HP wireless button Driver

I got a Notification recommending a download for my computer called HP wireless button Driver.  I tried several times to download.  Each time, after about two hours of waiting, he continues to say that it is downloading.  Every time at this point, I have finished the download.  I do not know what as a driver 'button' is/does, so I probably don't need.  If I do, it should be easier than this.  I would like to especially, get rid of the "yellow!" on my HP? This procedure should be made easier.   Any help would be appreciated.

Hello:

See if it works for you.  I just tried it on my PC and have downloaded in less than 7 seconds.

I think this driver to turn airplane mode on and outside using the button rather than the software in W8.1.

I would really appreciate some help here. Recently, I did a factory rest on my laptop dv7 HP Envy but can't reinstall Windows 10.

For some reason, I am unable to install the driver of HP wireless button. Whenever I try to download through Windows Update in Control Panel, it downloads and after installation displays an error code 80070436.

I am unable to get this driver installed and therefore cannot be updated to Windows 8.1. I tried to update to 8.1 without the driver, but my laptop is restarted it got stuck at 82%.

I would be grateful if someone could give me some advice or help get this sort I seem to keep hitting a brick wall.

    Thank you very much

    Ian :-)

    You are the very welcome.

You will be able to install W10 directly without the need to spend any other OS.

I did it several times already, so I know it works.

Twice on nine discs in a solid state on laptops that had previously been W10 on the old mechanical hard disks.

Another question, I guess, it's to do with missing drivers is that the wireless button does not seem to be fuctioning. It's just stuck on the orange light and when I press nothing happens.

Thank you for your help in advance.

    -Power supply

    You are the very welcome.

See if this hotkey software allows you to do.

The case and the wireless works, unfortunately I do not know how to get this to work.

Normally if the driver for the wireless card is installed, which allows you to turn the wireless on and off using the button (or Fn key).

  • Wireless button remains orange. Lights on.

Hi there, I'm having some problems with my laptop recently. The wireless won't turn on no and stays out of little matter how many times I press the button of the wireless switch which is above the keyboard, remaining always this color orange relics indicating that the wireless is disabled.

Number and name of the product: Compaq Presario CQ50-215 - 215 CA

Operating system: Windows Vista 32 - bit OEM

(As appropriate) error message : error no. a little. First time I press the wireless button, the popup Assistant wireless HP says "WLAN: Off '. I have a second time and wrote "WLAN: Disabled" and the cycle repeats when I press on it a bunch of times.

Any changes made to your system before the issue occurred: that's what I think the problem is a few days before my wireless doesn't work anymore, I had my battery disconnected and just running off the AC adapter. My father accidentally disconnected my AC while it was spend vacuuming the living room. At the STATION, I got a cmos checksum error message. Computer started normally with an incorrect time/date in the bios, but at the time when internet was still functioning. Fast forward to a few days later, my wireless and then stops working.

    Other info/Thins, I tried

-J' I goto manage network connections-> there is a red x on my wireless network connection icon but on click right he said he his 'active' with only the option to disable. Click on diagnose and he said: "on this computer's wireless capability is turned off."

-J' I goto the Atheros AR5007 802. 11 b / g WiFi adapter properties screen and the device status says "this device is working properly.

-I go into the Device Manager and theres no "!" or whatever it is on my network cards.

-Tried to get into the bios and see if there was something on my adapter wireless that has been disabled, but the only thing I could find was an option in the boot order allowing to map internal network starts when the laptop starts. Tried to activate / deactivate options, and nothing really happened.

-I can still take an ethernet cable and I work ok on my Wired internet.

-Tried to uninstall the driver/restart the computer. Upon restart, it reinstalled the drivers but the wireless still won't turn.

At this point, for me, it seems that it is a hardware problem and kinda outta luck. Had this laptop about 3 years and a little really need yet for the school. Can anyone suggest what I can still check/fix?

try to reinstall your wireless card... thiscould help to make...

  • Pavilion DV7-1451nr: Wireless button stays amber

My pavilion dv7-1451nr turns wireless keyboard blue when I have to reset the motherboard by removing the battery and press the power button / stop seconds, after which I plug in charger to him while leaving the battery and press the power button / stop. After that, I would like to press f10 to enter the bios setup, then I would like to load the defaults, save and exit.

After doing all that I have explained above, the wireless button becomes blue and wireless assistant would be activated and indicates that the wireless is turned on. If I check in the Device Manager, I see the hardware details and driver wireless populated it and everything should work fine, but once I restart the computer, the wireless button would refuse to start. There is orange. If I try to check the State of the material status and driver WLAN on Device Manager, they would be is more filled it more and wireless assistant will refuse to start. If by chance he started, this would indicate that the wireless is turned off by the Device Manager.

I had tried uninstalling the wireless LAN driver and reinstalled just in case the problem came from the software side but not solution. Just this afternoon, I have decoupled from the computer and removed the card WLAN, dusted it and replace it back, but the problem persists.

The type of wireless network card is Atheros AR5007 802.11 b/g WiFi adapter. I noticed something this afternoon, however, after having checked the service manual for the computer, I realized that there is specific types of the wireless card compatible for specific regions. For example, the number of appropriate wlan spare parts which must be on my computer is 582564-002 and have this with references with the number of spare part of wlan on the wireless card available on my computer that begins with sps 452..., I realized something was wrong. I'll leave that to stop you guys from HP, but I really need a solution to this problem very fast because it's really annoying me. Thank you.

    Hello @LL_Cool_J,

    Thanks for the information!

I don't know what you mean, when he asked if the model is 50xx or 40xx. Confirming the WLAN Module is a little difficult, because there are several manuals maintenance for this model.  I was able to refine the selection a bit, by comparing the numbers of spare part for hard drives.  Based on this REPAIR, the WLAN Modules you have listed, 582564-002, 593836-001, must be compatible.  However, I don't see the Atheros as option in this manual.  To be on the safe side, you can contact our telephone support HP.  Please use the following http://www.hp.com/contacthp and create a folder for your question and contact HP. • Re: Satellite C660 - 1 CL-wireless button do not work running 8.1 Win

    Hello

my wireless button does not work. I have windows installed 8.1,
I have vap and installed flash cards and still does not.

    Any suggestion?

As much as I know the Satellite C660 can't win 8.1
This means that the drivers and Toshiba tools are not released to win 8.1.
I think you can use Win 8.1 but be aware that there is no guarantee that you can use all the features of the special specifications.

    > I have vap and installed flash cards and still does not.
I doubt that this is correct since VAP don t exist to win 8.1
Toshiba system driver is the successor of the VAP in case you use Win 8.1

However, try to install the driver of Toshiba and Toshiba function Key Utility system to win 8.1
You can download this software that has been released for other series like Sat C870 for example.

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. It's a great site for information and questions. I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook dv6-7000 and issues with the F12 key after and 8.1 of Windows upgrade. This is a link toHP Quick Launch software. It is under Software Solutions on your driver page.

It will help with the F12 key.

  • Problem with Y550 Wireless: Wireless button does nothing

Got this Y550 (used), a few days ago. When I got there, the wifi worked well. Then it stopped working, I reinstalled Windows 7 (Lenovo recovery CD), then every time I turn on the wireless button, it just does nothing. No wifi signal, it's like a dummy button. Here's what I've tried so far:

    1) updated the driver and BIOS (Intel Wifi link 5100 AGN)

    (2) for configuration towards the top of my network and sharing Center, and whenever I tried troubleshooting, it says 'enable wireless function '.

It's as if everything doesn't work anymore. The laptop says stil it's under warranty, but I don't know if I can do anything with the guarantee (second user).

My other lenovo G550 has the same problem. But it is always connected to the wired router, but still, I would like to know what is the problem and how to fix them. I searched the forum for Y550 wireless problem, but has not really helped. Should I change the wireless card, on each of them? Thanks in advance

I have a Sleekbook and yesterday the button Wireless 'stuck' on amber. I can press it repeatedly and it takes more just my laptop in and out of the plane.  I rebooted, reset the default BIOS settings (who worked the first few times, but not working now), I've updated the driver for the wireless adapter, the wireless switch driver and the network driver - which did not help. Check the support site HP for this PC, downloaded and installed the driver wireless Win8 button (sp59835) and it does not work. Button LED stays red.

Searched these forums and found another driver (sp64043) from the button for Win10 wireless driver and installed it.  Still does not work.

    Information on equipment is: ACPI\HPQ6001\2 & daba3ff & 0

Unless I can get the wireless button to work, I'll be forced to go back to Win7.

UPDATED - so others find this post know what works!

    Restored image backup Win7.

Disconnected the LAN cable and activated the wireless button.

Win7 removed and properly installed Win10.

    Wireless button works NOW!

So basically, if the wireless is turned off before the Win10 install, it remains disabled and then nothing will allow it.
