• How do I know what toner cartridge for HP Color Laserjet CP1215?

  I have the HP Color Laserjet CP1215 printer. The vehicle currently has the following four toner cartridges.

  CB540A - black

  CB541A - Cyan

  CB542A - yellow

  CB543A - Magenta

  Trying to find replacement for the printer cartridges, I see several different cartridges options, such as the CC531A, CC533A, 124, etc.. So my questions are?

  1. What are the different types of cartridge available for HP Color Laserjet CP1215?

  2. make the serial numbers indicare or say anything?

• LaserJet CP1215-printing color out of alignment

  We have a laserjet CP1215 color and (I think since the replacement of the black cartridge) print colors out of alignment. It seems that only black ink is out of proportion with the other colors. Have tried various recalibration etc, but nothing has worked so far. I've been advised by our IT support company that it's a hardware problem.

  I was wondering if it was just a case of a questionable cartridge that needs to be changed, but we do not have a spare part for the moment so I didn't spend the money on a new if someone could suggest anything!

  If you are having print quality problems, calibrate the product.

  1 open the HP Color LaserJet CP1210 Series Toolbox.

   

  Open HP Color LaserJet CP1210 Series Toolbox in one of these ways:

  1. In the Windows system tray, double-click the printer icon ().
  2. On the Start menu, click programs (or all programs in Windows XP), HP, HP Color LaserJet

  2. click the Device Configuration file and then click on the page of print quality .

  3. in the field of the color calibration, click Calibrate to calibrate the product immediately.

• kColor Laserjet CP1215 - blue lines at the bottom of page

  My LaserJet CP1215 began about 2 cm long printing blue lines every 2 cm on each side of a sheet of paper on the side of the printer.  I ran clean Page twice and also printed at least 100 sheets of paper to remove any toner that can be had on the machine.  However, nothing has worked, and the printer still prints blue lines.  Interestingly, no blue lines appeared on the own Page book when I put it to run.

  I don't know what you mean that "blue is bloodshed." Do you mean it is loose toner inside the printer cartridge?

  You did "eleven Solution: identify and replace the problem print cartridge'? '" These steps help to identify if the problem is with a cartridge, or if the printer should be cleaned more.

  If you have a cartridge that leak, sometimes there will be a loose toner inside the printer. It looks like the brilliantly colored or black dust. Some new cartridges come with a cleaning cloth (they ones I've seen are yellow/orange). If you don't, I'd get a type Microfiber cloth to wipe it off upwards.  If you get any on you or on your clothes, do not hot water to clean! The heat will set the color. Use only cold water.

  Another thought is that the imaging drum is damaged. In this case, you would need a new cartridge to solve the problem.

  Hello, I have a new 64-bit of Windows 8 computer and I am trying to set up my printer HP LJ CP1215.  There are no drivers on the website and I tried the universal PCL printer driver, but it does not work.  Any suggestions?

  There are no official drivers for your printer under Windows 8 immediately.  I heard of people using the Window 7 64-bit driver and do it to work this way.  I'm going to inculde the installation link.  If you have any problems, let me know and I'll see what I can find.

  I tried to get the cp1215 to work with my Mandriva Linux system cups 1.4.5.  I installed the HPLIP program for my distribution (3.12.10).  I installed the plugin,

  I can see the printer, toner levels, and he says that it prints.  But nothing comes out of the printer.  In the window of cups, he said only 'arrested '.  Reinstall the plugin generates an error.

  I see that you have problems with the dark printing. I'd love to help you.

  You can adjust the brightness in the application you are printing from, if this isn't a problem with the hardware with the printer.

  You use windows built in driver or did you download the Plug-and-Play drivers?

  HP Color LaserJet Plug-and-Play package.

  Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  Try and print a self-test on the printer hardware to see if it is a hardware or software problem.

  Solving print quality problems. Go to eight Solution: print a configuration page. Is it printed correctly then it would be software related. Let me know the results and how to print the configuration page. Please go well the steps contained in the document. Unfortunately, you'll skip the steps of the box tool.

  If the problem is still related software, you can continue with the following steps:

  Make sure that the correct paper type is selected in the print driver and he is not in default to unspecified.

  What kind of paper do you use?

  A year ago, the right side of the printed page was fuzzy when printing in color. (the black and colors were neither Kaleidoscope)  I called HP and was told that I needed a new printer, but I came to buy more cartridges so I changed the controls in order to print in black only.  Has been fine, but now the printer tells me that he needs a magenta cartridge and does not print even though I only print in black.  Is it possible to make 'ignore' the need for a color cartridge?  I won't spend $100 + dollars on the cartridges of colour that I can't use. Help!

  The printer should automatically print black only when a cartridge is empty, unless it's obviously the black cartridge.  Some error messages will cause this does not work well.  What is you get the exact error message?  It can be something that can be worked around, and it may not depending on the exact error you get.

  When installing drivers or software support for a device, it's always a good idea for the installation software right click and choose run as administrator. Acknowledge the UAC confirmation and provide credentials if requested.

  When you print anything that uses the cartrdidge magenta, magenta colour not aligned with the others. I had this problem in the past and have run some utilities from the Toolbox. However, the Toolbox freezes when I open it. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software and drivers, but the same still. My guess is that the leaves to uninstall a registry record that's why relocation is not successful? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  For about a week, I have the following problem with my HP Color Laser Jet CP1215: after 2-3 pages of printing, the device stops abruptly in the middle of a job and the light number 5 (paper) continues at the flashing light.

  However, the bin is full with paper.

  Ignitions and extinctions help only for another 2-3 pages, then printing will stop again as described above.

  Is there maybe a photoelectric cell that needs to be cleaned or a mechanical part that gives the status of bad paper from the paper tray to the printer?

  I can see how frustrating it would be. To determine the cause, we need to use more than one document. Redundant that some steps may seem, I would execute all.

  Please, try the steps in this these guides:

  • HP Laserjet CP1215 and printers CP1217 - 'paper ' Error Message is displayed and the printer does not look upward or feeding paper.
  • The Paper Jam flashing on HP Color LaserJet CP1215, CP1217 printer.

  If the problem persists, try a hard reset:

  • Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

• CP1215 won't print in black

  My HP Laserjet CP1215 print not black (even in black and white mode).  The cartridge is fairly recent and has left more than 1,000 pages.  I'm unable to print documents.  The leaves come out blank or they will show as the colorful items.  It's something new.  FYI - my color cartridges are low, but still have pages left.
