HP s5610f PC

My HP s5610f PC no signal video past to my monitor (the VGA connection). Can I connect the monitor to the DVI using a VGA to DVI? What DVI model is necessary? My hope is that the DVI output has independent circuits of the VGA plug circuitry that may be defective. By connecting to the DVI Jack, I can be able to bypass the default.

I'm not trying extreme remedies for any problem.  I found cause them more problems than they solve.

Here is the original driver for the video.  Try to install to see if it helps.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline computer Office S5610F - drivers Windows XP

    Hello HP Forum,

My father recently bought a HP Pavilion Slimline S5610F desktop, refurbished and wants that I format and install Windows XP. I was wondering if this is possible? In the past, I have sought answers from this forum and have always made to answers and help I've gotten. I know that it is already harder to find drivers with my Compaq a few years ago, so I can only imagine that XP drivers are still harder to find now.

Thank you in advance to help you with this matter.

    Hi, Stéphane:

Sorry, none of these drivers were working. I took a bet on them being identical to that of a PC HP Pro 3125 which had the same chipset.

Try the driver for chipset southbridge AMD from AMD (first listed file).

  • s5610f: computer does not recognize the download speed of 200 Mbps.

I've updated from Time warner to 200 Mbps cable. The computer will not more then 70mbps. TWCable technology said that it is the computer and not the router because he checked with his instrument and it gets 212mbps. I called hp support and I'm not the warranty.  Anyone who has had the same problem and solved, please let me know. Thank you

Anyone that tells you all you need is a few adjustments of parameters just smoke breath.  None of those you noted or both, that I linked will provide Gigabit Ethernet, which is what you need.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s5610f, Win 7 64 bit, replace DH-16ABLH-HT2 optical drive?

I was looking to replace my optical drive, as it is extremely slow for some reason any (ran the NERO disc speed test) but during the inspection, according to me, he has a connector 3rd for the external power button that only appears on readers I looked today at BB.

Is this an exclusive car, or I will be able to find one with this extra power connection?

    Hitzy, welcome to the forum.

The extra connector is for the button to eject optical drive. Here is a guide to help you identify the connectors.  I am not sure that you will find the connector on other brands.  It may be better to buy another drive to HP.

  • Location of BIOS jumper battery, HP s5610f PC

My PC HPs5610f did not have a signal (no video to monitor) at startup. I disassembled the PC to remove and replace the BIOS battery to attempt recovery. It worked. After a period of inactivity of several weeks, I once have now no signal on the screen when you attempt to start. Passing by the similar battery removal/replacement procedure may or may not succeed, but I guess that's. Why is that happen? is there a CMOS Jumber on this computer in order to avoid the complete disassembly to access the battery? Is there a replacement start-up procedure (for example, the keyboard entries) to clear the problem?

    Help me someone, HB

    Hello

You will find the jumpers CMOS by the SATA ports on the motherboard.  See the image below.

    Hello

Please find the specifications for your PC below:

This shows that there are 2 slots "PCI Express x 1', which means that you can buy a card 'Low profile FireWire IEEE PCIe x 1'. You can check with radio shack, best buy credit another store that sells computer products.

Example: The low given the link is a normal turn but your computer is a Slimline its requires a low profile card.

  • The specific power cord for my Pavillion Slimline can I or can I use any 3 components?

Sorry for the long cuff links in the title. I was wondering if I need a specific power cord or if I can use any string to 3 old shutters. Also have cords in the HP store? I had a devil of a time trying to find it. The computer is a Pavilion Slimline s5610f. Thanks from a newbie on the HP forums!

    Hello

Did you buy your machine from another country? I can't believe this, HP provides no USB cable on some printers and now without power cord for a PC. Even in many countries of the third world, they still have rules on the power cords and normal for a country power cords should be allowed to use on devices sold in this country. Have you checked the box, the store where you purchased the machine (if local) must provide a power supply for you.

    Kind regards.

  • Update map Graffic

I have a Slimline s5610f HP that has a card ATI Radeon 3000 graffics inside. (Processor AMD Athlon IIX2 250 with 3 GB of memory running Windows 7) The graffics card does not work most of the recent games, so I would like to upgrade. What are my options without having to spend anything else, like food? Thanks for your help.

    Blenkers1, welcome to the forum.

The truth is, models Slimline are not intended to be upgraded.  The small boxes do not allow for good air circulation.  Thus, especially for games, they become extremely hot.  Heat is your enemy.  I just don't like to recommend improvements.  The cards that would go with the power supply (PSU) will be much better than the integrated video.  I know that's not what you wanted to hear.  However, it's better than spending money and be disappointed.
