  I recently bought a Mac Book Pro - Retina Display computer and it should have in the next few days. Before you go out and spend money on a scanner, for those who don't know, the newest Mac Book Pro (with the retina) do not have an optical drive.

  Try to reset the App Store:

  Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

  Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

• Software download for DCR - SX43 does not work

  I'm fighting for the PMB software for my camera. I've upgraded to a new computer & can't find my original disks of the camera.

  I have a DCR-SX43 camera & run Windows 7-64 bit OS.

  I tried several times to download the exe file which should install PMB on my new computer (SPUDownload Manager_1006b). The file doesn't cause a flicker of the brief screen & nothing seems to be installed when I check my programs list.

  In the end, I want to use the PMB56_Updater1105a.exe file I downloaded also update to the latest version of the software.

  There are other sources for the PMB software that may work properly? Maybe the tech staff could send me a copy of the software PMB I can use for the base install (before the update)?

  I am running Windows Vista and just bought the printer HP OfficeJet Pro 8600. I'm having a hell of a time with this printer and is seriously considering to go back if I can't get this figured out as soon as possible.

  When I open the software HP OfficeJet Pro 8600, open it from the main panel I double click on the 'Scanner Actions' button, then on the "Scan Document or Photo" button, nothing happens. I can not get the scanner software to open so that I can control my options of scan of the computer.

  Thus, starting from printer control box, when I go to scan, I am only able to "Scan to Network Folder" and can not scan to computer. The message I get is "computer is unavailable.

  I am able to "Scan to Network Folder" so I'm not too concerned about this issue, however, I have to be able to access the scanner software so that I can set my parameters of scanning etc. on my computer.

  I buy the device for the wireless. I could not access the software when you are connected wireless with so I tried to connect via USB. No difference what so ever.

  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software 4 times so far. 2 times since the CD and 2 times from the website of HP software.

  I recently bought and downloaded some barcode labeling software EPRN using Avangate. The software downloaded, but it will not activate with the key they sent to my email address. I spoke several times to their support staff and they assure me that they have tested the link and activation key and both work very well. But not to activate my version here in Botswana. I tried many times and I do not simple entry errors. The activation key will not work. I paid for the software, but I can't use it. I don't know if the problem may have something to do with the allocation of regional licensing or something like that, since I live in Botswana. Any ideas or advice?

  1. I have problems with my HP Pavilion zd8000 computer DVD - RW drive and make installed software (Sonic).

  2. my computer hardware is recognized.  Blank CD disc and DVD are also recognized, but free space and used space is listed as 0 bytes.  I was unable to make a backup of the computer using the default System Tools, backup program.  Blank disc have not been rewarded.

  3. the other problem is with the delivered Sonic software pre-installed on my computer.  My software could not open and I downloaded the software Sonic of HP Support Download Center Web site.  The software downloaded, but I got an installation location for error and installation asked for a disc before continuing the installation.  The installation failed.

  4. I plan to try to do a full backup of a computer and possibly try to install the software installed previously loaded using the F11 key; If the software actually out there.

  When you say "change settings in both accounts' exactly what are the parameters what do you mean?  It is normal that many Windows settings to be on a per user basis.  For example. the desktop background is a 'definition' which is completely independent for each user.  You cannot set up a wallpaper for a user and hope that it displays desktop of another user.

  2 have you tried to search for the file by using Windows Search?

  If you use Internet Explorer, you can find the files in the downloads folder.
  To access this file:
  a. Click Start and go to documents.
  in the documents, it is only a downloads folder.
  c. all downloaded files are located here.
  Note: once you start the download you get any save option in the default location. If you click Save as you will be asked to find the location where you want to save.
