I can't use Hibernation mode/mode standby on my Satellite

I can't use the Hibernation mode and also in standby mode! After that passage to these forms of my laptop shows a blue screen with the message «Preparing for the Hibernation/standby mode...» "and... There is nothing after this message just as the comp is hanging. Please advise me someone what can I do with this.

Why you n t see more details? ?:|
I put t understand users who post something but without any information on the laptop, which the OS has been pre-installed, manually or the recovery CD, what was done on the laptop, (X) - etc.

Sorry for this comment but I hope you understand my point of view.
However, using the OS from Toshiba Recovery CD?

Usually if the Toshiba Power saver was installed on the laptop then this utility controls the Hibernate mode and the day before.
But as I mentioned above, the OS from the restore CD should work. If you installed it manually if something is missing.

  • Can only use safe mode and can not access anything except firefox

Basically, there are a few days all of a sudden, a box came up saying Windows Explorer has stopped working. No matter what I click, it returns constantly to the rear. Because I use firefox, I can't to anything except this, and I can't get him if I use safe mode.
It is terribly annoying, I have 6000 + photos and other things I need, i.e. duties.
How can I fix? I can't use the normal mode, and it's annoying.
    Thanks in advance.

Then download your data either by:

1 remove the drive and put it in a box of USB drive or use a USB adapter. Attach it to a computer that is running a working XP/Vista/Windows7 installation. Use the work of Windows Explorer to copy the data to the hard drive of the system to the rescue and burn data on cd or dvd. I prefer not to do it if I know the drive is infected because he has a chance to infect your host system. In these cases, I use #2 below.

    2. you can start the target computer with a Bart PE (if you use XP) or a Linux live CD like Knoppix and retrieve the data in this way. General information about the use of Knoppix for this are:

You will need a computer with two cd records, one of which is an engraver of CD/DVD OR a USB thumb drive with sufficient capacity to store your data, OR an external hard drive formatted USB FAT32 (not NTFS) *. Download Knoppix .iso image file and create your bootable CD. If you do this in a previous (XP or Vista) operating system, you will need the third burning like Nero, Roxio or the free ImgBurn software (Windows 7 can burn .isos natively). Burn as an image, not in the form of data. Then boot with the CD that you created, and Knoppix will be able to see the files in Windows. If you use the USB key or an external hard disk, right-click on its icon (on the desktop) to get its properties and uncheck "read only". Then click on it to open it. Note that the mouse action by default in the window manager used by Knoppix (KDE) is a simple click to open instead of double-click traditional MS Windows. If you want to burn CD/DVDs, use the K3b program.

    * My understanding is that you can now write on NTFS from Linux partition. If you wish to do this, Google for instructions on the use of the NTFS driver.

    http://www.Knoppix.NET
    http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ - Bart PE Builder

Then do a restore clean factory/install of Windows.

I want to emphasize that you should not take what I wrote as a definitive diagnosis. I can't see or test your computer from here. I give you my opinion on your computer based on my experience as a computer tech and what you have written. If you can't do the work yourself (and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea), take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). • Can I use parallel mode and multiplex?

    Hello

    I have

NI USB-6259 data acquisition Module (two connectors for cables two SCXI-1349, which connects the DAQ chassis)

    SCXI-1001 chassis

3 modules of filter lowpass channel 8 SCXI-1143

    and

    an end before SCXI-1180 plate

The DAQ has 16 channels of AI diff., I want to drive two SCXI 1143 in multiplexed mode (connected to connector 0 to USB-acquisition of data through SCXI-1349) and the other in parallel mode assigned to AI 8-15 (connected to the connector 1 USB-acquisition of data through SCXI-1349).

The configuration is approved by MAX

But when I run it with the software I get an error message indicating that a simultaneous sweep is possible error-223835. And that the selected channel is not in the task Error:-200486.

(Such as the NI USB-6259) DAQ hardware can be attributed with channels 0-7 in multiplexed mode (multiplexing two SCXI 1143 8 Channel) and the rest of the channels in parallel mode for SCXI adapter? NEITHER USB 6259 must connectors separated, but he is still regarded as a data acquisition card?

What does the error say? I thought that I have configured for simultaneous scanning.

Attached to this post is a photo:

Top left: back of my case NI USB-6259

Top right: view from the front of my chassis with three SCXI 1143

Below: Rear view of the chassis. Two SCXI 1249 are connected to two cards. One card must be run in parallel mode, two in multiplexed mode.

    See you soon,.

    Alex

    The following connection States:

"In parallel mode, you can use that one module by hardware DAQ digital; You must connect all other modules in the chassis, in series, or parallel mode to a different DAQ hardware. »

What SCXI Modules are capable of running in parallel Mode?

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/3D45A66A691E4BD886256A6C004A4313?OpenDocument

So you need a separate DAQ hardware for each module.

  • Vista broke down. Can only use safe mode. (NOT RESOLVED)

Hey, if my computer worked fine until I tried to install an update from windows. It seems not completely install and just froze, so I closed the window and restarted my computer.

I then try to connect to my user, and it seems like I'm on a temporary user instead. I could still get into my files, but any changes I've made have not been saved. I said to myself, this is not normal, so decided to do a system restore.

I restart my computer once again and try to connect. It looks like its about to load, but then says "logout" and goes back to the login screen again = S

I try to restart, press F8 and put it on safe mode. I try another system restore - no change. I use the command prompt to perform a disk check, no change. I do a virus scan - no viruses. My boyfriend has also checked the RAM, and he can't find a problem.

Have saved as much as I can on discs and USB. Is there something else I could try, because I really don't want to have to restart my brand new computer?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi, Boniface,.

The temporary user account is probably using the locale by default, where the transition to the American.

What is your computer brand and model?

  • Windows Vista does not load, can not use Safe Mode, etc.

    Computer/laptop: Dell Inspiron 1525
    Running: Windows Vista

I hope someone here can understand this, but it's a pretty serious problem for me for two days now.

Two days ago I started my laptop that I normally have.  I did insofar as the office, and then once I tried to move my cursor autour, nothing happened.  Instead of using the cursor, navigation with the keyboard, I tried once more, nothing helps.  Everything was just frozen.  I didn't think much at the time, because I thought maybe it was just one of those random freezes, restart the computer fixed.

    But my problem got worse.

After the next reboot, my computer is doing as much as the black screen with the Green loading bar with the words "Microsoft Corporation" under it... and where he remained for more than 6 hours.  It's exactly what it does whenever I restart the computer.  Just in the limbo of the permanent load.

I held F12 on boot to the top and ran a diagnostic test, which revealed nothing wrong.  I tried all the options under F8, including all variations of Safe Mode, and once more, nothing has worked.  Even more frustrating is that the computer could not even finished loading command prompt when I tried "Safe Mode with command prompt."

The only clue I've gotten so far was a blue screen randomly with a single line of text that read something like: "'STOP: c00000033 object name invalid ." "

Essentially to: nothing works, and I not made any changes to the computer itself, between the time he was working, and now when it is not.  It loads just for as long as I leave the computer running.

Help or light on this subject would be much appreciated, as the thought of losing everything on a computer, I've had for almost two years is quite upsetting.

    Hey Maverick 104,

Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...)  Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

Step 2: Try (method 1) system restore and repair the startup (method 2) as indicated in the link below:

Your computer may freeze or it may restart to a black screen that has an 0xc0000034 error message after you install a service pack for Windows Vista

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/975484

Step 3: Start the computer to system recovery options (follow the steps mentioned in the link below) > select command prompt tool and run Check disk to repair bad sectors on the hard disk.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-Vista

At the command prompt, type chkdsk /f and then press ENTER.

Now, type chkdsk /r , and then press ENTER.

Note: CHKDSK would attempt to recover bad sectors on the hard disk, in the course of this process there are chances of DATA loss from that particular area.

Let us know if it works

  • X 2-10 GB - LX4, a minimum of distance - can I use single mode patchcord?

I need to connect two 6506 with X 2-10 GB-LX4, they reside in adjacent racks, so the length of the cord is not more than 10 meters. X 2-10 GB - LX4 documentation is unclear on SMF ranges, he finds only that

"Another alternative for short stretches in the same location is to use a single connecting cable. There will be no saturation on single-mode fiber. Please note the 10GBASE-LX4 devices can reach up to 10km over fiber optical Singlemode according to the IEEE compliance. ».

MMF notes are much clearer, they say I can use OM2 MMF with mode conditioning cables connection and 5db attentuators 1300nm, also I use OM3 MMF with attentuators even, but it's the configurations that I prefer to avoid.

So could I just get a patchcord SMF and connect to two transceivers? Have I need to use attentuators or anything else on this kind of link?

According to the documentation and specifications, if you use SMF connection cables, you can connect the two transceivers LX4 together without attenuators or mode of conditioning of the connection cables. Maximum transmission power (-0.5dBm) specifications the LX4 transceiver equals entry specifying the maximum receiver (-0.5dBm).

The use of the LX4 transceiver for this application of short distance is a very expensive solution. The SX on MMF would be more economical.

  • Computer bluescreens and falls down, can't use safe mode or the repair of the system

Original title: does not work for me repair system
    always do, the blue screen

    Hello, 55adan

Since you are not able to access Safe Mode or perform a system repair, you will need to use your system recovery discs or Windows installation disc to reinstall Windows.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/installing-and-reinstalling-Windows-Vista

Please note that if you use a recovery disk, the contents of hard disks is cleared if you need to connect the drive to a working computer down all the files you need.

If you have a Windows install disk, if you choose that a custom installation and DO NOT format the drive, your old files must all be placed in the folder C:\Windows.old. To protect against data loss, it is always recommended to recover all the data you want the drive first well.

  • Is there an external link to use to restore Windows XP Home to original values? I can only use safe mode at the moment that my computer shuts down automatically (with blue screen)

Running Windows XP home SP3. eMachines T6528 AMD Athlon 64 3500 + processor, nvidia GeForce 6100 GPU
I downloaded and executed a double file Finder and SEVERAL files deleted by mistake.

According to these instructions, you are not supposed to do that! Look at them again. They are on p. 137 (or p. 145). (P. 137, printed on the bottom or the p. 145 of the .pdf file!)

Remove all the drives and physically disconnect all USB and network connections first!

Then either start as you normally would (if you can) and select:

Start | All programs | System recovery | System recovery

    and then click Yes.

Or if you are unable to start up as usual, you will need to press F11 at the beginning - almost immediately after the ignition of the PC.

THEN, when you are prompted to, you can insert the disc. :-)

  • Can I use Intel Wireless Display - Netgear PTV1000 on Satellite U400-157

I want to use the NETGEAR PTV 1000 wireless display device. The hammer on the Net says I should be able to use it if I change the operating system to Windows 7. I see that I need http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wtech/iwd/sb/CS-031059.htm Intel Wireless Display to use.

The Intel Wireless WifI Link 5100 wireless on the Satellite U400-157 is. Seems that it is not one that is required to run the PTV 1000? So an operating system for Win 7 can not allow me to use the PTV 1000?
