HP Photosmart D7360

I'm working on a Photosmart D7360 printer.  'Training' rollers do not turn for the supply of paper for printing.  When you try to print a test page, no paper is 'loaded '.  Finally, the error returns "on paper", even though a large paper is in the tray.

Any advice/suggestions are appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Taking roll can be released.  There are a few things to try before you look for in a replacement.  First follow step 3 in the section Solution 2 in this paper to clean the printer rollers.  If your still having the problem, try to do a hard reset to clear the glitches in the firmware that could be the cause.

To do a hard reset:

  1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.
  2. Pull out the power cord from the printer.
  3. Pull out the power cord from the wall.
  4. Wait 30 seconds.
  5. Plug everything up and turn on the printer.
  6. See if it will print.

That's all you can do.  If it still doesn't work after the hard reset, you will need to replace the printer.

  • is the driver for win 8 for the printer photosmart D7360 RGB or CMYK?

    Hello

I'll use Lightroom 4.2 (under win 8 64) and will have calibrated the monitor and the printer (HP Photosmart D7360) by colormunki photo.

When the printer profile is generated by colormunki, according to the real printer driver, they will be RGB or CMYK profile.  Apparently, 4.2 LR will only show printer profiles to use if the printer driver is of type RGB.  So if it's CMYK, I would not be able to use the printing profile in LR.

Is someone can you please tell me if this printer driver is RGB or CMYK?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Kind regards

The pilot waiting for RGB data.  The real color in the printer inks use CMYK, but managed by the driver, applications need to send RGB data to the driver.

  • HP Photosmart D7360 ink system failure error: 0xc18a0206

I tried to print a doc then do not use this printer for over a year. The ink system failure message appeared when I turned on the printer, so I replaced all the old cartridges with new ones. The message persists, and I can not print even a sample or Test page. My page to print remains in the queue. I tried to reset several times with the method of disposal of recommended power cord. Always with the same result, ink system failure error: 0xc18a0206. This machine is maybe just too old. After spending over $ 100.00 on new cartridges that would be very disappointing. I use a Sony Vaio under Windows 7 Home Premium laptop, but since I can't print a test or sample, according to me, that question must be in the printer.  I'm holding off on the sledge hammer method for now. Help, please.

    Hey hphippie,

I see that you are faced with an ink system failure error code on your Photosmart D7360.  Looks like that sitting for a while can be brought to shame in the printer.  I recommend following the steps outlined in the document below link for troubleshooting an ink system failure error code.

An alphanumeric Code (example: ' 0 x 'r' C2...) ") or 'Ink system failure' Error Message is displayed on the front panel when printing

  • Two printers HP Photosmart D7360 print suddenly all green!

I have a HP Photosmart D7360. My husband has one too. We bought at the same time over 2.5 years. Mine worked fine until yesterday, when he began to print everything with a green tint. I did all the HP site and forums suggest, clean the print head, installed all new HP Vivera cartridges, and I use HP paper too (always did that). Always green printing. To exclude a hardware problem, I removed the printer from my computer, uninstalled all the software, etc., then hung and installed the printer from my husband. Hers is too green print on my computer. Two printers print perfectly on his computer. Obviously, the problem isn't with the printers but with a setting or something like on my computer. I tried everything, different applications of printing, different settings, no solution. The only thing I did is "calibrate the color" - because I don't have this option! I click on the HP, then the printer Toolbox Solution Center, but it gives me only four options: to clean the print head, in order to align the printer, to print a diagnostic page, and print a test page. NO 'calibrate color"everywhere there... Please, help me, I'm at my wits end with! Thank you!

    UPDATE:

I think that this problem is caused by a defective paper. I bought a new pack, the first two pages came out very well, so - same story once again, all green. There is no problem when I print other documents (plain of HP, HP Everyday, Kodak Ultra Premium and Epson photo paper).

I'm really upset about it. I know defective paper has guaranteed and can be replaced. but who will replace the ink of this time and constly? Where is the quality control?

  • Photosmart D7360 suddenly doesn't recognize my network

I have my Photosmart D7360 connected to my desktop pc, and I am running wireless, through a FIOS router to my laptop.  Everything worked fine, until today.  Suddenly, my laptop cannot send a print job on my printer.  It appears as queued on my pc, even if it shows itself as being sent on the laptop.  Printer sharing are enabled, with the same name of the printer by default on both PCs.  I hope that someone will have an idea.  Thank you.

Sometimes I feel as if I have gremlins in my computer.  Yesterday, several times, I tried a reboot to see if it will prepare the icon, with no luck.  At the end of the day, I stop the pc.  This morning, I start it upward, and the icon has disappeared.  I don't know what fixed it, but its running OK now.  Thank you.

  • Is it possible to replace an empty cartridge on the Photosmart D7360?

I have things that I want to print that requires only the black ink, but my printer says that I "can't" print anything about this until I have replaced the yellow cartridge empty. Everywhere is closed and I REALLY need this kind of thing printed for tomorrow, so I can't wait just to get a new cartridge. This must be completed NOW. Is it possible to replace it? I tried selecting the option 'only use black ink' to print, but it is still saying that there is nothing to print without replacing the empty yellow cartridge. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

I'm afraid you won't be able to work around this error.

The specific printer includes an internal printhead accessory. print with a missing ink cartridge can damage the print head and so the device will likely allow to bypass this error.

Under certain conditions the front panel you can continue printing. If the screen does not give you an option to ignore the error, it is necessary to replace the ink cartridge.

You can find than that listed in the user manual to the title of the page 53

    Error message: Cannot print
Solution The indicated ink cartridge(s) are out of ink.
Replace the indicated ink cartridge(s) immediately so that you can resume printing.
The HP Photosmart printer printer cannot continue printing until the indicated ink cartridge(s) are replaced. All printing will stop.

    Kind regards

  • Printer HP Photosmart D7360

I suddenly lost the use of the touch screen.  It shows that I need to replace a cartridge, but when I press 'NEXT', to display levels of the cartridges, nothing happens.  The printer still prints, but I have no control using the touchscreen.  I'd like to be able to check the levels of the cartridge, so I can determine which becomes low.  Suggestions as to what is happening and what I can do to remedy the problem, or do I have to trash it and buy a new printer?

Powered on, unplug the printer for 10 minutes.  Now plug it back.  Status?

  • My computer freezes when I turn off the printer. HP D7360, Windows Desktop.Photosmart 7

When I turn my printer off the computer crashes.  HP desktop computer.  Windows 7.  Photosmart D7360.

    I reinstalled the drivers.

Have you tried a different usb cable? It could be that the usb cable is grounded on which could be a short circuit in the usb cable, or the printer port. Although it is also possible that this is the USB controller on the motherboard of your computer to try another cable is fixed not try with another computer if possible. If the other computer does not have any problems, then it's HP desktop computer. When you do that, you are out of my field of expertise friend . (In other words, if this does not work, try your luck on the forums of office or by calling the 1-800-474-6836)

    I hope this helps!

  • D7360 does not print in "Black Only", unless the color cartridges are also not empty

I try to print a document in grayscale mode with Photosmart D7360 printer.

In the Print Setup dialog explicitly checks the possibility of using 'Black Print Cartridge Only'.

The printer refuses to print, in saying:

«The following ink cartridges are empty: Light Cyan.» Replace the ink cartridges to resume printing.

"The printer doesn't have enough ink to ensure printer health. Empty ink cartridges need to be replaced to resume. »

This means that even if it does not use the color cartridges, each of them must be non-empty when the printer is in operation?

    http://www.FixYa.com/support/t599615-hp_photosmart_d7460_problem

I got the error code Oxc18a0001 on my HP Photosmart D7260 printer.  I was able to clear the error code and get the printer working again by resetting the printer by pressing the "red eye removal" buttons and "print photos" together that I turned on the power.  I took out the "red eye removal" buttons and "print photos" when the printer is presented a menu that had an option of reset in it.  I used the touch screen and reset a Mohammed and Semi.  It did not offer that a 3rd reset option which was a country / language that was not needed by me right now.  After completing the two reset options the printer printed a test without my guest page there.  The end of the test page I used the power button to turn the printer off and then I enabled again and I was then able to use the printer as usual.  This is not the first time that I had this problem.  It is about the 4th to 6th.  It took me a while to understand this reset procedure and it was after long way to play on everyone and their problems.  I hope this post could help simplify the process for someone out there suffering from this problem as I was.  Hope this information is useful.

  • D7360 asks to install the disc

Whenever my PC wakes from sleep, hibernation or start I wonder for the boot disk for the Photosmart D7360.

I've installed, uninstalled, followed all the instructions that I can find and always wonder for the installation disc. I talked to

customer support nothing done and I was told that my Vista Ultimate 32 was not compatible with the D7360 printer. However

I bought it only because it was announced to be compatible. I have the record to prove it. I downloaded the? Update?

software and installed again and again. I found that if I simply cancel the installation when asked for disk 3 times

It is installed, but I'm tired of waiting that screens pop up, so I can cancel. Anyone has any suggestions or

should I chunk it and my G3010 scanner and get a new one. Your answers are welcome.  Thank you

    Thank you katskin11

HP made contact with me. The cleanup utility does not solve the problem. I had to uninstall everything HP top, and then reinstall the printer and

scanner. After several cleanings and uninstall, reinstall, and using the software download site, I eventially printer and scanner operation.

Email support really helped to solve the problem.

    Hello

I have already heard this with avery paper, I thibnk its caused by the mark on the paper, if I remember correctly a blue logo on the top of the paper. Try this as a test, cover the blue logo with a thin strip of white paper, so stick on or cover it with Type-ex.

  • computer is not new ink printer reg.

I have a D7300 HP.  Magenta ink was low so I replaced it.  The printer recognize the new ink but when I try to print my laptop only let me print with black as the magenta must be replaced

Quote your version of Windows when you post.  Since your post is off-topic in the comment forum, I moved it to the windows 'Hardware and drivers' forum.

    Is your printer a Photosmart D7360, a D7363 or a D7368?

This would not be a Windows problem.  Instead, it is a cartridge, a printer, or a driver problem.  Chip in the cartridge has to work, the printer must feel that the ink level is good (according to what the cartridge chip it said) and then the printer must indicate to the driver that the cartridge is good.  Windows doesn't know or doesn't care.  If this problem happened to me, I contact HP technical support or post in the forums of HP (http://h30434.www3.hp.com/psg/?category.id=InkJet).  8 and 9 may 2013 are days 'HP Expert' in the forums.  HP support staff will follow and participate in the forums these days.  It might be appropriate to ask here.
