• Narrowing of a disk virtual (I know this has been discussed before...)

  I know this has been discussed before, but I can't find a situation quite like mine and wanted to make sure that I had all my options in front of me before I did anything. It's on a box with ESXi 4.1, build 260247.

  I have a virtual machine with two virtual disks: one for the operating system and one for data. One for data is 1.6 to and has two partitions: 1.1 to and a 500 GB. I would like to delete the 500 GB partition and then reduce the virtual 500 GB disk so that I can use this space on other virtual machines.

  The most popular way that I found in my research is to use the VMware converter to make a copy of it and adjust the size of the disks. That however, does not seem a very viable option. There is no additional local storage to put the VM convertered files, then it will have to be written to a network device any. This combined with the fact that I would copy the OS partition too much (that I don't need), makes this option in way too slow.

  My only idea is to copy all the data on the virtual disk's data to a network device or a USB (through the USB transfer), delete the virtual disk, re-create it with the appropriate size and copy the data back.

  Is there a more easy/fast way to do this? I'd appreciate any help.

  Unfortunately, the converter is the only option I know for shrink disc. However, due to the situation, I think that the copy is going to be the best method for you.

  Another option is converting only select the player data to convert to the new virtual machine, shrink, migrate over and import it into the existing virtual machine after you remove the other VM. Its a roundabout way, may be slower and not also require that you have the space, but it is another option.

  So, in this case an IP phone should know what is its id vlan, then it can send the packet to its vlan corresponding...

  So, every time we using IP phane and pc on the link L2 then we will differentiate it by managing the different VLANS for voice and data package.

  This is why it is very important for an IP phone to know its id vlan.

  Having recently upgraded to iOS 10, I see that my calendar app has duplicated the calendar of birthdays of hundreds of times - on the Facebook group and my default calendar host group. He has also reproduced my default calendar of hundreds of times (see photos below).

  

  The default calendar House is quite easy to get rid of. I just press "Edit" and remove each one (which is annoyingly slow and tedious, but possible). However the 'Birthdays' calendars can be deleted or removed in this way. There is no option to delete or merge them.

  I have restored the iOS from my phone on iTunes, hoping he would remove (or at least merge) hundreds of Birthday calendar duplicates. However, after restoring my phone with a recent backup to iCloud software, duplicates are always there.

  I think this is a related issue of Windows, because it is the Manager to save the windows file that we are talking about here (right?). You should contact Microsoft for help with this one, I think. You expect to be able to delete entries simply by touching delete on your keyboard when they are concentrated (that is how it goes for the removal of the form entries specific autocomplete in Firefox), but I have not tried.

  My C drive is the partition on the drive of wholesale.

  Total size of the disk is of 500 GB, the distribution is given below:

  C: / Total = 31 GB free = 36.5 MB

  D: / Total = 31 GB free = 47.2 MB

  E: / Total = 97 GB free = 72GB

  F: / Total = 97 GB free = 74GB

  G: / Total = 97 GB free = 52 GB

  H: / Total = 110 free GB = 109GB.

  In fact, this partition are given by the seller, where I bought the computer.

  I don't have the reason for the creation of the partition.

  Unless your needs are * very * rare, it is a huge partition number - much more than almost everyone has or should have. Most people should have either one or two partitions.
