  I am running questions when it comes to a section marker. To the sub section marker reads 'Objective 1'. If I look at the content of the paragraph, activeDocument.textFrames [x] .paragraphs [y] .silence, I get a space character. It seems obvious to me that "" is not equal to "objective 1".  So, it seems that the paragraph does not point to the special character itself or the content it contains.

  If I try to create a schema of this paragraph the script generates an error. How can I access the 'Objective 1' text that is in the special character? If I right click "objective 1" the GUI gives me an option to "convert numbering to text', of course, is not a method of a standard paragraph.".   Hi Bruce - Thanks for the info. sending only the resized pix effect the quality if the recipient wishes to make prints of the pix. Also, I have experienced by changing the file extension .jpg to, for example, .xxx and this fom seems to stop the pix that are part of the text. The recipient then changes again in the .jpg file extension. Is this likely to cause problems?

  I see post of 2007 where you can't wrap text around an image in Keynote. Is this always the case? Hope not... very disappointing if so.

  There is no tool to wrap text in Keynote. Text wrapping is a tool of print media to maximize space in the column in print, if that's what you try to do, use the Apple's Pages.

  Keynote is a presentation of screen based application, (slide show) so there is very little use for the text wrapping.

  You can do a work around, but it is not perfect:

  • Place the image on the slide

  

  • Place the two shapes on the slide, one for the area of text, image size
  • order click on the two forms;     to select both
  • Format > forms > subtract shapes;     will cut a hole in the greatest shape
  • Paste the text into the larger shape

  Hi there must be many ways to do this, including just draw your screenshot in Illustrator. If you are comfortable with the tool pen which is by far the most accurate way to do it, but its also very long. What I did was to use your perforated CAP and make a selection by using the magnetic lasso tool by using the default settings. This tool works very well for this kind of thing.

  

  Then in the palette drawn convert selection to path.

  

  What you have now is a quick alternative and dirty to the use of the pen tool. Indeed I had to change the path above

  Text on anchored objects wrapping is a bit different from the packaging of objects not anchored. For inline/above the line, the applied film affects the text in the line containing the anchor and all subsequent lines. For custom objects placed, wrap affects the text in the lines after the line that currently holds the anchor (NOT where the anchored object is actually positioned on the page).
