HP Photosmart C6280 prints not Magenta or Light Magenta even with new ink cartridges.

Our HP Photosmart C6280 has always produced excellent results, but all of a sudden it won't print Magenta or Light Magenta, although they show of 75%.  We even tried to put in new ink cartridges, but they still does not print.

    I replaced the ink of color and black ink (364 cartridges). I have no error message or anything of what I see wrong. It is a wireless printer and when I print it always printed as ink cartridges are empty. Especially the black, when you're printing is a pinkish color.     When you installed the printer cartridge, did you remove the protective sticker on the cartridge? Sometimes people forget to remove this and install the cartridge.

    You can also run the troubleshooting of the printer.

    Open the printer Troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooting, and then click Troubleshooting. Under hardware and sound, click on use printer.

    Thanks to YouTube, I have set the printer. The screen under the black cartridge has been blocked. He just needs cleaning.

    HP Deskjet F2210 all in one.  Windows XP.  Error lights when you try printing and the paper light and ink lights are flashing simultaneously.  New ink cartridges are.  I have reset the computor several times.  Also removed the print operation to try again, but the error light does not now turn off so there is no operations waiting to be printed.

    recently bought a mac book pro with OS X 10.11 El Capitan. Attached is my old HP PSC 1400 for my print/scanning works. System is automatically downloaded and installed the driver. The scan function works well, but I was unable to make an impression.     Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! I see that you can not print printer HP PSC 1400 series, you have recently upgraded to El Capitan 10.11 Mac OS X, and you are able to scan. Your ink cartridges are half full.

    I see the printer must be installed using updates Apple, as there are no full software features and drivers available for the older model of printer, see here: install a printer Mac driver by using Apple Software Update

    Once you have installed completely, I wish you continue troubleshooting here: Missing, Faded or dull colors, when you print a test page the fact also come out blank?

    Once you complete the print quality paper you are now able to print? If you are unable to print, you may need to change the ink cartridges. Let me know the results, I'll watch for your reply.

  • Printer does not print after installing new ink cartridges

    I have a Lexmark X 2500 printer. After installing new print cartridges, the printer gives me the error message to order more ink. The printer does not recognize the new ink cartridges that have been installed.  There is a warning on the ink cartridges to do not touch the contacts on the bottom of the cartridges. If this happens, how can I make them work?

  • OfficeJet Pro 6830: Installed new ink cartridges on 6830, but they were not full

    I've been using this printer for about two years now, been through "Print head problem" for both, they exchanged once and replace only the part once.

    My ink colour C, M and there were emptied at the same time, so I ordered all three in an online store. I installed a few minutes ago and check the ink level via the touch screen of the printer. It turns out that they are not quite complete. They are almost full, C and are close to full, but M is less complete.

    I wonder why this happens? I never checked the ink level in the past, but it surprises me. The printer makes some kind of calibration and printhead cleaning to get ready installed ink? (So consumed little ink)

    I scanned the QR code on the side of boxes of ink and checked the hologram stickers and pretty sure that they are genuine. The printer also said that they are authentic.

    Here is the picture of my ink level. Shot after installation of the cartridge and nothing printed.

    Another strange thing is the date of installation. Now it is April 4 in my country but the web printer configuration page shows cartridge installation date is April 1! I checked the date and the printer and everything is OK.

    If the cartridges have been used before, the printer screen would show a message that cartridges have been used on another front printer. I saw only me because I kept the old ink before trading in the past as I said up there.

    Everyone knows what happened? Or it's normal? (The packaging and seal in plastic cartridges seemed fine, nothing suspected weird)

    I came across your post about the concerns that you have with the help of your new ink cartridges and I wanted to share my own suggestions. The date being out for a few days is a bit strange, but the rest seems normal. Yes, when you install the cartridges, they are calibrated and alignment and clean, that uses a bit of ink. The levels that you see are also "estimated" levels If there are print quality problems or error messages, let me know and I'll do my best to help.

    I inherited a printer HP Deskjet 3070, which has already been used. I bought new ink cartridges, but when trying to install these has received the error message that I need to use the cartridges of the establishment to assess the ink levels and once this is done can change for the new cartridges.

    Unfortunately, the printer cartridges comes with do not seem to be setting up those and now the printer accept the original or the new.

    Does anyone know how I can go forward - it doesn't seem to be any problem with the printer?

    This is caused by the failure of one of your cartridges.  I don't know if supports Officejet 6110 print reserve mode, but try the following: remove the black print cartridge and print a test page.  The printer prints at a normal speed?  Is therefore the black cartridge was the issue and needs to be replaced.  If it isn't then, put the black back cartridge in and remove the color cartridge and the test page printed.  If the printer now prints speed the color cartridge is responsible and must be replaced.

    I installed new ink cartridges. It prints well but I can't access the printer on the computer action tab. I can't check ink levels, align the pages or check on maintenance. When I click on the folder of the printer it opens but it says it's searching for items. The printer of action file is not there. Anyone know what could cause this? I can't open the Toolbox of the product. What I have to reinstall the printer software, or is there something else I can do to fix this. I have windows 7 and a 3000 deskjet printer. Thank you.

    The question most likley do not have much to do with the replacement of the ink cartridge.

    Lately, HP has released a new software, due to the latest MS updates, you must update the software to get all the features.

    Go to start > programs > HP > select your printer folder and follow uninstall them.

    Now, download and install the new version of the software from here:
