We have added to the wireless and when wireless clients connect to the network (using standalone APs) they are capable of anything on the 192.168.88.0 network ping.   I can't connect the transmitter and the receiver.  I even had a new transmitter delivered to my HP.  But I still get a message saying: "Please activate record on transmitter unit" do not know how to do this and there is no instructions anywhere to fix this.  Almost ready to return this product to the HP.

  It seems that the transmitter and receiver are not matched.  I think that the quick start guide has some instructions on how to add a device?

SOMETIMES EVEN THAT DOESN'T WORK SO AFTER RESETTING THE ADAPTER, I HAVE TO TURN ON/OFF THE COMPUTER. I HAVE NO CLUE AS WHAT THAT CAUSES THIS PROBLEM. PLEASE IF ANYONE KNOWS HELP.

  I suggest to start by checking your system for malware, as follows:

  HP computers - solve and protection against viruses on your computer (Windows 8)
  Spyware, Adware and browser hijacking software

  If that fix it, you're done, otherwise, you should check these:

  Troubleshooting wireless network and Internet (Windows 8)
  In addition, you can watch the the power management of your wireless adapter:
  Turn off the power to the adapter:
  1. open Device Manager. (Win Key + R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)
  2. expand the network adapters.
  3. right click on the Ethernet adapter / wireless, and then click Properties.
  4. click on the power management tab.
  5 remove the check mark next to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
  6. click on OK.
  7 test cycle.

  Forget the network: (Windows 8)
  1. press Windows Key + C
