HP officejet 4500 G510n french: installation of the HP officejet 4500 G510n wireless failed

The first phase of the installation process I get the attached window:

Regarding other devices I don't face any problem USB.

I checked all the USB drivers on the list of devices.

I wonder why I got this message because I do not wish to install via a USB line but wireless. I checked that the printer has been connected with my DELL lattitude e5570. Feel secure by the driver windows is no problem.

What do I do to solve this problem.

Hello

In Windows Explorer, type % temp % and press ENTER.

Locate and open the installation folder of HP, which begins with 7z (e.g. 7z1234s) or appears as hp.

Open the installation folder.

Find the usbready.exe file and rename it usbready1.exe.

Now browse a level upwards and press Setup.exe to begin the installation, and then follow for the difference.

Please let me know of any problems,

Shlomi

  • OfficeJet 4500 G510n Wireless: USB Incompatible

I recently bought a new Asus computer and cannot install my laptop wireless officejet printer 4500.

During the installation of the drivers, he suddenly stops to tell me that my USB and USB hardware driver is not compatible, I find it very hard to believe.

I tried to use the HP scan doctor, HP support assistant, and looking at this forum.

I am running Windows 7 and meet the minimum requirements of the printer. The printer works fine on Macbook Pro my wife.

I tried to install the wireless drivers and tried to connect the printer via the usb port. All diagnostics and controls see the printer connected to my network, but the installation will not end.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Sorry for jumping, as it appears from the error checking of the system, by selecting any type of prior connection.

The problem occurs as a result of the USB 3.0 card which was made years after the HP software.

Please follow these steps to install the HP software:

Click the Start button and type folder in the search bar, then open the Temp folder indicated.

Open the last installation folder that begins with 7z (e.g. 7zs1234) HP or HP folder and then open the folder that is listed under the name of your printer.
    Open the installation folder.
Find the file usbready.exe and rename it to usbready.old.exe
Navigate to the main extraction folder (folders that begins with 7z) or HP > YOUR printer model and launch the Setup.exe file.

Now follow the installation and check for the difference.

    Kind regards

    Hello

You can run the printer troubleshooter. Convenience store solves some common printing problems.

If your computer has problems printing, try using the printer Troubleshooter to solve the problem. He made sure that a printer is connected to your computer, and it checks for common issues such as whether the printer has enough paper and toner to complete printing your document.

Open the printer Troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooting, and then click Troubleshooting. Under hardware and sound, click on use printer.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8000: installation of the driver wireless Officejet 8000 Pro says default gateway is 0.0.0.0

I'm chasing a well-documented problem of my printer lost network connection after a variable period of printing to do not. The only way to connect is to change the power supply, but the printer may take 5 minutes to blow and grunts until it settles and prints...

I put a static IP address on the printer (10.0.0.250) as well as an empty default gateway successfully, and the documents are printed after 5mins of blowing and grunting (save the regular lost connection which I'm hunting...).

I put what I thought has a static IP address on the router to match (see image below), but now I don't know if it was necessary, and if the 'hosting of the fixed DHCP server' is correct. It might be useless and missleading...

Using the configuration of the printer to 10.0.0.250 interface, it seems to accept the installation of the network when the default gateway is blank. With the help of 10.0.0.2 caused the 'page not found' error in my browser (Chrome).

However, when you try to reinstall the drivers, the installer has grumbled to the default gateway is set to 0.0.0.0, which currently is the only way it will work...

The Win7 PC is plugged into the router.
The printer wireless to the router.

ipconfig on the pc gives Ethernet card details below.

So basically I have no idea what I'm doing...!

    ==============

Ethernet connection to the Local network card:

    The connection-specific DNS suffix. :
    Link-local IPv6 Address...: fe80::c8e1:63ef:85e0:7 24% 13 c.
    IPv4 address...: 10.0.0.249
    ... Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0.
    ... Default gateway. : 10.0.0.2.

    Router config.

Thank you for your comments. It seems that I solved the problem of the default gateway. Time will tell if the remains of the printer connected through long periods of no use (see update below).

It seems that the configuration of the router of the "DHCP fixed existing host" has nothing to do with the device assigned a static IP address. In fact, it seems that this setting prevents the printer through a default gateway of the router address.

I noticed that when you give the PC a fixed IP, it connected through the router without any other configuration of router. If I reasoned that it may be applied to the printer also, so I moved the printer 10.0.0.251 and Bingo! the default gateway can be set to the IP address of the route.

Since then I downloaded to other updates, which is supposed to correct the common problem of wireless printers, loss of the connection.

I'll try to report in the next few weeks an update about the stability of connection network printers.

    UPDATED: May 23, 2016

And more of the foregoing, my router support suggested I increase a parameter "timeout" from 24 hours to 10 days. I did it more than a week. Today, the printer worked after the impression of not for about 5 days

  • Satellite U200: Home WXP - installation of the other language

I saw a good deal on a Toshiba Satellite U200 and want to buy, only problem is the Windows XP Home comes with, it is in French, and I want an English... OK, I have one English here, so I can activate it, but I was wondering if I can just install the English version and remove the French class. Do I have to re - install all drivers and stuff?
If so, I can find them on the Internet from Toshiba site?

    Thanks in advance.
    Greetings, ' pimpin :)

    Hello

If you want to use the Windows in English then you definitely install this OS in the English language.
Then you have two choices. Either you want to use only a single OS on the HARD drive and install Windows in English on the existing French operating system partition you will create a second partition and install the English Windows as the second operating system.

After the installation of the OS, you will need to install the drivers of Toshiba and utility in the right order if you want to use the features of Toshiba laptop together.

The necessary drivers, you can find the Toshiba site

  • installation of the software of the printer for my printer in windows 8.1

My computer crashed and I need to do a factory restore I did successfully a few weeks before and when you are prompted in the installed updates Windows 8.1 (I was already on Windows 8.0). I installed all my software with success except the complete software and drivers for my HP Officejet 6500 e709n wireless. I downloaded this in 'download' for HP.com, no problem, however, when I try to run the program, I can't get to the extent where to extract the files. They extracted, but nothing happens after that. I looked on this website and generally in line, tried everything imaginable, but still no luck.

I can print but I cannot use the scanner and really this need.

I have since the pnp (Plug & play) for the printer is missing any ideas where I can find it.

    Hi anotherangel

    Sorry, it's so frustrating.

I have provided a few steps by which you can try to see if you can get the printer working on the Win 8.1.

    Run all windows updates.

Here is a url to temporarily disable all the startup programs to see if one of them is causing problems.
    http://winsupersite.com/Windows-8/Windows-8-tip-manage-startup-applications

You must follow the same steps to enable all again when you have finished the installation and testing of the printer.

Here is a document to restart the spooler to print on 8 to win.
    http://www.Samsung.com/us/support/howtoguide/N0000192/9811/116618

When running the installation right-click on the installation and run as administrator.

I am including a document for the progress bar on the Software Installation stops or stalls.

Let me know if it helps.

  • Need help: Officejet 6500 E709n wireless installation

After a month of successful use of the Officejet 6500 from my laptop (running XP Professional SP 3) wireless I suddenlly lost the connection. I have recently added a new software. I couldn't add the printer because it is not visible, even by using its IP address) to attempt to reinstall the drivers. I tried the original CD and both the full and scan and print install download options, both hang on to 94% full.  I used the HP help nothing works cat. The HP network diagnostic utility sees the printer and the fine network and does not indicate any problem. Yet, no installation or the HP Print diagnostic utility programs can see the printer.  I tried each facility several times, including repeat downloads. I am able to access the wireless printer from a Vista desktop and another laptop running Windows 7. The printer (and functions) works very well.  However, the XP laptop is my machine of the company, and I need it to work.  Any suggestions? Is there a way to install all the drivers without all the other stuff?

If printing is all you need, then I can help you.

    1. Go to the printers and Faxes folder, and click Add a printer.
    2. Now select "Locally connected printer" and UNCHECK "automatically detect the device.
    3. Now on the next screen, choose to create a TCP\IP port for the IP address of the printer.
    4. On the next screen, you will be asked to select the driver. Click on the 'Disk' button, then browse and select the file "autorun.inf" of the printer installation disc. Now the printer driver appears. Go ahead and select it.
    5. Complete the add a Printer Wizard and try printing.
