HP8500 (A910a) CYAN AND GREEN PRINT STRIPS WHITE

Printer diagnosis shows that it is defective print heads. Check the head of cyan/magenta, I see EI out really filthy cyan nozzles. I can clean these, or do I have to replace the print heads? I soee some notes here I clean with SOAP and water. Really? How long to soak?  What kind of SOAP?

Yes, you can clean the print heads. Here is a link that will show you this process for your printer model. Cleaning with SOAP and water may void the warranty and soaking the print head that is there in the forums is designed for printers with another type of printhead. I would check the warranty on the print head before trying any other cleanup beyond that in the link above. The end of warranty date must be placed on the sticker of the print head.

  • Blue and green vertical stripes on the screen

    Hello!

My laptop (about 2.5 years lol) overheated and then stop. When I tried to reboot, I get blue and green vertical stripes running through the screen (instead of the part of connection appears) and then the screen turns black.

It works fine in Safe Mode and when I tried running a Ubuntu Live CD, it starts and the colors were very good and there is no odd scratches. It seems that I only get scratches when I try to start in Windows, in normal mode.

I hooked another monitor and got the same lines across the screen, so I guess that is not a problem of display... I tried to reinstall the nvidia driver which I redownloaded the Toshiba site, while I was in safe mode, but it still does not.

    Can someone help me, please?

    > I have hooked to another monitor and got the same order of ideas that cross the screen, so I guess that it is not a screen problem
It is of course graphics card problem and it should be replaced. :(

  • OfficeJet Pro X576dw': HP Officejet Pro X576dw print stripe, white stripe in the middle of the page

Thus we carried this great printer at our office in one of our customers who got this a month or two before, because he started printing a thick blank tape in the middle of each page.  We tried all of the solutions found on the console of the printer, including the 3rd stage of the print head cleaning utility.  Nothing seems to make a difference.  We took a glance at the printer, but it doesn't appear immediately be repaired by the user unless it is cube-esque method some rubik performing some kind of repair.  We have started a case on the case manager of HP, 5 hours ago, but thought I could get some tips over while I wait.

The same white streak shows up also on the page "print head cleaning? If so, the needs of the printer repaired, you did the right thing to prosecute.

What impression the demo page only the apears cyan and magenta.

    Any thoughts would be nice.

It pains me to say it, but the problem was with the gartidges. I changed with new ones and the printer is fine.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro K5400 print is Cyan and yellow all of a sudden. Help, please...

OfficeJet Pro K5400 Cyan and yellow just stopped working at the same time (very strange).  I have read almost every post and tried almost everything including diagnostic tests that show that all is well (via the keys on the printer), test and all the other available tests in the manual of HP cleaning several times.  The diagnostic test shows no problem and brand new and full cartridges to max.  However the diagnostic characters shows that black and Magenta, but no Cyan, yellow or any other color.  I took out the printheads, cleaned connectors, soak the heads and everything else you can imagine and not luck. I need to have finished the power and "hard reset" on a dozen times.  I can't imagine that two printhead (cyan on a yellow on the other) has just decided to die at the same time.  I can't be driver/software related because I did the tests directly from the printer.  The only thing I can think is maybe cyan and yellow parched when I took out the cartridges at staples with me to reference.  All cartridges have been taken out of the printer for 2 weeks or more.  Any thoughts?

Ouch - two weeks with the cartridges removed probably allowed 'plumbing' between the cartridges and printer to dry and clog.  If the print head and cartridges were never removed and it is also possible for the tubes to drain and air to block channels of ink.

You tried to clean the printhead a couple of times, I suggest three levels of cleaning in the sequence of head running.  Each level of cleaning up to three will be a more energetic cleaning.  You have probably already found the Troubleshooting page here.

Scroll down this page and click on the + to expand the Windows section, then scroll down to the section on executing a cleaning of the Control Panel, click on the +.  It is said:
  • HP8500 A910a scan to PDF

We have a HP8500 A910a and use Windows 7.  When I scan to PDF, it scans but I only have a white screen when I look in the documents. I have already run the 'doctor' of HP app, and it shows no problem. Help!

I really hope that I can help you, but I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by a blank screen in the documents.  When you scan in a document, all that scans is that a white page is that correct?  I guess that's what you mean.  First step is to make a color copy to ensure the proper functioning of the scanner glass (this will tell me if it's a computer or a printer problem).  Make sure the image you want to scan is face down on the glass and press "Copy" on the printer.  That print correctly?  If so, then how the printer is connected to the computer?  I need to know how it's connected in order to help you more (e.g. USB, ethernet or wireless).  After a successful copy try the scan again and let me know if you receive any error messages.  Otherwise, I don't want to seem 'smart' here but is the document face down on the glass?  If you are unsure, make a copy of a document that was printed on both sides and tell me how it goes.

  • HP 6700 and CMYK printing colors

    Greetings

I have a Dell laptop with Core i7, Windows 7. I designed a logo with the red and the black. The color of the design was derived from the RGB palette in paint. When it prints on my color inkjet HP 6700 the black color is fine, red, however, seems to have too much blue in there.  but because the printer's CMYK how can I fix it? I realize color is extremely complex, when you have a screen with its ability to color, RGB in a program and the printer CMYK. One of the websites that allows you to convert to CMYK RGB indicated 0 (255) green red and blue 0 equals 1 Magenta and 1 yellow with cyan 0. Is there a way to control the printer?

    Kind regards

    Dave

    Hi DaveABear,

This isn't my area of expertise, but your question was very interesting for me.

I did some research and found that Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design all the presets for the conversion of RGB to CMYK, dealing with the differences in the range of colors offered by each offer.

Click HERE for a link to the web site for more information and instructions on how to convert RGB to CMYK files.

    I hope this helps!

  • HP C6280: Lieutenant cyan and impression both on the Diagnostics Page HPC6280 cyan

I was getting reddish color, I'm trying to print black text where there are also a few areas of blue on the page text.  I know that the black cartridge is OK because I can put the printer to print only from the black cartrdige, and it comes out nice and black.  I put this setting back to normal.  So, I go to my tools and print a Diagnostics Page.  It prints 6 blocks from the color cartridge, but something is wrong!  Lt. Cyan print by resemble dark Cyan and prints resembling lieutenant Cyan Cyan!   The cartridges are all correctly inserted.  Also, all the other good color solid up printing block, but the block of color Cyan white lines through it.

I have the drivers from the HP C6200 series since 2009 and are close to the more recent, if not later.

I guess an uninstall of the complete driver and reinstall is in order.  It could not be mechanical, could it?

The attached picture was taken with a flash, I assure you that the Lt Cyan is a deep blue.  Note the white lines on the block of color Cyan.

    Just a follow-up:

After this HP C6280 to a repair shop to printer with high on Yelp ratings, the tech told me that the print head is no longer available (which is true) and that he cannot do a lot with it.  However, he told me he got all the blocks of color print properly, but said that black was spit or something, I never noticed.  Long story short, I'm going to pick it up and he says he will be happy to remove my hands which was nice of him, but I declined his offer and told him that I would use it as a copier and scanner, a printer in B & W.  There are no fees for his attempt to solve the problem, which was nice.

I go home and print the most beautiful photos of brilliant!  Perfect colors. I ask him what he did, maybe just replace the free cartridges (they sometimes do, and why they get high marks).

Repair tech almost got a job perfectly HP C6280 for free!   in any case, I'm glad.  The C6280 cost me more than $350 new 5 years ago, and a rebuild.  Refillable cartridges no more for me. I'm sure that they cause a lot of posts here.

I just bought HP ($49) brand inks.   I think the rechargeable ink cartridges at low cost caused the problem in the first place, when well recently I replaced by HP cartridges in an attempt to solve the problem.

  • I have no sound and no printing on my computer. My computer is not part of a network of computers. How are the caps to be prepared so that the printer and speaker work?

I have a DELL Photo 920 printer and a DELL speaker, but I'm not sure of the model.  I was moving the computer around the enclosure is unplugged and I could not it reconnect properly.  When I tried to fix it, it turned out that I also disconneced My DELL printer.  How to fix speaker (soundbar) and the printer?  Thank you!

I don't know why you asked this in the forum Office 2007, so I moved it to the windows 'Hardware and drivers' forum.

Examine the back of your PC.  Your sound card must be labeled with pictograms, something like this:

The line show an arrow going into circles or curves and will often blue.  Speaker/line out will show an arrow coming out of the circles or curves and will often green.  The microphone usually indicates a picture of a microphone and is often pink.

    Hi livelabel,.

Please use the forum for answers,

You can uninstall all the driver/software HP printer utilities.  Visit the HP Web site for the last download driver and utility, reinstall them after rebooting your system.
Also contact HP any known issue with SP2 for your printer model.  Make sure that file for the print job size is not greater than the printer can handle.

  • Nothing but the blue sky and green fields!

I tried to get some use out of my old Dell PC. After he found in a closet for four years, I thought I would try it out. I have connected to my router by an ethernet cable, and then he lit. Windows XP logo appeared, then after four or five minutes, the screen went white. I tried several times with it, but it's the same thing. Now, I have a desktop of blue sky and green fields but without icons, toolbar, toolbar State system or the taskbar. Can anyone help please? I was now all day!

Sometimes, you can recover from this with the following procedure:

When you see the blue sky and green grass, on the keyboard, press Ctrl-Alt-Del
If you have XP Pro, select "Task manager" from the context menu.  (XP Home will automatically start the Task Manager).
Start Task Manager, click on the "Processes" tab, and then make a file-> new task.
In the window that opens, enter "Explorer" and click the OK"" button.

    I hope you get again.

    Hello

That's what I feared. This kind of banding appears in images when using normal paper for use with low quality settings. You can try to increase the quality of the prints or try using photo paper.

A good document to make booklets with photos is the HP brochure and flyer. (C6818A)
