  It is not so much a question of Code::Blocks because it is a command line.  When you use the command line, spaces are used to delimit the parameters and options, but cite your file path or escape spaces in the name.

• Violation of timing when adding code blocks parallel to each other in a FPGA SCTL

  Hey guys!

  I have a problem with my code inside a SCTL of running on an FPGA VI and hoped someone could help me.

  I work with a 120 MS/s ADC and write the data to the FPGA block of memory in a 120 MHz SCTL. Since the data has to be 'mixed' there is also a code to get the correct address (by first example data at address 0, second to address 20, 40 and so on until 2000, then I start with 1, 21...).

  I have a second block of code that later, when writing is completed, reads in the block of memory to perform some calculations (a linear slope of the signal interpolation)

  The two parties are implemented using pipelining (I say this because I think it would be the first response of the community), while if I compile only one, everyone needs about 7 to 8 ns to run, which means that they meet the requirements to run in my 120 MHz SCTL (8.33 ns).

  But when two blocks of code are in the same field of clock (whether in ore SCTL in two SCTLs using the same clock) from the FPGA VI I get a timing violation, saying that the code in the SCTL needs 17 ns (logical and delay routing) to run. It is not also show me the critcal way, just the SCTL. Because the code runs at the same time, I don't see why the delay of logic should increase (to 12 ns). The only way 2 code blocks communicate with each other are the memory of block and some shift registers so the path of Combinatorics is not increased.

  I already checked whether the SubVIs (I use one per block of code to avoid the lack of clarity, but they are different) are the problem. If the code in the SubVIs implemented directly in the FPGA hand VI it does not change the delay of logic.

  50% of the registers and the lut FPGA are used, the DSP48s of 5% and 50% of RAM block, so I don't think that the problem is something like the compiler finds not enough free slices to create fast paths.

  The main problem is not that the delay of routing increases, but the delay of logic.

  Does anyone have an idea what could cause this huge increase by delay time?

  I use labview 2011 and 12.4 Xilinx.

  Try not to put memory read the node within a box structure. Instead, you can always read from a fixed address, say 0, when the data are not all ready. Reading a memory will not damage your data contrary to push from a FIFO. If your memory by reading the node is inside a case structure, there will be a mux when data is passed outside this business structure, which will increase the delay of logic.

  In addition, I also recommend that you do not use the loop of the index 'i', if you are running at high clock frequency. This counter is seen to be 32-bit, and you probably don't have a memory that deeply. LV FPGA is to have logic check inside the read node memory address range, so width incorrect address can still be important. You can implement instead of your counter code which the width of the tip is appropriate.

  A few points:

  -L' mechanical action of your Boolean is ready to "lock when published. In other words, it will reset to False after having read once.

  -You have no calendar control software in your loop, it is what is known as a "greedy loop" and run as fast as it can possibly

  For this reason, your true case runs, but that one time when you release the button and the button will be reset to False until you see probably because the loop runs probably thousands of times per second. If you enable execution highlighting to slow down execution of the VI to something, that you observe, you should see the Boolean indicator lights briefly before you reset it.  You must always place a wait function inside your loop to slow things up to a reasonable speed, however.

  Some other tips:

  -You only required to place the indicator Boolean inside the structure of business if you want to update in two cases (that you use a value of property in the other node) - just place it outside of the structure and the value you want to set out the case of wire

  -You created a while loop without stop condition, and VI must be abandoned to stop it.  Generally, you'll want to give the user a stop button to get out of the VI, abandonment is almost never a good idea.

  -You don't need really the case structure in this case, he could just wire the Boolean OK button directly to the indicator.  My impression is that it's just a conclusive example or experience in how cases structures work, however, it's probably fine.

• PowerState situation - problem with the code block - returns false, but seems real to list extended properties

  If this provision of the code (part of a script a lot bigger) seems to not work properly.  It returns false when it should return true.  Basically I want my script to verify that virtual machines are turned on by the admin of the script running.  There will be a break in case of failure and then press a button to try again.  Here is the block of code (which I have shared out in his own script to test).

• Illustrator CC code blocks

  I'm having a problem where whenever I copy or cut an object/element, then paste it into a plan of work (same or different), the copy will often pasted as SVG code, rather than the graphic element.  This will be the case most of the time, but sometimes it will work as it should and paste the graphic.  I would have been due to a Clipboard (ditto) Manager, but I since which turns off and the problem persists.

  Is this something that is controlled by a setting, or is it a bug?  Ideas, solutions or suggestions welcomed.

  The only time wherever it happens is if I copy the objects, and then try to paste them into a text string or text box.

  You could try to go in Edition > Preferences and uncheck the option Code SVG, which. This will stop the above doesn't happen.

• Block off diagram

  I'm working on a LabVIEW project for a probe station. The person who built the program already gone, and I'm learning about the structure of his project. In each of the category under VI folder, I found a few void as XX_Properties.vi VI. However, it is related to some variables. Also, if I choose the hierarchy view, I am unable to find that the vi without any block diagram is actually associated with a few other subVIs. I'm confused. How a VI without a diagram can associate another VI? Please notify. Thank you very much!
