  You must upgrade the IPS module to the latest version first before that you can update the signature. The current version of 7.0000 E1 software is very old, and the latest available version is now 7.0.5a (E4). E1 engine is very old and is not compatible with the signature that runs on the E4 engine.

  You need to upgrade the module running at least version 5.1 (6) E3 before you can upgrade to 7.0.5a (E4).

  Hello

  I was installing a new printer Zebra. He ended that the pilot needed to be updated and when I try to do it I get "the data area passed to a system call is too small". The printer driver is by UPS to their Worldship, but the tech tell me that the problem is mine to solve. I can't find anything about this error with the exception of SQL Server 2000. However, I am under Vista Business. Any help on that would be great because I am now without a printer because of this crazy problem. Thank you and have a great day!

• my computer has two network icons, 1394 and con LAN. Either, especially the icon of LAN began to move to items being passed in the system tray when I start the computer.

  I have a new and strange behavior on my computer. Until recently, the two icons, 1394 connection and LAN icons always used to appear in the whole system tray after the computer has been started. Is no longer the case. Whenever I start the computer, I don't see the icon of LAN but discover that it attributed to items passed. Then I open the properties of the network connection, uncheck 'Show the icon in the system tray', click Apply + OK, then I open the properties, check the box again, click Apply + OK; only the LAN icon is displayed in the system tray. I'd appreciate any help with this problem. The situation is sometimes the reverse case, i.e., LAN icon appears in the system tray, but I find the icon to connect 1394 points ago. I put the properties in the Start Menu, the toolbar always showed.

• Impossible to pass primary and secondary monitors

  After the upgrade of thinkvantage Productivity Center I can either spend my main monitor.  My secondary monitor works, but only in mode "Extend my Windows desktop on this monitor.".  If I try to click on the button "Use this device as the monitor main." on the top control panel a few whites on the monitor and switches to my main monitor again.

  At the same time, I lost the ability to use the Fn + f7.  Pushing this combination has no effect.  If I pass the centre of productivity and choose Configuration from the device / select display settings nothing happens.  It seems that upgrading the productivity Center has beaten some program is in charge of the evolution of the monitors.

  everytime I try to upgrade my MacBook Pro, it indicates an internal error prevented the update from happening. I tried everything I can think of. The previous operating system installation and try again to reset the NVRAM, I'm confused as to what might prevent installation to compete successfully. And advice would be greatly appreciated.

  Before going through the troubleshooting steps, I recommend to backup your data using Time Machine. The steps that I will recommend should not erase your data, but it's always a good idea to ensure that your data is safe.

  Use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac

  The next thing that I recommend you do is try to repair your hard drive using disk utility. It is possible that an error on the hard disk can cause the error you get. You can use the next section of this article to help with this:

  Try disk utility

  Follow these steps to use the disk utility app to check or repair a disk.

  1. If you use OS X Lion or later, start the system recovery or restoration of Internetcomputer. If you are using an older version of Mac OS X your computer is equipped with a Mac OS X installation disc, insert the installation disc and restart the computer while holding the C key instead.
  2. When your computer has finished starting, choose utility drive in the Utilities window, or in the installation menu if you started from an installation disc.

• Portege R700 - impossible to pass to Windows 10

  I have a Portege r700 with original Windows 7 OEM installation.

  Windows 7 is updated and program update Windows upgrade me to Windows 10 offer.

  The upgrade process begins very well, download & pre-configures all the stuff, and then finally ask me to reboot the system to continue with the upgrade.

  After a few seconds, the restart process is launched and load... the current Windows 7 system, saying that there was an error during the upgrade process.

  I did some tests; I'm also a fan of Linux, so I tried to boot the system with a LiveCD of my distributions preferred: after loading of the quick menu asking what I want to do (the liveCD boot, installation, diagnose, etc), it restarts... and show me again the quick menu (quick menu is GRUB, kernel functionality has not been loaded right now).

  I understand that 'something' (and I guess it's system restore Toshiba) let me start on something other than the original partition, preventing the upgrade of Windows 10.

  I was offered the free update on my R700-12U and R930-1DK Toshibas--and did the updates without any problem. However, if I understand it right, the R700 is not on the list of evolutionary units, but it has worked very well on my own, from up-to-date W7.

  Ive got a laptop 2005 Satellite a80-135 that worked very well until I tried to format the HDD after a performance of Ram boost operation (kingston 1 gb Ram module).

  Just after that, the computer started showing software problems and finally crashed;
  So I decided to reinstall the entire operating system yet. and here, I found the problem I really hope you can help me

  The thing is that I can't format my hard drive to my cd player (with recovery CD in) when the machine is restarted.
  In theory, start the Panel menu should appear after the computer reboot with the C key simountaneously key but nothing happens.

  Simply, the C button the STRANGE start.
  You can also try to press F12 after the laptop has been powered.
  Then the start menu should appear on the screen and then you could choose the ODD (optical disc) in order to boot from the CD.

  If this is not possible, the question is perhaps related to WEIRD malfunction or recovery disk.
  Maybe the CD/DVD drive cannot read the disc properly and so the laptop can not boot from the disc.
  You can try to copy the recovery CD using another computer and might try to start using the copied CD.
  If it does not the problem might be related to the WEIRD failure.
