  Looks like the CD-ROM drive is a failure. Uninstall and reinstall the disc and check if this solves the problem. If the problem persists, you should replace the disk.

  To uninstall the drive from Device Manager:
  a. Click Start, then type devmgmt.msc in the start search box then press ENTER.
  b. right-click on the CD and click on uninstall.
  c. restart the computer.

I have HP 1020 printer and Windows 7 x 64, installed the latest printer drivers from the official site... but when I restart the computer there are no printers in the section "devices and printers" in the Panel.   You should be able to move your cursor to the top of the screen and the menu bar will fall.  So, you start with

  

  Drag the slider to the top of the screen against the edge and hold that and you should see

  

  Click the button of "green".  This should take you out of mode full-screen Mail.

  Command + control + F should do it too.

  Also when you have the cursor at the top of the screen and the menu bar comes down, you could also use Mail-> view-> full screen output

  You should also be able to use the command + Tab to switch to another application

  If I read this correctly, you have a portable computer that do not have an operating system on it.  You try to install Vista and get the error.
  You've restarted the Vista installation?  So then you get the same error? If you have tried to install more than once and continue to receive this error, check that the laptop is capable of Vista?  You may need to check with the manufacturer of the laptop to see if it is able to support Vista.   First, disconnect all the external devices connected to the computer, and then try to start and check what is happening.
