  • Wireless network is disabled by the hp connection manager after hibernation, sleep etc.

Wireless network is disabled by the hp connection manager after hibernation, sleep and sometimes when I use the computer. I can't see preferences in HP Connection Manager to fix this, or Windows power management.

What is the solution to keep the network wireless activated ALL THE TIME?

Edition of the HP Connection Manager does not work, so I can't activate wireless again!

    My computer:
    HP ProBook 4530 s (new)

Windows 7 Pro (included with the computer)

No other power or utilities wireless isn't installed, just the HP utilities installed at the factory.

In the hope of a quick solution.

    Thanks in advance.

    -Mikael Noerrelund, Denmark

There is a setting in Connection Manager > Preferences > power to the device , which CAN be assigned to turn off the wireless / Bluetooth when you have left the connection manager.  You must Select / SET parameter.  You can see, just in case...  I never heard talk of the Connection Manager turn off wireless, unless it was to make it to the exit.

You can do the following in the Device Manager to leave the power to the wireless and Bluetooth devices:

Control Panel > display icon > Device Manager > network adapters >

Right click on the WiFi link (Intel) (wording may vary) >

    in Properties > Powermanagement >

Clear the check BOX "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

    Ok

    Do the same for Bluetooth...

    I hope this helps...

  • Get on my wireless network - I'm in the prompt for the user name, password, and domain

I tried to connect to my home wireless network. with most wireless networks, I will ask you for a password and I can enter and connect, but my home network wonder with additional credentials, including username, password and domain. My home network does not work with all other computers that are used in my house. What can I do to connect?

    Hello

    1. try relative to wireless networking and make sure that you set the level of security to WPA2-Personal, as it is recommended. Follow the steps listed in the link below and check if that helps:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Setting-up-a-wireless-network

2 disable the software firewall and windows AntiVirus installed on your computer and then try to connect to the wireless network. Make sure that you turn on once connected to the network.

    3. you can also try the steps listed in the link below:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Troubleshoot-network-connection-problems (for Windows 7)

    4. run the built-in network troubleshooting utility, follow the steps listed in the below link for the same thing: using the utility in Windows 7 Network Troubleshooter:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Using-the-Network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

  • Moved from Office Windows 7 from one room to the other and now it cannot find the wireless network

    Hello world

I have a HP Pavilion running Windows 7.

He was hooked through the ethernet in a single room.

I moved it to another room where there was no inflexible access, so I relied on the use of our wireless network.

Now, the computer will not even find the wireless network.  When I have the help, it says "no available connection."

In the center of the network, selecting wireless has a red X to the left of the green signal bars.

At first, I wondered if maybe the computer was in a "dead point" in our House, but I've put a laptop beside him and he found the thin wireless network.

    Any help?

Update: I tried system restore and tried to stop/resume knowledge network locations, but to no avail.

Here is the info on my card wireless directly from HP site:

Original driver for the solutions of Dualband network Atheros 802.11 Wireless Module a/b/g/n.

I found what I think, it's their website, (http://www.atheros.cz/atheros-wireless-drivers.php), but surprise... they only model # s, my info does not.  Ugh.

  • HP Photosmart 6510 series connects to the network and Internet, but not the computer.

    Hey all,.

I have a desktop H8-1228 and 6510 e - printer.  I got both products at the same time.  I did the initial installation, and everything worked perfectly.  I was able to print of my HP Touchpad (the printer was on the floor and my Touchpad was down.).  Recently, I made a trip for two weeks.  I turned off the printer.  This seems to have been a mistake.  Now, he will only contact my network and Internet, but not the computer.  The Setup program keeps telling me that it is 'Impossible to find the printer' and that he wants me to check the IP address of the printer.  I did this many times by printing the HP's Configuration Page from the printer screen.  I also used Windows "Add a printer" without success.

I have installed and uninstalled the software several times; every time that remove the icon of the printer and the Standard TCP/IP port in the "Devices and printers" section in Control Panel.  A few minutes earlier, I used Regedit to delete any reference to the series of HP Photosmart 6510 in the registry, believing that it could help my situation.  There can be no. :-(  I did the installation with the same problems that I had all the other times that I tried to install it.

No help from you the printer experts will be greatly appreciated.  I'm not a novice as you can see.  This situation, however, launched my posterior. :-))

    Hi old_geekster,

You may want to enable disable all startup programs in msconfig until you are able to access the Web integrated printer server. It seems that there is something in the communication with the printer's operating system blocking. It will most likely software firewall or security related.

HP has designed a quick and easy tool that diagnoses and solves many problems of printing, scanning and connectivity: The HP Print and Scan doctor. HP recommend you to download and install Print and scan doctor no matter what time you need to solve a problem with your HP printer from the link below.

Reset settings tcp/ip so using winsock reset, reinstalled the drivers and uninstalled and reinstalled browsers and still the same issue.

restored windows in the last working restore point, still the same problem.

scanned with the Microsoft Malware removal tool, as well as with both windows defender and no suspects were found.

Tried all most all the steps online to reset the log ip so also the steps in msconfig that comes as a response to this community, but still the same issue.

The address sometimes bar said as invalid address and take the url as http:///

Checked the IP settings and able to ping both Web sites and also windows taking updates.

The only issue is not able to navigate.

What else can I do to solve the problem, with about reinstalling windows?

This means generally that you are connected to your network, but not the Internet.

If you use a wireless connection, this may mean the wireless network password which is stored in your computer's a mismatch with the router.  Try to connect with a cable.  Try to reset the password of your router wireless and rename your network.

It is also quite possible that you have no connection to your Internet service provider.  Restart your modem and your router if you have separated.

If the router is separated, try to connect with a cable directly to the modem.

  • How can I configure Mozilla to accept connections on port "The World Wide Web (HTTP) service"?

When you try to embed a video in PowerPoint 2013, the "Sorry we are having some problems of temporary service" message.

In research on the problem to Microsoft. com, the following message is received: Mozilla is not configured to accept connections on port "The World Wide Web (HTTP) service."

Hmm... PowerPoint must use Windows to connect to the internet and not Firefox.

    What method do you use?

    (1) insert > video > video online

Apparently, there was an update this month that allows this, as described in this message of support (see the top of page answer right after the question): embedding video in powerpoint 2013 - Microsoft YouTube community online

Here's how it should work after the update: Insert or link to a video on YouTube - PowerPoint

    (2) developer > control > Shockwave Flash Object

I have the macbook pro (OS 10.6.8) and the iphone 6 s. The latest version of iTunes is 11.4. When it is connected to the MAC, I get the message that itunes must be upgraded. How to synchronize or import/export files(images/music)?  Fact is need to update itunes?

    Hi sonalnj,

I understand that you cannot synchronize your iPhone as iTunes is requested it must be updated. I can help you with that.

According to the technical specifications for a 6 s iPhone, you need a Mac running OS X v10.8.5 or later version with iTunes 12.3 or later. Because you are on OS X 10.6.8 your version of iTunes is up to date with this OS.

    iPhone 6 s Tech Specs
    http://www.Apple.com/iPhone-6s/specs/

Now to fix that, you need to update your Mac OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion or OS X 10.11 El Capitan. If you want to go to the Mountain Lion, you can do it with the first link below. The cost will be $19.99 and a code will be delivered to you if you can download it via the Mac App Store. Once you have upgraded, be sure to make all software updates to go with him to get the latest version of iTunes.

    OS X Lion mountain
    http://www.Apple.com/shop/product/D6377Z/A/OS-x-mountain-lion

Now the other option is to move to OS X 10.11 El Capitan, and is a free update that you can do right in the Mac App Store, if you meet the system requirements. Take a look at the following article for more details on how to do it.

Update of OS X El Capitan

  • "Cannot find server" when connecting to the database homepage

Until someone tells me to look at the other post on the first page of the forum with a similar title... I've already read through it. I also did a search of the forum, but I'm still stuck.

Let me start by saying that I have almost no experience on one database other than writing queries. I installed Oracle Express 10 g today for I can have access to a development environment to test my queries on the sample data. After installation, it automatically opens a web browser, pointing to the URL: http://127.0.0.1:8080 / apex, the page could not be loaded (error Internet Explorer: "cannot display the page." and at the bottom of the page: "Cannot find server or DNS error"). I decided to restart my computer to see if that would make a difference. Then, I opened the link 'Start' in my Start menu in the new folder of Oracle. It instructed me to first of all, go to the home page of the database (with the same URL: http://127.0.0.1:8080 / apex), and the page still doesn't load. Based on the posts that I could find on the subject, I chose "Start Database" of the Oracle folder in my Start menu. In the command window that pops up, he says:
    C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\BIN>net start OracleXETNSListener
The requested service has already been started.

More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2182.

    C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\BIN>net start OracleServiceXE
The requested service has already been started.

More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2182.
Then... It looks like the database and listener are already started, so I don't think that's the problem. So, I'm stuck. I am trying to access to this on the same computer, I installed it, and I don't plan any time in the future where I will need to access the database remotely because it is just a test environment for my personal use.

The most recent post on this subject, I saw something to try to go to http://hostname:8080 / apex. And, forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question, but I guess I have to replace "hostname" in this URL with whatever hostname actually is... right? So, uh, how can I know what is the host name?

Published by: user11033437 on April 15, 2010 13:18 (corrected to default URL)

Well, looks like the answer to one of the previous questions, "isn't the database running" was ", not really" :(

If there is no newspaper alerts, there no database, most probably the \oraclexe\oradata\XE\ does not contain. DBF files - try manual cleaning (remove registry entries, the Windows install cleanup, etxc.) following ALL the steps in the http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B25329_01/doc/install.102/b25143/toc.htm#BABFFJIB

And check to make sure that your connection to the PC is in the local administrators group (domain administrator is not enough here) and run the installer... what version of Windows? XP? 2003?

  • A neighbor's wireless network is more powerful than mine, so my MacBookPro selects every time.  How can I eliminate the network of neighbour from the airport to the research?

Wireless network from a neighbor is always "found" by my Airport first, then my MacBook links to it.  But I want to find my own network, of course.  Question: How can I remove this neighbor of the network function research network?  Is it still possible?  In other words, I want my laptop to ignore this network around when I wake up from my laptop.

    On your Mac laptop...

Open the preferences system (gear on the dock icon)

    Open network

Click WiFi on the left panel to select

Click Advanced in the bottom right of the window

Here you can see the list of networks that 'remembers' your laptop and connect to the network at the top of the list first.  If you want the laptop to connect to a specific network, click the network name to highlight, and then drag it to the top of the list.

Now, click to highlight a network that you do not want your laptop to 'remember', then click on the - (less) button at the bottom of the list to remove the network. Do the same for other networks that you no longer need.

Click OK at the bottom right of the window

Click on apply in the next window that appears

Close the windows and then restart your Mac.

  • C6380 - computer laptop xp prints with connection by usb cable but not wireless

    Hello

I have a c6380, which is about two weeks old. Setup worked fine when I put it on the wireless network and everything is ok.

I installed the software on a vista pc which is connected by cable to my router from sky. This shows very well.

I installed the software on a computer vista laptop that is wireless and prints well.

I also have a computer laptop xp. It is also wireless. The software installed without problem. See the printer etc. However, when I try and print, the printer makes noise and pulls the paper, then the screen says it's printing and then nothing happens. The printer stays like that and eventually the laptop shows a failure to print the message. The document remains in the print queue before deletion, and I have to press Cancel on the printer. If I plug the printer with a usb cable for this laptopit prints without problem.

I ping the printer wireless froom the laptop xp and access the admin screen. It also shows as a network drive in my computer.

I uninstalled the software that came with the printer, downloaded the hp software to ensure that it is up-to-date and re installed.

I put the printer with a static ip address.

I restarted the router as well.

The router uses a channel 11 broadcast key, wpa - psk and is set to g & b modes.

Now, it's really really frustrating because the computer laptop xp my wife, is the main reason why we bought a wirelsss printer because she is a teacher and done loads of printing.

I'm pretty good with pc / networks etc but have now run out of ideas.

    Can someone help me please?

    Thanks in advance.

    Steve

    Hello

I've actually solved myself, but I'll keep this post here anyway.

The answer has been upgraded from SP2 to SP3.

Probably should have thought about that a little bit earlier!

  • Connected to home WiFi but not Wireless LAN home page

This morning, everything was fine but something happened with the printer and now my laptop is all out of whack. I used to be connected to my home network where I could access all computers on the network and my hard drive Western Digital World Book Edition II. I don't know how, but now I'm out of the network. I'm always connected to the WiFi which is available in the House but I can ' t do anything else. I can't watch other computers, print or watch the WD hard drive. I tried everything to get me back on the network, but not luck.

    I am using the following:
-IBM ThinkPad X 41 Tablet running Windows XP
    -Linksys Wireless-N Broadband Router (model number - WRT300N v1.1)
    -Canon PIXMA MX870
-Western Digital myBook World Edition II (2 TB)

I did steps 1 to 6, but he says still unknown

    Sorry if I wasn't clear.

1-6 steps enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP, which is a good thing to do.  These measures do not affect the type of node.  As explained in the link nitecruzr, there is a good reason to make this explicit parameter instead of the default Windows.

Reset the 'unknown' to 'Broadcast' node type can be performed by following the steps in KB903267 - but it is I think remember that sometimes the steps described in this article do not work and the type of node is still 'unknown '.  What I meant is that it is OK for the type of node be 'unknown '.
