HP Officejet 4630: Margins in Microsoft Publisher printer problem - 4630

Just bought a new printer (see above).  I use Microsoft Publisher a lot and have had no problem with fixing the previous HP printer margins.   It does not work with this printer.    I put a.5 pour.55 for low high margins and left and right margins.  Worked fine in another printer.  Also, the images will not print completely.

A decided to test the image on the page white and copied from the original page, and then glued on the blank page and pasted it in the exact area on the page, but when I printed, the image printed at the top of the page.  Crazy.  In addition, the picture is not all there.  For some reason, she is enlarged but part of it is missing.

I test this in Microsoft Word, same thing with the size of the image, but he did copy and paste correctly.

I just bought this printer and really upset.  I'm wasting so much paper to document student.

I thank in advance and hope you have an answer.

I answer to my previous post.  Even if I couldn't find the part where I set margins to reduce to a minimum, which apparently isn't serious.  I was able to keep my 0.5 for the left, top and right and 0.55 for the bottom.

The problem was with the images, so I tried different ways to bring in the images.  I had to remove the images in the document of the registered editor, then started using the "Snipping Tool" in Windows 7.  What I've been able to do with the previous printers, is just COPY what I have snipped and paste it into the editor.  That didn't work, so then I tried to save a .jpg file.  Still had a bit of trouble, so saved as .png.   Well, now I can add my text to the images and it keeps the sizes.

I think I'll try the .jpg stresses out me again I was really with all printing and paper waste, so I might have missed that .jpg would actually work.  Doesn't make sense that he would not, but it is not supposed that I can't paste the copy of the Snipping Tool, either.

Boy, you wish that the print heads had not come out on my previous HP printer.  It was great.

Thanks for trying to help me.

Now, I don't know how to set this as resolved because I do not see this option here. then let me know, please, how to do this.

  • HP Officejet e4630: new printer prints images in Microsoft Publisher wrong.

Hello.  I had to get a new printer and choose the HP Officejet e4630.  It's a simple printer, as I work as well, now.

I create my documents to distribute lessons in Microsoft Publisher (2003) and includes images in tutorials.  I usually do the parts of the software to screen captures and simply copy and paste in the editor.   Never had a problem like this before.

Now, when I print documents, the images are HUGE and out of the page.  I resize and they look great on the screen, but come out terrible when printing.

I just had a class with several pages of documents to distribute up-to-date and had to make a PDF file and take to my husband printer to print, since there is the program I use to create.  Is not acceptable and does not know what the problem is.  I even took the screen shot and saved as .jpg, png, etc. and inserted in my editor program and that made no difference.

Configure the printer makes no sense to me and options have locks on them, so I am at a loss.

I bought the 21/08/15 and don't know if I can return it, so if you have answers for me, I certainly would appreciate it.  I really hate the return of products.

    Thank you.

Oh gosh, I had given up on the Forum because it's been a while since I posted.  What I did was contact HP support and finished with a person to enter in my remote computer and checking the settings, etc.  What she ended up doing updates to the software (I thought that I did when I installed it, duh!) and then it worked fine.

Thank you for your advice and will keep it in mind if needed, next time.

Now, I'll post this message and then come back here and hope that I find the original so I can mark it as resolved.  I always so bad to find my original message when signing.  The forums are confusing to me, this way.

    Thank you very much.

I entered the wrong email address for my printer Hp Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer Google Cloud Print & now the premium printer Hp Officejet 6700 is showing that & option. I fixed the email address to hpconnected.com with the appropriate claim code (4598edne25uvy), I changed the email to [personal information deleted]

    Hello @db53,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you have the wrong printer on your Google Cloud Print account.

    I would like to help.

If you goto Google.com/cloudprint, then select printers in the left column, you can choose to delete the printer.

That it will take off your Google Cloud Print account.

You may also select the option "Add printer ready cloud" again.

This time, when you add the printer, use the address custom connected HP ePrint.

I'm not sure about the Gmail app, which may have to be processed by the Publisher app.

With luck it will be fixed when you remove the 6700 account.

  • HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one: problem of margin Officejet 4630

I need to have a few very small margins on a document.  Even if I set the margin to 0, when I print it is always about a 1/2 inch margin and cutting off content that shows well on the page mode.  I use a Mac with os x Yosemite.

    Help please!

    Hello @lauriekeys,

Thanks for getting back to me about this issue. I'm sorry to hear that the setting without borders could not solve your problem. Now, I'm going to make sure that your driver is properly installed on your Mac OS X 10.10 Operating System. On Mac OS X 10.10 sometimes a generic driver from Apple AirPrint will load on your printer and gives you only the basic printing functionality. To ensure that this is not the case, can I please have you perform the following steps:

    How to check the driver:

    1. click on the menu Apple and then click on System Preferences.

    2. click on Print & Scan

    3. click the name of your printer on the left side, click the sign minus (), then remove the printer.

    4. click the sign plus (), click Add a printer or a Scanner, click the name of your printer.

    5. click on the area of use or with the help of Print and then select the name of your printer in the context menu

    6. click Add to add the printer to the list.

    7. close Print & Scan

Once the correct HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer driver is checked during loading, please try printing your document again.

If the issue persists, please should I tell you:

    1. what type of program you are using to print the document with the small borders of?

    2. What size is the page that you print with small borders (letter, legal, 4 X 6, etc.)?

Please let me know if the steps I have provided resolve your problem of margins. I look forward to hear from you!

My printer is not printing. When I try to print now come but it dose not print. I tried to print from 2 computers and same problem. Also tried turing the printer works but the problem persists.

    Hi @MichalP,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printing problem.

I understand that you use a HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer with a computer Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and the printer will not print even though it now says "Printing". I would like to help with that.

You mentioned that you tried a second computer and it did the same thing. The second computer is a Mac as well?

I would start by doing a Reset of the power on the printer. Maybe the printer is in an error state.

It looks like the image that you tried to load didn't download successfully so I'm not able to see what it was.

Please let me know if the power reset helped, or if you need further assistance. If you need to return, please indicate which operating system and uses the second computer.

  • HP Officejet 4630 all-in-one printer print cancels in the workplace

    Hello

I recently bought a HP Officejet 4630 all-in-one printer, and it automatically cancels the work in the middle of printing. The computer I use is a dv7 HP Envy with 64-bit Windows 8, and I print on a wireless network connection. My computer receives an error that HP Officejet 4630 series could not perform printing and the printer just says Cancel. I tried all the steps in the sections troubleshooting, both printing and network connections problems. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times, I created a manual IP address and everything, but nothing seems to work. It seems also that the issue when using HP ePrint. It occurs in all sorts of programs and formats such as word, pdf and html. Unfortunately, I did not receive a USB cord, I can't see if that will fix the problem at all. I hope someone can help me with this, otherwise, it is obvious that there is a problem with the actual printer, I have had and I have to return something else.

    Thank you

This is how I fixed it:

    1. Find out what IP address, is that your printer uses.
    2. Go to control panel, then click "View devices and printers."
    3. Look for your printer right click.
    4. Click on "Printer properties" and a new screen opens.
    5. Along the top, you will see some tabs. Click on the one that says "Ports".
    6. Click on 'Add Port '.
    7. Highlight "Standard TCP/IP Port" by clicking on it, then click "New Port".  A new screen opens.
    8. Click "next".
    9. Type the IP address of your printer, and then click "next".

Your computer should find your printer.

Click 'Apply' and your printer should work fine.

  • OfficeJet 4630: 4630 can print grayscale using only the black cartridge?

I have purchased a printer 4630 and want to use it like I did my old PSC1350 - using only the black cartridge for all printing. I can't find any setting of grey for the 4630 that will allow for this. With the 1350, the grayscale setting would prevent any color ink cartridges is used, an unnecessary expense for printing in black on white paper.

If there is no setting on the 4630 grey scale, can I be sure that black ink is used only for printing without color?

    Hello @clif9710!

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

Your printer Officejet 4630 should be able to print in gray scale and the options should be in the window of the printer printing preferences.  I was able to locate a document regarding the changing settings in windows 7 print.

If you do not get the options to print in gray scale you will need to uninstall the HP software, including the old software, restart the computer and re-install the HP Officejet 4630 software again.

To uninstall the software HP click here: uninstall the HP software

To download the HP software, click here: driver and software Officejet 4630

Another good thing about the Officejet 4630 is that it allows to print mode single cartridge.  cartridges for your printer built in print heads which means that it requires no 2 print cartridges.  If you never use the Tricolor cartridge or you are planning on printing in black, you can remove the Tricolor cartridge, put the cap of the cartridge down and close the lid.  The printer should now say "mode single cartridge printing.  Once the printer is closed upwards, you can send your print job and it will print using only the black cartridge one!

Thanks again for posting on the forums of HP and post back and let me know how it goes!

  • HP Officejet 7110 wide printer - problem with MARGINS

    Hello!

I changed my old 1220C for a wide format 7110.

I try to print from AutoCAD drawings A3 file (I'm an architect), but one side of my drawing always gets cut.

I tried printing on all available paper sizes, I tried to change the margins, I searched the forums for suggestions, but nothing seems to help.

I don't need borderless printing, I need to be able to print my drawings with a 25mm from the left edge and framework that is 5 mm lower and top edge, right, but I can't get the right margin less than 16mm (others print correctly).

When I change the margins manually from the print window in autocad, I have print preview displays properly, but print still cut the right side.

Help, please. I ' ts driving me crazy, and I have the same problem at home and at work, because we recently purchased the printer even in my office too.

Both printers are installed on the Windows 7 operating system (one is a 32-bit and the other a 64-bit version).

I repeat - I have no need to print without borders, just decent margins in my plain paper drawings.

Thanks in advance for any help,

  • OfficeJet Pro 8660: default margins with double-sided printing

I have a 8660 OfficeJet Pro connected wireless via a network to two computers, one running Windows 7 and the other running Windows 10.  On the Windows 10 machine, I noticed that when I print on both sides of the paper, the default printer to the print wide margins (1 ").  For example, I have a 3 pages with 0.25 "Excel document margins.   If I print it in the form of three separate pages, it prints very well, with margins as I have defined it.  But if I print the same document using the option "print on both sides", the printer uses the wider margins.

This only seems to happen on Windows 10 machine.  Given that the two computers are connected through the wireless network, I do not understand why they should all work differently.

    I hope someone can help!

    Hi @Patti_Mik,.

Please get back to me and provide other information. I see that you have the printer Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.

If the same document print from another computer, there is probably a problem with the driver for printing on Windows 10.

Please download and run the print and Scan Doctor, to confirm that you are using the correct printer driver.

    • What were the results when you ran the printing and scanning doctor (she print or scan, error messages)?

In addition, I would like to try to create a custom paper size to see if you can get it to print properly.

What program are you printing from?

    • Try to print the document to a different application.

Please reply to this message with the results. Good luck!
