  My certificates can be an inextricable mess, and I need advice on how to clean everything upward.

  (2) would the deletion and starting with affect of certificates and fresh keys multi-folio currently on the App Store application somehow?

  (3) as an incidental question - when update PUSH (NPP) of certificates in the DPS, the dialog box portal application development and Distribution APNs certificates. However, on the side of Apple, the Developer Portal allows for the development and Production of the certs to create. Is it a lack of consistency in terminology, or am I missing something? (Of course, I know that CERT of Distribution is created on the side Apple Dev, they do not appear to be related to the Push services).

  If your push certificate has expired, you should be able to edit it and download it from the Apple Developer Portal, then load it using the dashboard of DPS. This should allow you to send notifications. There is no need to introduce a new version of app Push notifications are not part of the application itself.

  (1) Yes, it is safe to remove your DPS CERT and keys to the Developer Portal and keychain. I did this several times for my applications. It is not necessary, but it's nice.

  (3) Yes, there is a quirk of the terminology. 'Distribution' and 'Production' mean the same thing.

  Try to re - create your certificate to push Production (Distribution) and then transfer to the Notifications of the DPS Dashboard section. You don't need to change one of your other certificates.
