date.

When I put my TV off and leave the computer running, I go back and turn on the TV and the computer behaves as the TV is not plugged, but only for audio.  The video is still there.  In the audio playback window, I noticed that Windows would go to the optical audio device, even though there is nothing plugged into this Jack.  I disabled all other devices and left only the HDMI device, so it will not move on.  Now when I turn on the TV it is just like nothing is plugged in at all for the audio.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hello

    1. What is the brand and model of your computer?

    2. which edition of Windows are you running?

Example: Windows 7 Professional 32 bit.

It could also be a possibility that a manual entry is required from your TV to the HDMI connection, please check your Menu\setting where the HDMI and PC connection is checked once it is connected to options to switch the Audio and TV screens.

Please follow the steps mentioned below to help solve the problem.

    To disable improvements audio speaker

    a. open sound by clicking on the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type soundand then click on sound.

    b. on the playback tab, click speakers, and then click Properties.

    c. click the enhancements tab and then select the check box turn off all the improvements .

If you do not see the enhancements tab in the speakers Properties dialog box, these features are not available for your speakers, and this procedure is not applicable to your computer.

If disabling audio enhancements solves the audio problem you are having, this indicates usually that your audio driver needs to be updated.

  • TRV27 DCR how can I turn off the built in mic? I use other audio entries for broadcast on the Web

I use two TRV27s DCR to capture video live for broadcast on the Web, but I use another audio input for broadcasting on the Internet... ambient discussions are picked up by the microphones of the TRV27... How can I turn off?

Sony Handycam do not have a menu option to allow the microphone to be turned on or off. There are two possible solutions for this:

  • Turns off when I turn the audio volume

My audio turns off everytime I turn it up. Sometimes, the audio goes out of himself. There is a sudden static then it just stops and I try to turn up but it does not work. I have an iPhone running iOS 9.2 6s I don't know what the problem is and it gets really annoying. Anyone have this problem or knows how to fix? I have an apple appointment soon, but can't wait. I tried to reset the phone settings and did not work. Help, please!

Have you ever tried to force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo comes back again? You won't lose data, but it can cure some problems after installing new software or applications.

Getting setting up initial would be the next step after that:

Use iTunes to restore your device to factory settings - Support Apple iOS

    Beats Audio never turns off.

I can uncheck the box, and if the sound is less full, adjusting the sliders on the rockers in the Beats Audio effects the sound.

In addition, the sound is very compressed no matter what. Listen to a song file FLAC with headphones on my phone without equalizers and listen to them on my laptop with headphones, the difference is obvious. I have no idea why this would happen or how to turn off.

  • Computer DV7-1825dx laptop screen turns off at least connected to the HDMI

I have a Pavilion dv7-1825dx running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.  The other day, I simply closed the laptop into hibernation.  At the time, it was only connected to a printer and a wireless mouse.  The next day, I opened the laptop and it turned on but the screen stays off.  I shut down the computer by holding the power button and then turned back on.  The screen appeared and asked me if I wanted to start Windows normally.  Then, I got the loading screen for Windows.  As soon as he was done loading, the screen turns off and the chime sounded for the login screen.  I repeated again than having the same problem.  I typed my password, but the screen stays off.  Because I often hang my computer to our TV via HDMI, I thought I would try it, and that is, both screens lit.  I then disconnected the HDMI cable and the computer screen exploded again.  Plugged into the HDMI and activated.  I went into options for NVIDIA and noticed that there is an analog display with the screen of television and laptop (up to three screens on the list).  I restarted in safe mode, and the screen of the laptop works great.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?  That I can not connect my laptop to the TV whenever I want to use.

    Thank you advance!

Save the driver on the desktop and install it from there, not in a temporary folder.

Create a Windows restore point before starting.

During the installation of the new driver, click on "Custom" and there will be a link to uninstall the old drivers and all of your current settings, this before you install the new driver.

WMC in Windows 7 will not play audio without monitor

I want to choose a playlist, and then play the music with the monitor (plasma screen) is off. But a few seconds after I physically turn off monitor, WMC goes to sleep. He wakes up and starts to play again if I re - turn on the monitor.

Is there a way to configure WMC to stay awake and continue to play music even if there is no attached monitor, i.e. headless workstation?
NOTE: I do NOT use a distance of WMC to disable anything.

This is because device is selected by default. Go into the mixer and select another output device (speakers, for example).

  • Computer laptop HP DV6-3019wm and HDMI to LCD TV output. Turn off the laptop computer screen?

Hi all, when I connect my HP DV6-3019wm laptop to my LCD TV Via HDMI and watch a movie, or stream Netflix, etc.

How to turn off the screen of the laptop, or close the lid on the laptop? Without arresting him. Is it possible to do it on the laptop, easy enough for watching movies on the TV, without spoiling all the other parameters? Parts perfect TV, but the picture is still on the laptop too, at the same time.

Also, when windows 7 on the laptop has all these popups down in the lower right corner, windows updates, screensavers of updates, HP Advisor, Hp etc. This will affect the movie as it is being read? or do I have to cut this kind of things? It would be a pain if I had to turn off all, in order to avoid the film interrupted by a reminder that there are available windows updates.

Thanks for any advice, help, etc.on this.
