HP932C does not print on Windows 10

Recently, I tried to install my old HP 932C printer inkjet on my new pc Dell i3252 10 Windows by using the printer installation cd.

The cd won't boot, but I think that I managed to install the printer manually because the 932C icon is listed on my pc under "Devices" and "Printers & Scanners" as default printer.

However, when I tried to print, I get a popup stating that a printing error has occurred.

All the solutions to this problem?

If you have upgraded your computer to Windows 8 formed another version of Windows, make sure all software uninstall complete of your printer.  It should still print, but to use all the features, you will need to reinstall the software, if available.

Another thing to consider is how you want to connect the printer to the computer.

    1. USB.  You must ensure that you have a USB cable which does not exceed 6 feet (about 2 m).  Be sure to connect the printer directly to the computer.  Do not use a USB hub.

    2. Ethernet cable.  Make sure you have the network configuration, you have a free cable port on the router, and you have an available Ethernet cable.

    3. Wireless.  You must ensure that you have the configuration of the wireless network, and you have the password of the wireless network.

    1. installation Via USB

Installation via USB in Windows 8 became much simpler for users of HP printer.  In other versions of the Windows operating system, you need to launch the installation and wait that it asks for the USB connection.  If you do not, you will need to uninstall the printer from the devices and printers folder and then launch the installation.  In Windows 8, which won't be a problem.  If you plug the USB cable from the printer and then install the printer software, work remains.  Now for in depth instructions on installing the printer via the USB port click on the link below.

2 installation Via an Ethernet network connection

For an Ethernet connected printer, the installation is disconcerting.  All you have to do is to connect the printer to the network.  Once you have done so, Windows 8 will automatically install the drivers for you.  Then, all you have to do is install the rest of the software, if available.  It's really as simple as that.

3 installation Via a wireless network connection.

For a wireless printer, network installation is disconcerting.  All you have to do is to connect the printer to the network.  Once you have done so, Windows 8 will automatically install the drivers for you.  Then, all you have to do is install the rest of the software, if available.  It is roughly the same as just Wireless Ethernet installation.

    Alternative installation methods

With Windows 8, the drivers of many printers are installed with the operating system.  These are called pilots InOS, since they come built-in to the operating system.  If you have one of these printers, you should have to do simply connect it to the computer via USB, or connect to the network via Ethernet or wireless.  Once you have that makes Windows will take care of the rest.  There are other methods of installation of your printer if normal methods don't work for some reason any.  You can install the printer is using the printer, or through Windows Updates Setup Wizard.

  • HP LaserJet 6 p printer range does not print with windows 7

I installed the drivers that came with Windows 7, but the printer does not print. I run the diagnostic tool; It removes the work and says it's fixed.  It is not the case. HP says they cannot help.   I love my 6 p and would rather not have to buy a new printer.  Can anyone help? Thank you.

Windows 7 does NOT support printer HP laserjet 6 p.  It is a HP note:models 6L and 6 p in the LaserJet 6 series are NOT supported in Windows 7  I got and downloaded the driver on the Internet somewhere by typing: driver of HP laserjet 6 p.  You can check the box to add printers over the Internet.  I'm not looking for the process.  Try and I hope it helps.  In the meantime, I'm troubleshooting why my 6 p prints (parallel to 6 p and USB for laptop HP cable).  Don't forget the impression of 'biodirectional' is not checked in Ports (USB001, 2 or 3) place (lower-left) in Device Manager. Right-click on your printer, you will see 'printer properties '.  I say that linear, but you will get it.  Let us know.

  • HP Laserjet 1200 does not print in Windows 7

I have a HP Laserjet 1200 connected via the USB port of a laptop running Windows 7, 64-bit.  I installed the driver 64-bit windows 7 to the printer through the Windows Update process.  I added it as a local printer as described in this thread.  The driver installs and seems fine.  (The icon of the printer under "Devices and printers" is another printer, but I don't know which is relevant).  When I try to print a test page or any other page, work flashes in the queue of the printer window and disappears quickly, but the page does not print.  I get no error message.  Any suggestions?

I have two computers, both running Windows 7. We're running the 32-bit version and one is connected directly to the printer (HP Deskjet 720). • PSC2175: PSC 2175 does not print on Windows 8.1

PSC 2175 prints on Windows 8.1. Although it scanner and Windows recognizes that the printer is connected is not in Applications like Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office as an available printer even though it is listed in the hardware and printers. HP Print and Scan doctor says that the software is installed, however if you select "fix print" and says that the complete software solution is not installed. If you select "Make install", it says "Page not found". If you select "Drivers and software" and follow the instructions the software only lists is utility of Diagnostic Tools that expands to be install printer HP for Windows. When it works, it says that the printer drivers may not be loaded correctly. By following the instructions to fix the problem, it of just in a loop back to the original Panel, saying that the drivers do not seem to install correctly and try reinstalling the downlaod and install the wizard.

    Hi @manzagol

It seems that diagnostic tools take you in circles. I'd be happy to help you, but I'm afraid that there is no feature complete and the software for the PSC 2175 for Windows 8 or 8.1.  Instead, you use a driver in OS. A printer driver is software that lets the computer run the printer.

I wonder if you can uninstall the driver in the OS and reinstall it again. I wonder if the instructions given in the following link may help you with this; Uninstall, disable, restore and update device drivers in Windows 8 / 7

    I hope this helps.

  • Brother HL-5040 laser printer does not print in Windows 7 64 bit

I had this problem and solved technical support Brother. Share the answer here.

First of all, the printer is compatible with Windows 7 64-bit, which means that it is not correct:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/search.aspx?l=en-us&type=hardware&s=brother%20HL-5040

    Viz:

    http://www.brother-USA.com/LP/windows7compatibility.aspx

It is an older printer (but many), which the driver is not preloaded on Windows 7. But it is available via Windows Update (don't cross here, but it's simple.) Operating instructions here:

    http://www.brother-USA.com/LP/windows7compatibility.aspx#winupdate

Note that I've known a couple of wrinkles in the process, but generally, he worked as directed. So now you have your pilot.

But the test page not yet print! I got on the phone with the help of brother. The problem is that when you download the driver from Windows Update, it is by default the printer to the LPT1 port. It is a parallel port that some modern laptops, if any, have. You must switch to the USB port

So: go to start--> devices and printers

Find the Brother HL-5040, right click and select printer properties in the drop-down menu that appears as if by magic.

    Click the Ports tab.

You will see that LPT1 is selected. Scroll down to the bottom and who says USB002 check (at least in my case it was 002; anything with USB00x should work). Hit apply.

At this point, my test page printed. Good luck.

Had a lot of challenges by installing this as a shared printer (host was a Windows XP box) when trying to install by connecting to the printer, could not find the driver.  Finally installed as printer local to LPT1 port using the PCL5e driver and then added a new port (\\machinename\printername).  Worked like a champ.

  • Help! -HPCP1215 does not print in Windows 7, no error message

Hello, I am running Windows 7 and have a HP CP1215 printer.  Until recently, when I start a print job, everything goes as normal EXCEPT nothing comes out of the printer.  I get no error message or anything.  I get the usual messages, indicating that the print job was sent to the printer, etc.  But nothing happens on the end of the printer.  I have other printers connected and they print correctly.

    I tried:
    1. Uninstall the drivers and software to print several times then reinstalling the drivers directly on the site of HP and the updated software
    2. I've tried different USB ports.
    3. I tried to start, stop and restart the printer spool service.
    4. Tried Microsoft Fixit solution software that detects any problems.
    5. Tried to restore Windows to an earlier version.
    6. The diagnosis of HP of the tools on the site of HP (Print & Scan, Assistant physician installation HP Windows 7 printer and HP Diagnostic Tools) none find any questions or problems.

Nothing seems to work, and I am at my wits end and don't know what to do else do a new install of Windows that I really, really want to do.

    Help, please!

    This response from you:

Problem is that when I find the management of printing a back prompt window opens momentarily then shut almost immediately.  I tried to access the print management with two different administrator user accounts with the same results.

Is not compatible with this response from you:

I tried the suggestions above without success to be able to print.  [Referring to my suggestion to follow the steps described in the help document HP in order to remove the printer driver, whereas this step 3 is "open Print Management."]

My bad.  I should have asked earlier what version of Windows 7 you have. Despite contrary information in the help files and besides, print management is apparently not available in Windows 7 Home Premium.  See http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/printer-management-problem/62aab3e3-897c-4656-8d1b-58c20bd940fd (I think that Alan Morris).

Then, assuming you have Windows 7 Home Premium, go back to the HP page I linked earlier and instead of using print management, follow the advice of Alan Morris to remove driver and driver--> http://www.vistax64.com/vista-print-fax-scan/278458-how-do-i-remove-printer-drivers-windows-7-without-print-managem.html package

By 'launch' Alan means opens a command prompt window (I would do it in a "computer administrator" account) and type
    printui/s/T2 {press Enter}

    Hi all

I am running Windows 7 64 bit on my desk. When I try to print from any program (tried with Outlook, Firefox, Acrobat, IE, Excel, Word, etc.) the program crashes. I used the 64-bit Installer to install the drivers of the CM1312nfi. Any ideas how I can defeat this beast?

Oh yes, still one thing I use the CM1312nfi as a network printer. I checked my firewall ESET Internet Security and made sure the IP address that is open to him.

  • C4480 does not print with Windows 7

I have a HP C4480 all-in-one printer. It worked fine with Windows XP. Since I upgraded to Windows 7 (32 bit) and installed the compatible version of the HP (v13.0) software I can't print from any application. I can print alignment page and test page and I can scan, but when you try to print from any application I get the normal print message and the document is added to the print queue, but no printing happens and the queue is empty.

After installing HP Print Diagnostic Utility (Utility of diagnosis HP Print), I found that the driver I had installed from HP page had a compatibility issue. The proposed solution was to uninstall the driver, disconnect the cable from the printer, restart the computer, and connect the cable again so to make Windows Installer the driver and then I was able to print normally.

Now my mind is at peace
