My printer does not illuminate.  If I remove the plug from the socket turns on and turns off then on again.  The message on the display says "turn off the switch to avoid any damage", but that's what I do all the time.  He then turns off.

    Error message reads Oxc19a0013

A person can offer advice please.

It has ink should be in the printer, usually some back of small spatter and the capping station (basically a pad on the bottom of the printer in the right side). If you have what looks like the casting of ink in the printer, Yes, it could be the cause of the error.

Did you try the update of the firmware, I suggested?

  • 4620 all-in-one: printer 4620 not found el Captain upgrade device

After installing El captain, my printer is no longer visible. I downloaded the 10.11 software but not good.

    Sunshyn2005,

Looks like it's working now. I had made many stops and restarts my iMac yesterday but the printer 4620 figura in Preferences system or hp utility. But this morning I started the Mac and now the printer is available and working. I still don't see where I select a driver, but maybe I don't need to worry about this more. My only concern is that last week, I had also a miracle cure, and then it didn't as you can see my note yesterday. Thanks for your help.

  • Require an HP officejet printer

I want to buy a HP Officejet printer for my shop (Commercial use) that can be loaded with kit ciss (Continuous Ink Supply system) so what are the models of hp officejet and officejet pro that I can use?

Also let me know that some hp officejet printers have the print head and some don't? Do this ciss affect printhead kit?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

HP makes no printers for CISS systems. HP recommends the use of original HP ink to ensure the best quality for your printing to print. Of course you can choose according to your printing experience, but the reliability and longevity of your printing experience may not be as good as using original HP ink cartridges.

  • How to adjust the margins of the page on the officejet printer 6700

How you set the margins of the page on a premium of 6700 Officejet printer all-in-one. I just bought and set up.

Configuration and installation went well and everything seems to work. I looked in the software development and have not yet

to find something on the definition of the page margins. The question arose when I printed an email as well as the right doesn't have the edge of it

    print.

If I understand this has much to do with the original message and the format (an example here of users with similar issues). It seems html in messages can cause this and things like scaling to fit are unable to help. Are you able to export email and open in word or a similar program for printing?

  • printer 4620. I can't print in black.

I can't print in black. I changed the black cartridge genuine HP, no luck. I made the diagnosis and the heads cleaned/aligned, I didn't put the old cartridge of INK BLACK back, no chance.

test print has colrs and black very very thirsty. any advise?

    Hi morriskwt,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you are facing some print quality problems on your HP Officejet 4620, you cannot print in black ink, you tried an alignment without success.

I would like to continue you here: printer does not print black ink or color of ink or prints blank Pages, I understand, you may have made some of these steps already but I need you to complete all the steps in order to solve the problem of the missing black, you encounter.

Please note: there are three stages of print head cleaning. Three steps if necessary. If the print head is badly clogged, it may require another round of cleaning. If so, wait 30 minutes after the last step of cleaning (third) to start the first stage of the cleanup process.

If you are unable to print in black ink, I think that the issue may be the printer and not the cartridge. I highly recommend call you our technical support at the 800-474-6836, I'm sure they will be able to help you regardless of the status of the guarantee. • HP OfficeJet Pro 8620: RDP 8620 Officejet prints strange lines

I tried to find an answer to this for almost a month.

We have a HP Officejet Pro 8620 and we want to be able to print from a remote computer to ours. The printer is shared.  We'll call the local computer pc1 and the computer remote pc2. PC1 remotes in pc2 using a standard Windows 7 Remote Desktop connection. PC1 sharing their printer with pc2 by redirect. the sharing of each resource to which is connected to it. PC1 is trying to print, and then waits. The printer that is connected to the pc1 via USB cable gives us a message that looks like this of course is not what we want when we try to print an Excel worksheet. No, this is not the complete document. This is the first 1/3 or the page and the rest is completely white. It almost looks like a code any. I installed the drivers on ppc1 both pc2. I tried the drivers universal instaslling. I was told that get this work 4 years ago was very easy, but I could not crack. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Problem has been resolved by the default driver. Has not reappeared since we have updated for the generic driver for 8600. Had to install the driver on the two machines.

  • As 7612: 7612 OfficeJet printer fails to update

-Very well, make sure first that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

    1. Turn the printer off.
    2. While the printer is turned off, disconnect the power cable from the back of the router for a minute.
    3. When the lights come back on the router, turn on the printer.
    4. When the printer is on, remove the power cable at the back of the printer for one minute.
    5. On the printer, click web services icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
    6. Click settings.
    7. Select updates.
    8. Check for Updates and disable the automatic updates.

Please let me know if it solves your problem. If so, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • How can I disable the cartridge on my HP officejet printer protection 8600?

    Hello

I read that the officejet 8600 has a cartridge protection feature that can be disabled through the Toolbox. I have been through all the settings in the printer of his auto tools and can not find, I also have trawled through all kinds of HP stuff on my computer and cannot find any protection tool box or cartridge feature.

It's one of the links, I'm referring too.

    http://www.cartridgesupport.com/HP950and951usage.PDF

But has met several items similar to this on the net. If someone out there can give me a step by step method to achieve this goal, I will be eternally grateful.

    Thanks in advance.

    Robert

Is your printer still under warranty? You can check with the tool of warranty HP here.

If this printer is connected over the network, you can enter the printer's IP address in your browser and change the settings there.  You can find the IP address of the printer from the Control Panel, click on the wireless icon.

This disables the marking cartridge so that they cannot be used in another printer, that it does not print with another printer that have already been marked cartridges.  From the web page: "feature allows you to mark all the authentic HP used in your printer cartridges so that they cannot be used in any other printer. If someone tries to use your cartridge protected in another printer, use of the cartridge will be blocked and they will be that it can be used in the original printer. »

  • Squeak Officejet printer 6500 E710n

My Officejet 6500 more E710n is about two weeks old.  He has developed a very unpleasant squeal when the print head is in motion.  This happens after printing 3 pages.

I'm afraid the high unexpected loads will drop the print quality and printer wear at the beginning.  And the high-pitched cry is very annoying.

    Thank you, Bart Dawson

I had the same problem!  I tried to put a small amount of lubricant on the Guide for the head, but printing pin

that did not help.  I've finally isolated the squeaking of the little wheel that holds the right hand strand of the

small toothed belt that moves the print head back.   Be sure not to make the lubricant on anything else

or you can lead to other problems.  I used a silicone lubricant designed for securities of garage door because it is thicker than

most lubricants and is easier to do not all fall inside the printer.

  • 6600 HP Officejet printer: printer

Lets click on my for HP Officejet 6600 printer icon in order to access your room or preparing to scan something.  Now I have 'DeviceSetup.exe' under user account control asking me if I want to allow this app make changes to my computer.

Answer 'no' just close the pop-off and answering ' Yes, he then asks to connect a new printer.

I already can print documents, images, etc. without any problem, but is more correctly can enter the area of the icon.  I would like to analyze something really, but can't, or I can check my ink supply.

Well, your suggestion was a bit more than I could comfortably handle that I was too nervous, suggest the words were things that I had never even heard before.

BUT wanted to give you congratulations in any case the thought and time spent with someone quite nervous about your ideas by train.

I went to doctor HP Scan which I went forward with no luck, but this time, drew more deep and was finally able to correct the situation.  I didn't thank you but for all your time and efforts.  Very much appreciated.  Maybe the next time that I will be not so 'chicken' as they say.

  • HP Officejet Pro K550: HP Officejet printing only in yellow

Despite the change of all cartridges in my HP Officejet Pro 550 k, I can't get the printer to print in uneven yellow?  I have reset the printheads several times and it has not solved the problem

    Does anyone have any suggestions

    Welcome to the @karandy forums

I read about the issues you are having with your Officejet K550 printer because it is only print Yellow ink in clumps. As you have already changed the ink, I wouldn't recommend this even once and unfortunately looks like an internal malfunction. However, please always try the rest of the troubleshooting steps in the guide that I found for you below.

If the problem persists, call HP directly to discuss your printer options.

  • can not cancel 8500 hp officejet print job in windows 8

I can't cancel print job on a HP officejet 8500 in windows 8

    Hello

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.

    Kind regards

  • 5740 HP Officejet printer: HP Officejet 5740 prints all lines of poor quality of black ink, a few lines thru

New printer, getting the veins through every few lines of print black ink

    Hi @Badgermitt,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printing problem.

I understand that you use a HP Officejet 5740 e-all-in-one printer with a PC of Windows 8 and the printed text has black steaks through every few lines. I would like to help with that.

Black lines through the text is usually due to present an accumulation of debris around of the cartridge that can usually be solved by cleaning cartridges or ink. This can be done in the control panel of the printer.

Cleaning of the cartridges is discussed in this support material designed to be used with this problem - solve print quality problems.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

In fact, if it helps you to find a solution, please click on the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

    Thank you!

  • OfficeJet 6815 e All in One: 6815 Officejet print low quality on pc and high quality on devices

Purchased a new HP Officejet 8615 e All in One and finally got it working after hours of shyte with unistalls and reinstalls. Now it works, but it prints documents with best quality of my laptop, iphone, ipad, and acer. From the pc, it prints out horribly. Downloaded a software/driver full features and always bad impressions from the pc.

He is currently connected wireless. The printer test pages are all of good quality, all in colour. Scan doc says it all is green and works correctly.

Obviously, there is something missing on my pc...

    Any ideas would be useful.

    THX

Thanks for providing this information @MikeG7.

Yes, it sounds like a driver problem. You should have a lot more options at your disposal.

I checked online and the only available drivers are the base drivers. I suggest you update this driver to see if you have additional features that are available for the Windows XP computer.

In the windows printers and faxes, right-click the printer and then click printer properties.

    Click the Advanced tab.

    Click new driver.

    Next.

Select the HP Deskjet 990c printer, then continue the wizard.

    Apply the settings.

Check the print settings and try them and print them out to see if the quality is improved.

    Keep me posted! Thank you!
