Is there a way to get the print job from that other person removed seems strange he is stuck need helpppppppp

I tried the fix for windows and it does not work is something I missed I tried the printer stop and nothing

It is now fixed what I had to do is remove the printer in my computer, and then re-download the drivers and then he allowed this.  Thank you for your patience and help.

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

To answer your question, YES, it is compatible with Win10 - but you must use the HP software and drivers, not the one that is provided by Microsoft.

Here are the drivers and the software for your printer page: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-LaserJet-1020-Printer-series/439423/model/3329726

You must download and install full feature software and drivers for the printer.

Remove all the drivers and software that Microsoft install for the printer.

Then unplug the printer and install the software.

Do reconnect the printer until the installation program invited to do so.

Once the installation is complete, restart.

You should then be able to use your printer in Win10.

    Good luck

    Hello

    Try the following.

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the document has been deleted.

  • Jobs FRUSTRATED stuck in the queue on Officejet 6500 with IP printing

I'm especially frustrated because I just typed in many details, and when I click on "Preview" my text disappeared. Thank you, HP!

Like others, I have an Officejet 6500 E709n. Print a test page, the diagnosis, the HP printer utility page, I cannot print any document. "They simply wander in the queue with the message host ' 192.168.2.6 network ' is busy. retrying in 10 seconds... forever. Yes, I tried to delete and add the printer again and he gets found very well.

    I can print with USB.

I can print with Hello (but which is slow, so I turned off)

It's okay if my OS X 10.5.8 laptop is connected wirelessly or through ethernet.

The printer is connected to the router Wireless Ethernet. At the present time, my mac is connected to the same router by ethernet. I just started the HP printer utility and printed page setup very well, showing the ink levels.

I'm guessing that it is a problem of intellectual property, and that the HP printer utility uses a different protocol to connect to the printer. Yes?

Fine, I can print from Windows 7 computer that is connected by ethernet on the same network. IP addresses are correctly reserved.

Please, someone help. I have a forthcoming major surgery and won't be able to walk upstairs to the office, so I really want to be able to print wireless from below. I bet once wired print jobs, the wirelss go, too.

Well well, thanks to the kind soul who wrote this:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/Mac-printing-and-scanning/duplex-printing-with-HP-OfficeJet-6500-wireless/m-p/129735#M3716

    (useful text cited below)

You can also modify an existing printer driver:

    (1) system preferences > Print & Fax

    2) click your printer

    3) click on the Options button & supplies

    4) click on the driver tab at the top

    (5) in 'print using... '. "drop-down, choose Select printer software...

    (6) locate HP OfficeJet Pro L7700 in the list

I followed the instructions to turn my printer OfficeJet OfficeJet Pro L7700 6500n driver. Let the JetDirect Protocol.

Now I can print when connected to the Ether - and I can print duplex. AND I can print wireless.

To sum up: If your print jobs stuck in the queue to print on a HP OfficeJet 6500n, but you can ping the printer or you connect via the HP printer utility, the following workaround solution:

Change the IP to JetDirect Protocol

Change the 6500n to OfficeJet Pro L7700 OfficeJet printer driver.

    SOLVED.

  • Keeps print job stuck in the queue and is not over

Mavericks OSX 10.9.2 running.  Whenever I have print the print job gets just stuck in the queue.  I already removed restart printer, uninstalled existing SW and downloaded and installed the current drivers and (v12.34.37) and always without success.

Now my son also reports the same problem on his Macbook (I think it also unfolds 10.9.2.)

Someone knows how to fix this?

    Hello MrRob,

Sorry, you have problems with the printer queues.  I have a couple of things to do which should solve this problem quickly.

The first is to reset the printing system.  This puts the system of Mac OS x to a default known good state.  This is a doc from Apple on how to do it.  http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14141.

The second thing to do is to check/repair disk permissions.  I do this on a monthly basis and after each update.  Anytime something weird is happening, as a feature that allows to work is not, or the options are no longer available, etc..  I repaired disk permissions.  This is done via disk utility in the Applications/Utilities on your Mac folder.

After doing both of those, restart your Mac and power cycle the printer, readd the printer to printers and Scanners and try again.

  • HP2710 print jobs stuck in the queue even if test page prints

I have a HP Photosmart 2710 all-in-one printer attached via the USB port of a laptop ASUS G73Jw running under Windows 7 64-bit. The printer worked fine with a Toshiba laptop running Windows XP 32-bit only. But now cling all the documents in the queue if thay are Word, pdf or Notepad. I tried everything I could find on the HP forums. I downloaded the last software update. I ran the diagnostics HPPDU utility. After that I ran this utility test page prints fine, but nothing else gets stuck in the queue. I obeyed different instructions to disconnect and reconnect the printer, do a reboot etc after running the diagnostic utility. I tried other 'solutions' various users have suggested, including disabling bidirectional printing, restarting the spooler service and directly without the print spooler. Nothing works.

Given that I can print a test page I doubt that it is a mechanical problem. I suspect some sort of driver incompatibility. Because I downloaded the driver more once in frustration I think there could be pieces of drivers still present, although I can't view them with the uninstall command or the Device Manager. In fact, I can't find any file with any HP device software. Maybe it's because the driver is downloaded directly from Windows 7 when you do a Plug-and-Play.

There are a large number of driver files under everything in the printer properties. But I don't know which driver files should be there.

I'm about to trash this printer unless someone has an idea what to do.

    Help!

It could cause a conflict if the printer is stuck which occupies the port because it could block all communication with anything that is not this printer.  It may be something wrong with the way that ASUS manages virtual USB drivers, but I have not heard anything.  You might try to give them a call if you're really curious, just to see if they know anything.

  • printer crashes after printing 1-2... stuck in the queue of work

Just installed HP printer and have a recurring issue.  I can send 1-3 print jobs to the printer and print correctly.  Then, the next task will be stuck in the queue and I can't remove it.  If I restart the computer, the print job goes through then the computer restarts... allowing me to print a few pages before it crashes again.  I tried the process step 10 HP to resolve problems printing, but in vain.  I am running Windows 7 and it's a HP LaserJet aio color 200 printer.  Using a USB connection.  Thanks in advance.

    I'm baaaack!

I finally got this printer to work by uninstalling the software once again, then set up to work wireless.  Not sure if reloading is or if there is a problem with the USB cable...

  • Everything I print gets stuck in the queue, but the document is printed

    ORIGINAL TITLE: Spooler

I installed a printer on a pc windows 7 64. Everything I print gets stuck in the queue, but the document is printed. The printer is on the network, I tried to restart the spooler and erased the record of the spooler, but perisisted of the question, given that the document gets stuck, no other agency will be able to print, remove the paper and print again to print but the file gets stuck again on the queue. I tried to change the IP address, but the same thing happened. Can someone help me?

Printer brand and model, if you please.

    Start > run > type services.msc

    Press enter

    Scroll down to print spooler

    Select stop

    Let Windows stop the spooler

Control Panel > printers and Faxes folder

Right-click on the printer icon, then select open

If you see pending orders in the queue, select the

Click file > cancel all Documents

If a job shows the deletion, but never finished, open the command prompt window

Start > run > type cmd

    Enter Net Stop Spooler

    Press enter

Wait for the DOS window opens and is

    Open the command prompt window

    Type Net Start Spooler

    Press enter

If that does not cancel the print job:

Your directory of spools Windows XP is located at

    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\PRINTERS

It will usually contain files like these:

    FP00008
    FP00008. SHD

There are two files for each remaining print job.  Just delete these and restart the computer.  Your queue should now be provisioned.

If you are printing over a network, and the queue is not clear after the above steps:

Go to the computer that has the shared printer connected and perform steps 1 & 2 above.

If this does not work, then go to the computer when he was sent to the printing of the task and perform the steps 1 & 2 on this computer.

    Run chkdsk

Start > run > type CMD

    Press Ok

    Type C: chkdsk/r/f

    Press enter

You will receive a message re: volume must be locked and you want to start scanning reboot?  Press y and press enter

Type Exit to close the CMD window

Restart the computer for the scan at startup

This will check the integrity of your data on the hard drive of computer as well as find and fix errors that could corrupt your data or program files.

I even recommend that you uninstall the printer and when you are done uninstalling, restart computer.

    Hi fancydog,

If you are able to print from firefox then the problem is with IE. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not solve the problem. You must contact Microsoft about the issue with Internet Explorer or continue to use Firefox when you need to print something on the web. Have a wonderful day

  • Printing HP Officejet Pro 8600 stuck in the queue - Wireless Intermittent

We have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 (CM947A) that we used it for several years without problem.  I use the version of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.  We have two PC that print wireless.  There were several days of work began to get stuck in the print queue of the printer for both PC to print.  I can cancel the printing of the queue, but the next task will be stuck again.  I print Microsoft Word documents contain a single sentence.  The problem goes away if I restart the printer, but the problem comes back the next morning.  I have re-installed the software print and changed the channel on the router on channel 8 that uses the null in the region.  The printer firmware is up-to-date.  The HP printing software and doctor Scan has not solved the problem. The indicator on the right side of the printer's pale blue wireless is enabled when the problem occurs.  When print jobs are stuck in the queue, I can not connect to the printer by typing the IP address in a browser window.

This problem has been resolved by the above phone support number.  We have solved the problem by changing the encryption on the router to WPA2 to WPA + WPA2.   The router is a Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO Router P57746-B.
