  You must boot from the disc.

  @jpmeek would not change your password without your consent the so the only thing I can think of you may have used a different password, or made a mistake when you initially set up your answer to recover.   earlier today, I upgraded my Mac mini (end 2012) to the latest version of macOS Sierra.

  After 1 hour of use, I realized that many of my plugins FCPX were not working.

  I decided to listen to them and try to downgrade my OS.

  I don't know what to do.
