  • LaserJet M1217: Error Scanner 22 with a Laserjet M1217 on a wireless network

I just tried scanning a document using the SCAN TO PC.  It has worked well in the past.

When I launched the scan, the M1217 was presented to work until the moment where the scanner arm normally begins to move.  I heard a 'click' plastic, then I got SCANNER ERROR 22.

I followed the instructions on the FAQ section; disconnect the printer from the power, unplug the power cord, counted to 15 sec, plugged everything back in and NADA!  Re-error.

    Thank you very much

    Owen

    Hello

Usually, if you have a laptop wireless switch should have a wireless LAN card too. In your case I would try to install the driver. Then the WLAn card should appear correctly in Device Manager:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

If that doesn t work, you can try a BIOS update.

Are you running the factory settings or you have installed your own version of Windows?

  • Satellite Pro A40: MinPCI wireless network card required

    Hi all

I would like to put a wireless PCI card in my laptop but don't have a clue what I'm looking for.

Please could someone help me with suggestions, links, recommendations, information or anything that could help me
    solve this problem

    Thank you

    Hello

One question; You have a Wlan switch on the side of laptops?
If this isn't the case, then you can not upgrade this laptop with the network card wireless minPCI because you would not be able to activate the wireless card.

I checked the internet for a few details and it seems the Wi - Fi is available and in my opinion not extensible too.

I think that it s better to use an external USB WiFi key

  • Add LaserJet 1525nw to the wireless network

    Hello

Since I update my router for the Cisco E3200, it seems that my printer laser color 1525nw spray can not register to the router. I tried the router WPS button to find the printer and the PIN method, but both failed. Can someone please help me get the printer connect to the router wirelessly? I work in an office environment at home.

    Thank you very much.

I'm not entirely sure as to why this happens.  In some cases, restore the network by default before the WPS option used.

On the printer, go to network settings > network by default.  This will reset the network outside the parameters of the box.

Go to network setup > Menu wireless > wireless on / off and check the wireless radio is on.

Once it is completed, repeat the WPS configuration by going to Network Configuration > wireless Menu > Setup WPS to prepare the printer to use the router WPS button.

    Let me know what happens.

I am trying to set up my wireless printer, and the printer says its is connected to my wireless network, but I can't get my computer to print wireless if I disconnect my regular network and attach the direct wireless network name, which is different and stops my internet to work. How can I get my computer to recognize the printer on my regular wireless network?

    Hi @lelg,

I understand that you want to configure the printer on the wireless network. I can help you with this.

    Uninstall the printer software.

    Uninstalling the printer software.

Restore the default settings of the printer.

Go to Configuration, restore the default values.

Cycle power to the router and the computer.

Run the installer on the printer wireless.

Go to the configuration, Setup, menu wireless network, Wireless Setup Wizard.

Print a configuration page to get the IP address of the printer.

    Print a Configuration report.

    Select the method.

If you have a valid IP address for the printer, then try and access the Web built-in to the printer server. Type the IP address in the address bar of your web browser. (Internet Explorer)

If it loads the page from the network printer then the printer is on the network.

Download, save, and then run the installation of the software. Color HP LaserJet Pro 200 pilot M276nw MFPS.

Select your operating system, click Next and click on the software to download and install.

  • Problem trying to understand HP Laserjet CP1518n on wireless network

    Hello

I tried to understand meanings to the laserjet CP1518n on my existing wireless network.  The wireless network I set up is via an Apple Time Capsule.  I tried to connect her pinter directly to the router wireless via either the USB port or ethernet ports (CAT5 LAN cable), but on both occasions, the printer does not also appear online for me select the printer.

I wonder if there is something I should do outside of what I already did above.

  • Cannot get LaserJet M175nw print in a network

I just installed a new 100 Pro M175nw LaserJet printer on my network. However, I am unable to print over the network.

    • The printer is connected to an ethernet cable and configured with a static IP address on the network
    • I use a Windows 7 computer for printing
    • All of the internal functions of the printer work properly for example copy, reports
    • Printers when connected via USB to a computer

When you use the printer over the network:

    • Digitization of works correctly
    • The integrated mangement of the printer web page works correctly
    • HP Print & Scan Doctor diagnostic tests give the configuration all green ticks
    • Print jobs stay in the queue until they change to an error state.
    • The printer does not recognize the print job at all - no progress message indicating the print on the console document
    • If the printer is in mode 'sleep' it doesn't wake up
    • Print test pages from the installer of HP, the Windows printer properties dialog box, Acrobat Reader and MS Word all fail.
    • All the symptoms remain the same when I turn off the Windows Firewall
    • An another HP LaserJet 2605dn printer on the network will print correctly on a different IP address, but also using the raw format on port 9100.
    • I removed all the drivers for other HP printers in case there was a conflict - no change after you have reinstalled the software.

Can anyone suggest what I might have forgotten?  Thanks for your help.

    Problem solved.

    Critical steps seem to be:

    • I used the printer management web page (Networking / advanced) to "restore all network settings to their factory default values.
    • I then used the printer console to set the desired TCP/IP configuration - static IP, subnet mask, default gateway. No other changes.
    • The printer then worked correctly.
    • Later, I put the hostname and disabled all network services that I did not - like IPv6, Hello - and the printer continued to work properly.

The configuration of end result is identical to what I had until I can see - but it works now.

Thanks for your suggestions along the way.

  • Satellite Pro A660 - wireless network adapter issues

Hi guys hope you can help!

    I have a Satellite Pro A660 - 11 M Windows 7-64 bit

The wireless network adapter does not work...

I tried to reinstall the bios and the driver wireless.

The wireless button is lit to Yes as the key Fn + F8 doesn't show not relevant wifi is turned on/off as usual!
It shows also in the Device Manager and BIOS.
Is there something I missed? Or is it a faulty card?

    Hello

    > It shows also in the Device Manager and BIOS.

First of all, you won't find any WLan entries in the BIOS.
But you should see the local network card in Device Manager.
If good WLan driver has been installed, the local network adapter device should appear in devices-> network cards Manager.

If WLan driver has not been installed properly, you'd still see an entry under network adapters, but it should appear as unknown device or Ethernet controller.
    You can this inscription?

In addition, the WLan driver was released on the Toshiba UE driver page.
The question is; have you chosen the right Wlan driver.
As much as I know that the laptop supports the BROADCOM 802.11(B/G/N) BCM94313 WLan card and, as a result, Broadcom Wlan driver should be used.

  • Satellite Pro A40 fell on the wireless network card; Damaged PCMCIA slot

This morning my Satellite Pro A40 (Celeron 2.6) fell 40 cm. He fell right on the wireless network card that has been inserted. This card is still alive and so is the rest of the laptop, but the PCMCIA location is little damaged. I can insert PC cards almost completely, just the last piece (when the pins are) wrong.

I removed the cover near the CPU, and there, I could see the inside PCMCIA slot; I could see the main part and the last part where the pins are. That little part as is pushed upward, as you can see in the pictures.

I think I'd be able to fix myself this PCMCIA slot, but I can't remove it. I removed all the screws on the rear plate, but he is still blocked.

    Pics:

    PCMCIA slot

The PCMCIA location; on the left, you will see the part with the pins, which is pushed upward. It's also what I see when I look at the pins in the PCMCIA slot. as they are pushed down, but I don't think they are folded.

    Wireless network card

Wireless network card; It is a little damaged but it still works.

Does anyone have an idea how I can remove the back plate, or another way to remove the PCMCIA slot and fix it?

    Hi Steve

Well, I can give t well you not answer how you can just remove the PCMCIA slot.
There are a lot of screws and to my knowledge, it is necessary to remove all covers and screws that are placed at the bottom of the unit and inside under the keyboard.
Please check this specific device. Perhaps you have overlooked a few screws.

But if it is impossible to remove the PCMCIA slot of the unit, I recommend to ask the service partner for a detailed instruction.

    Good luck
