• Failure of HP4500 scan wireless all-in-one

  HP4500 all-in-one wireless worked fine for about 6 months.  Now when I turn it on I get a message saying "Scanner".

  Tried once more to do a reset.  Still no luck with the scanner.  Looks like it's really a hardware problem.  Call the sipport line.  printer was purchased 01/20/12, so it should still be in warranty.

  I solved this problem myself by clicking the Apple icon, go to recent items, approx. arrives at 4500 HPofficejet.  Click on that and then click Analyzer, nec flat, letter U.S. digitization to: Documents (this is preset)

  Click Scan, and it worked.

Load disc for printer setup and get message to leave.  HP 4500 is on my desk, but can not enter the properties for scanning.  I need to be able to scan from glass.  I am a novice in the world of the pc so please keep it simple.

  My HP Officejet 4500 wireless printer does not print every 3rd line of a MS word or pdf document.  I cleaned and replaced ink cartridges with no luck.  I downloaded printing & scanning HP doctor, but he finds everything agree & printed a page of test very well.  My laptop is Win 7 Enterprise 64-bit and I connect via USB cable to the printer HP4500.  This started happening about 3 months ago or not.

  Some things print correctly.  However, the windows test page prints not top of letters on certain lines.  HP4500 test page was printing fine, but today that she also does not print the top of letters on every 3rd line looks like now.

  I had to clean the print head, but I couldn't understand where it was (and it was not an option of Toolbox). However, I found online that I could clean the print cartridge (no contacts) with alcohol and water on a Q-Tip. I noticed that the black cartridge had a smear of ink where the color, there is not then I removed with a couple of q-tips in the solution and let it dry. I also read online to draw power without stopping. After having done these two things, my printer is no longer skip lines or cut the top of the lines.

  I would like to know exactly what model of printer you have. Look at the label on the back of the printer for the complete model number.

  Otherwise, Choose your model from this link. Click on your model. Click on drivers and select Windows 7 to the operating system. Download the full feature software and driver.

  I need to replace a HP 6210 with a HP4500. The power cord from the HP 6210 has been connected on the system and I don't want to replace the cord that goes to food AC\DC (so no new connections to do). Can anyone confirm that the connection of the power supply cable is the same for both of these models?

  I can confirm that the power cord for these units are not the same.

  The 6210 is a much older printer with a maximum consumption of 60 watts.

  Voltage 100 to 240 VAC (+/-10%), 50/60 Hz (+/-3 Hz)

  "Telstra modem" is far too vague.  Please provide the exact model.

  Your product has not come with a manual Installation Guide and getting started ? You have a specific problem?

  Your HP 4500 fax component must connect to a regular telephone line (not an Internet phone).  Because you have a phone with answering machine, you'll probably want to buy a fax switch so that your answering machine pick up incoming fax calls and vice versa.  There are several different types of these devices, so you will have to do a little research.  If your telephone company offers "distinctive ring" service (two phone numbers on one physical line), you can configure fax to detect such type of ringtone.  Otherwise, you will need to find a camera that responds automatically and switches to the fax if it detects fax negotiation tones. Or order a second phone line.

  Scanner printer parts (and) your HP 4500 can be connected to your PC, either via a cable USB or - if your "router" is also a modem - using an Ethernet network cable.  If you decide to start with a USB connection, make sure to install the software from the CD that came with it before connecting the USB cable.

  I just reset the app data.  Do it open the ePrint mobile app in the selection parameters top right corner which is a symbol of a wheel or gear scroll down select Reset app data.  Now, you should get an option to activate app.

  Have you downloaded the above file and run it on your computer. When to choose USB, it will ask you to plug the cable in and phllow education. Forget the poster for this installation. Very simple.

  I see by your post that when scanning, they come out all black. You also receive a message that the paper is on the scanner bed where there is none.  I can help you with this.

  I have provided a document to make a reset of the printer, the scanner, the lid and ADF glass cleaning.

  Reset will most likely solved the problem. Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  Vertical stripes, lines or streaks on Copies, faxes or scans.

  Do not take into account the title.

  If the problem persists, please update the firmware of the printer. HP Officejet 4500 All - in - One Printer - drivers G510g.

• Center of solution error at startup - HP4500 wireless

  HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909g

  Win 7, 64 bit, Intel Dual Core

  Error at startup of the solution center 'Solution Center cannot work because your installation is not complete.  "Please plug in USB (I am running wireless) or restart the installation of the CD.

  Both software & printer worked very well for a long time.  To reinstall the software (yet) as 8500 disappeared from ground Ctr.  Removed all HP using HP uninstall disk, and then click Add/Remove programs.  Restarted the modem and printer.  Install and the latest version of the downloaded software went well.  8500 wireless recognized installation is complete, test page print wireless.  At the exit did not restart. Tried to ground Ctr and above got the error at startup.  I rebooted.  The same problem.  Then, I removed all and tried again with the same result.  HP printers are great - the software I used (in addition to time & different HP printers) makes me absolutely crazy!

  Hey Sherich - Id suggest giving the utility Install of Windows 7 to try first and then the doctor of printing & scanning HP. They can be found here: Hp Diagnostic utility's

  Let me know if or the other of these tools are able to solve the problem. Otherwise post returns with all new details or error messages, and we can go from there.
