I can't find other devices on my network.

I use a WNDR3700x2 router with a wireless on another floor extension. When I connect to the router itself, I can see all of our devices, wired and wireless. I also downloaded the netgear genius app, and they appear there, too. The problem is that my devices cannot communicate with each other and do not lie when I display the networks on the devices themselves. All computers are running Win 10 and wired and wireless internet access works great. Through files and printers sharing, I managed to get a wireless laptop to talk to a desktop computer, but by the Wireless Office, too. The files are now accessible by computers, but the laptop does not see the printer that is hard wired to the desktop. (Before 10th of Windows, wireless computer could talk to another computer when it is wired - that no longer works.) I am also unable to see desktop computers from another computer wired or wireless laptop.

I think I'm being stupid here, but I'm tired of banging my head against the wall... I read another post on this subject, where the global address list should restart router sound every morning for its computers to see each other. This is not the case in my question; restarting changes nothing, and the router connection shows all the devices - I can't get them to see through computers.

Thank you, Elaine! For some reason, using the genius of Netgear has allowed these computers to communicate again. It has no sense to me why it would change anything, but it did, and now all computers communicate with each other. Intermittent problems with the printer, but still believe it has anything to do with its time-out settings.

This device was shipped with an Intel 2200bg WLan minPCI.
In this case, you need a driver for Intel. Visit the Web from Toshiba or you download the driver from the Intel site.

Asked this question in the Windows 7 forum also because the problem was between windows 7 and Vista.

    Hello

If it has started, you can try a system restore - an update "might" have caused the problem.

    1. try a system restore back to a point before that happened. And immediately thereafter enter
Control Panel - Windows updates - top left settings and set it to download and informs you instead
Automatic. Leave it until you are sure that everything is OK and then you can add them one at a time
to troubleshoot BUT click right on and HIDE all the driver updates. Also stop at day of drivers like below
and let this value - manually search for drivers when you think you need. (See how and why to)
    stop day of drivers below.)

How to make a Vista system restore
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-System-Restore-how.html

To uninstall an update if you determine that there are problems - Panel - updated Windows - down left-
    Updates installed - uninstall

I had completely forgotten the system restore!  While looking into the system restore, I found that when I moved into my new House and has cable Internet installed, the cable technology installed a program of comcast on my computer.  This caused me to not be able to connect with other computers.  After rolling back to install it before it works!   Thank you.

  • Cannot enable the streaming media to other devices on my network?

When I try to install Media Streaming on Win 7 Home Premium 64 - bit, using Control Panel/Network Sharing Center/Media Streaming Options, I find the following strange problem.  The "show devices on:" drop-down list has no content and does not allow me to select anything.  On my Win 7 wife's computer, this dropdown allows of me selcet is "all networks" or "local networks".  I discovered this error when I bought an XBox 360 and setup of Windows media Center on it.  Windows Media center on the XBox can connect to my PC and play all the music in my library of music through Media Center, but the XBox can't find my pc on the network using the music library or picture library.  My PC does not list the XBox when I "see the network computers or devices", but nor does my wife's PC.

I am confused as to how my XBox has been so easily connected to my PC and continues to work perfectly in the application of the XBox, Windows Media Center, and still fails to find my PC or browse its contents through its other music/photo/media applications.

I have no problem connecting to XBox Live or on the internet.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

Follow the steps described in the links below: reading your media to devices and computers using Windows Media Player: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Stream-your-media-to-devices-and-computers-using-Windows-Media-Player

Change settings for streaming media in Windows Media Player: http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/change-settings-for-streaming-media-in-Windows-Media-Player

Also, you can try to temporarily disable anti-virus and check if you can get the opportunity to play and play on your Play Station 3.

Share you must have under 'Network and Internet' a 'homegroup' set in place with share pictures etc. with controlled devices. You must also have under 'Network and Media Center' 'share with media devices' network Local set to "allow all". You can easily access these via WMP12, if you look under the drop down menu "share", it's the two base units, just select those to go to the relative Panel.

All the media you want to share must be stored in the folder 'Libraries' relative to the topic. For some reason, videos are available to select the "folders" on the PS3, if you select 'All videos' only the recorded TV shows samples sample wtv file, which

    It will be useful.

  • LaserJet Pro M127fn Installer cannot find the device on the network

    Hello

I just bought the product, but during the installation - setup is unable to find the device on the network. Device is properly registered to the address 192.168.0.14 (with static IP address), I can see the dashboard configiration at the same address via browser and all works well with the network itself.

Try to ping the IP - it's ok. Tried to install without active firewall - also fails.

Double checked the installation process - with automatic search and provide the IP address of the printer - both failed.

Also, I rebooted the router and the switch and the computer. Is not new. I also tried downloading the last executable configuration on the site - and even once, it fails with 'device not found on the network.

Then what do I do to fix this?

    Thank you

Finally found a solution. It is strange as it may seem, but after all, it's a solution.

-Rinse your DNS and your ARP cache (see the Google if you don't know what that means)

-Reboot the router (or, where appropriate - switches)

-Change the IP address of the device on your network. Try with round numbers like (192.168.0.20)

-Restart your router (and if applicable - switches)

    -Restart your computer (s)

-Don't run the Setup again and the hoprefully you will have no errors and everything works perfectly for you

If your problem, similar to mine, persists, repeat the above process again and again... and again...

    Good luck

  • Find the device on the network

Could someone please explain to me how to find a device on a network - use the multicast or broadcast?

I want to find the ip address of my server on wlan and there may be multiple instances of these servers. The server uses this http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/7.0.0api/net/rim/device/api/io/MulticastDatagramConnection... class and receives repsonses ok. Java then sends a rear channel.

  • Windows cannot create the network map. Responses of the other devices on the network are delayed or on the network, there is a router incapatible

    Original title: no network card
I installed a NETGEAR N300 Wireless USB Adapter on my computer which is a desk top Dell 64-bit running Windows 7 Edition Home Premium. There are five computers on my network. Two of the others use the same model of NETGEAR wireless USB adapt. I removed the Ethernet cable after the installation of the wireless adapter. I can say that the new wireless adapter works fine. When I tried to map the network I got the same message that appears in some of these problems: "Windows cannot create the network map. Responses of the other devices on the network are delayed or there is a router on the network incapatible". I have restarted this computer in SafeMode as suggested in the above problems. I tried other things like disabling the wired connection has always existed for the cable. No effect. Then I tried mapping the network on the other computers. All failed with the same message. All the other four computers are 32-bit. Three of these computers are also running Windows 7 Home Premium. They are the best desktop computers. The other computer is a Windows 7 Starter netbook running. It is the 32-bit computer, always using a cable. That will be replaced with the same wireless adapter model NETGEAR. Anyone know how to fix this or is this a bug? It would be nice of the network software of Windows 7 has worked as it is supposed to. TO.

I went the last wired wireless computer and the problem disappeared. The five computers can view the map now without any problems.

  • ITunes can't find my device

I've just updated to iTunes 12.4 on my mac under OS X 10.11.4 and cannot find my device from iTunes.

The device, I am trying to connect is an iPhone running iOS 9.3.2 6.

I'm doing something wrong or should I go back to an earlier version of iTunes?

iTunes should be able to connect to your iPhone regardless of his version, I'm under 12.4 as well and everything works perfectly. Your USB cable + iPhone connect to iTunes on other computers?

If not, I think that your either your USB connector or your port of lightning can be damaged or dusty.

If Yes, then we are dealing with a problem of software on your Mac (please reply if this is the case).
