• Impossible to get the page edge animate loading first, any browser

  Problem weird here, people.  I have a web page created on board animate which works very well with "Preview in browser", but does NOT correctly load the time _first_, it is called from the Web site.  It loads only partially (Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari) the first time a non-cached browser tries to load the page.  However, after trying to load the page from that first time, if you go to any other Web site and then come back to my site to load the page, the page loads correctly.  It kills me.  I'm guessing that this behavior will be immediately recognized by someone who can tell me a solution.

  To show this behavior:

  1) go to the http://www.lightisrising.com

  Loads a partial page (without animation in the upper left corner, bottom left, right, and lower right cells).

  2) go to another website, such as Adobe.com

  (3) back to www.lightisrising.com, and the page load and play the videos properly.

  Of course, I need the page to load correctly the FIRST time someone visits it.

  I tested your site and it looks like a simple reload will actually reach your videos to display.  You use edgeHero to play videos?  My best guess is that there is a race condition where the videos are not fully charged, and then edgeHero leaves the video on screen: No.  Once they are cached, the videos loading prior to control, and they will be displayed.  If you look at the files when they are unloaded in a web Inspector like Chrome or Firebug Inspector, CSS has display: none defined on the videos.

  Finally found the problem. You were very much on the right track:

  I must have installed the SDK before, because there is a directory ' blackberry-tablets-sdk - 3.0.0 "here:

  E:\Program Research In Motion\blackberry-tablet-sdk-3.0.0

  When I installed the most recent SDK, a few nights ago, I noticed that the name of the directory was still "blackberry-tablets-sdk - 3.0.0 ', so big.

  Then bam, these problems.

  I finally discovered is that the more recent program default installation:

  Notice something?  No more than I have, but:

  Why the hell would they changed the default installation directory?  What this meant was that my build scripts were still referring to the old search directory E:\Program in Motion\blackberry-tablet-sdk-3.0.0.

• Impossible to get "to Host FTP Upload" to work.

  I have been searching for this problem literally overnight, tried combinations as much as now, I think that there is so much mess downloaded on my site with accidentally creating folder after folder after folder that I have no idea what to do.

  I bought a domain on GoDaddy last year and have just signed up for DreamHost for hosting. The domain is still registered at GoDaddy, and it's a potential issue cause because I'm not sure I entered the name primary, secondary, tertiary of DreamHost server information, in the right place with GoDaddy.

  

  However, for a moment there when I went to my area, (amandaasher.com), there are a placeholder there to DreamHost so that must be a good sign.

  I guess my first question should be how the hell can I erase all the B.S. that I downloaded on my host in the last 12 hours of sitting here trying to understand? I've been using FileZilla and tried to delete everything, but there was a file that would not remove and I feel like I need to start over at this stage.

  Second question is how to actually use this "Upload FTP host."

  What version of Windows 7 do you have? It is 32-bit or 64-bit?

  Have you tried HP support? According to http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=115&prodSeriesId=214599&prodTypeId=15179&objectID=c01909569 here, there is limited support for the 8250 under Win7, which is their way of saying, it may or may not work.

  You can get the driver from here http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=214604&lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15179&prodSeriesId=214599&taskId=135 . Simply choose your version of Win7.

  Many HP products are very picky with their installation procedures. I found that the instructions must be followed strictly in the order as listed, or there may be a problem. If the software has already been installed, it is sometimes best to uninstall it, and then try again. Unfortunately, since most of the documents, it seems the 8200 series was designed more for Mac and Windows.

  I tried using the browser.cache.disk.parent_directory method to move my disk cache, but it does not work.

  Details:

  I did a clean install of 22 Firefox on Vista, and then the following instructions, entered: config, created the key browser.cache.disk.parent_directory and he gave the value of a directory that I created.

• Impossible to get the USB flash drive to work

  I have a new Satellite L500 with Windows 7 and it will not recognize/install the USB flash drives. A msg comes up saying "software device driver has been properly installed. I tried several flash drives - they are OK & work on other machines - including an another Toshiba running Windows 7.

  Other devices work in the USB ports, so the ports are OK.
  Windows cannot resolve the problem, I have checked all USB drivers are updated in Device Manager & made a system of analysis of file without success.
  The Bank recommended a reload & restore factory default - other options?

• Qosmio X 300-11 - impossible to get 1080 p @ 60 Hz to work

  I have a Qosmio X 300 - 11s and little matter how hard I try, I can't do 1080 p at 60 hz.

  In fact the time is not yet available. I choose only 24 p or 30 p on my Full-HD is displayed even if they take over 50 / 60 Hz.
  I have the latest drivers installed for my 9700M GTS, so I'm lost. I'm pretty sure it worked before.

  If you connect your X 300 to an external monitor via an HDMI cable, I recommend first connecting cable. Then turn on the monitor or TV and select the appropriate input channel. Finally turn on the laptop and normally it should automatically recognize the HDMI connection.

  If this isn't the case, you can use the FN + F5 key combination to switch between monitors.

  In addition, last Toshiba display drivers should work because they are pre-tested so I recommend this driver.

• Impossible to get Trio A1000 MP3 player to work with Windows XP Pro

  I have an A1000 Trio MP3 player and have a problem trying to download MP3s to it. The computer recognizes the device and says it's working properly, but I see no activity when I try to download MP3s to the unit. I've updated Windows Media Player to Media Player 11, but still have playback in Media Player: "Device Connect" when I try to synchronize files with the mp3 player.

  Your Trio is plug-and-play. So, go into Device Manager and uninstall all your USB hubs.

  Re-start.

  XP will be re-installed the necessary software automatically. Once everything has "calmed down", plug your Trio. XP will install the software (again).

  You should then be able to sync.

  No: If you have any USM devices that need to install specific drivers, just plug their and XP will do what is necessary. If not, install them manually.

  If this does not work, go back to WMP10, then re-install WMP11.

I seem to be impossible to get a substring of the URL - the String.substring (int, int) method does not appear to return the expected results.   There is little of the magic that is you fool. Basically, if you change out.println () System.out.println () you will see TWO URLS begin with satellitescheme: / /. What is happening, this is the URL which are produced by the ISU Sites still are built with a satellitescheme://...#satellitefragment. Then, what is Server RHN Satellite will process the result and replace the strange chain with one that fits your URL assembler (and in this case, you use the GSF assembler).

  In your code of substring, you are breaking the special chain and are cutting the encoded URL. RHN Satellite Server does not see the prefix and the suffix combined, so it does not have to make the substitution.

  That's why Your ' e see what see Your ' e.

  A big question is however, why you try to process the URL generated by the API. I guess that sort of substitution will happen, but that should not be done. What you trying to do? I'm sure we can find the right way to achieve your goals.
