Impossible to send mails in the mail application

I use app mail windows 8 for over a year and all of a sudden this afternoon, I can't send an e-mail.  Using Hotmail, the message goes directly into the Outbox and sits there. He gave no indication that the mail has been sent not, later during the search, back, I discovered that the mails are in the outlet box... Can not remove them here either, because in the meantime I sent them via AOL... who has worked

Not too hapy with Windows 8... Ben many problems, especially after the upgrade to 8.1.  I had to go back to 8.0

Thank you for any help... I am a computer dummy

Hello Bardovon,

Thanks for posting your question on the forum of the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

You made any hardware or software changes on your computer before the show?

Thank you for details on the issue.

This problem may occur either whether app files are corrupted or the mail settings are incorrect.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

Method 1:
Run Troubleshooter app and check.
See this link:

If this does not help, then use method 2.

Method 2:
I suggest you check the e-mail settings. Please see this link:

  • How to get to the event with a click on send in the Messages application

    Hi all

We write code in my application to get the content (, object, body.. data) while clicking on "Send" menuitem in the application "Messages"...

Or can show our own guest while clicking 'Send' element in the 'Messages' application to copy the details of the e-mail (messages) in my application...

    Thanks in advance...

You can place an ApplicationMenuItem on the program of Messages, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.

You can also try adding a FolderListener in the mail store, then you get to announce to any e-mail message hit the folder. The subject of the message has a "isInbound()" method that will tell you if the message is incoming or outgoing.

See the documentation for the API to Store, FolderListener, Message, and FolderEvent.

  • My password changed in the e-mail application does not recognize my iPhone 5 s.  It allows me to send an email.

I have an iPhone 5 s (purchased nine just since more than one year) with fully updated iOS.  I use my email address from Comcast with the mail of iOS application.  Recently, I had to change my password for my Comcast address on my laptop.  Then, my phone, I deleted the address and its info. from the application, and then reloaded the address with the new password. When I tried to send an email from my phone, the app said that the password was incorrect.  So, I deleted the email address again, and then again he returned with the new password.  It would not always send messages.  I then reset all the settings on my phone, reinstated the Comcast address with his new password and my phone will not send the mail from the application, which indicates that the password is still incorrect.  What should I have to do in order to make the app function properly again?

    Thank you for your help.

Your user name and password of e-mail appears in two different places. First to receive mail that is listed in the account for incoming mail and then send mail, which is listed in the section SMTP or outgoing mail. When you go into settings > Mail and then select the Comcast account, if you access the SMTP server, is there more than one list? If you attempt to delete an account and then add it back, sometimes it may create multiple lists in the section SMTP server. You will need to select the e-mail account, and then select the account, go to the outgoing mail server section and click on the SMTP server section. See what is listed for the primary server and then see if something is listed under other SMTP servers. If nothing else is listed under another heading, make sure that the backend says 'ON', tap on the primary SMTP server, make sure to go there and make sure that the password is changed, use SSL is on and authentication is set to password. The port of your server for Comcast IMAP should also read 465.

  • Mail application Windows8 impossible to reinstall the 0x80073d05 error code

    Hello

Yesterday my mail app froze. I tried to restart the pc several times without success. All other apps worked fine. Only when I opened the mail app it freezes.

I uninstalled it with app calendar, messages and people.

When I tried to reinstall I got 0x80073d05 error code

I tried Microsoft fix - the program went very well and said it fixed a few problems. I restarted the computer and tried to reinstall the same mail app error message.

I ran the sfc/scannow command prompt as an administrator. I got the message that he could not fix it.

I have cleared the cache store with wsreset.exe

I can install other applications like yahoo mail without any problems. Only the Mail app, I can not install.

    Please notify.

    -sirot

    This is now fixed.

Uninstall application mail to all users, and administrator.

If you have previously had a user account and removed (by using the management of user accounts), but kept records like I did. Delete these profiles of account as below (step 1)

    1. I used to have another user account and I deleted it earlier. I found that I kept the files of this account.

Initially, I tried to remove the folder from the file Explorer (file c:\users\Name) user account. There are two files impossible to remove. I had to remove it from the command prompt. Then this folder account user as c:\users again and again after deleting it several times. Then I connected to the default Administrator account and deleted the user account from the file Explorer folder. I disconnected administrator and logged into my usual account. This stopped the record of user appear again.

Even after uninstalling application mail - folder for communications app existed. Here's what I did:

    2. I renamed the communicationsapps folder in the path:

    C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Packages

(I could not remove the folder - I got error that folder is not empty.) This is why I renamed it).

After that, I have reset the cache to store windows and reinstalled the mail application. It worked. I don't know which of the previous step contributed. I think this is step 2.

  • Cannot send attachments photo from the mail application, error: contact service provider

Original title: Windows 8 will not send message with attached photo using the mail application.

Whenever I try to send a message with attached photos, it does not.  I get an error message telling me to contact my ISP.  What could be wrong?

    Hi Alex,

This problem may occur because of in-correct settings in the Mail application.

Please help me with the following information related to this issue:

    1. E-mail account which you added to the mail application? What is Outlook.com/Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail?
    2. This problem is specific to a particular attachment? If so, what is the file size of the attachment?
    3. Are you able to successfully send an e-mail without attachments?

Try to access your e-mail account via web browser and try to send mail with attached photos and check the status.

If you are able to send mail via webmail, no doubt the issue could be with the mail application.

I suggest you to run the troubleshooter of app. The apps store is an automated tool that we have developed to deal with a number of known issues that may prevent applications from running correctly. This troubleshooting automatically solves some issues including the suboptimal screen resolution, incorrect security or account etc. settings. Dear anyone who can help,

The WINDOWS for OUTLOOK MAIL APP is sending emails problems. I try to send an email, but he finds himself stuck in my Outbox, and follows an error message telling me to "CHECK WITH MY SUPPLIER."

"" "I noticed he says 'myemailaddress@Outlook ' is not available", but I can't work out why. Is this a problem at the end of servers or mine?

It was working fine before and had there is a little more than two weeks, when the error occurred. (I don't know exactly, because I've been away)

I have no other synchronized e-mails (Gmail for example) it is only the account of a main outlook that I use to manage everything on my PC.

  • Mail application not send messages on MacBook Pro (stuck in the Outbox)

Have a MacBook Pro (late 2011), running Version OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 (but I had this problem for months, maybe further on OS X Yosemite (i.e. I don't remember this problem starting after an update of the OS)

2.4 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB of DDR3 1333 MHz memory processor

I have two accounts in Mail Version 9.3 (3124) - my iCloud email and my Yahoo email. 90% of all works, I can receive messages, delete messages, move messages, etc. However sending my Yahoo account does not work to Send Mail app in my iCloud account doesn't work (even if it's not instant - just sent a test and he was sitting in my Outbox for about 6 minutes;) I got my iPhone running stopwatch, but it resets twice as it is wont to do since download iOS 10, but that's a topic for ANOTHER post), however anything sent from my account Yahoo is located in the Outbox for DAYS (usually until I realize that I forgot the problem, silently curse me and copy - paste the message via the site Web of Yahoo in Chrome).

I tried Yahoo to disconnect and reconnect it. I tried to remove the 'sandbox' suggestion of Linc Davis here: Mail is stuck in my Outbox?

  • Unable to send mail from Yahoo mail Surface RT application

For several weeks, the Soft Surface mail has posted a message saying that it is currently impossible to send e-mail on my Yahoo account.

    He receives mail from Yahoo.

My other devices (desktop PC, Blackberry) had no problem.  In addition, there is no problem ending by email from the application of Surface IE.

So, what gives?  I have no idea to ask yahoo on this issue.  In addition, I suspect that it would be unproductive to ask them.  There must be something on the Surface since the other devices work correctly.

I can't be the users only Surface like that wrong with Yahoo mail.

Does anyone have any info or suggestions?

I could solve this problem.  I removed the Yahoo account since the mail app and then it added back as if it were new.  At least for the moment, which seems to have solved the problem and I can send by e-mail.  I'm still puzzled why it happened, but maybe I should be glad it is fixed with minimal effort.

With respect to the application of mail, I love because it is bigger and clearer to read and use than using IE page.  Yes, IE works, but it's just a little small and so be more careful when clicking, etc.  More difficult to use the IE window without a mouse or a stylus. I normally use a mouse but occasionally led her to use the keyboard with no mouse on the screen and find my fingers are clumsy to hit the right spot.  The mail application is therefore easier in this regard.  But I agree IE works fine.

    Thank you.

Update - see later post.  It happened again, the next day!

  • Problem with the mail application after upgrading to El Capitan

    Hello

I've recently updated to snow leopard at el capitan on a 2009 macbook pro.

I can't send e-mail from the mail since the upgrade application.

Incoming mail server address is grayed out in the settings preference of apps under 'Account Information'. It reads "p02 - imap.mail.me.com. My full username iCloud is also grayed out. It doesn't seem to be a way to fix this. I believe that the correct server address should be "imap.mail.me.com".

The outgoing server address is "stmp.mail.me.com".

ICloud Drive switch makes no difference. I also tried to remove the iCloud account on the 'Accounts' page under preferences app mail and setting up the account again. Also makes no difference.

I can send emails with mail on my iPhone application and receive emails on my mac and iPhone.

Any suggestions on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    See you soon

You go to System Preferences-> Internet accounts to fix the details of the server. These things are more fixed inside the Mail application. It may seem strange, but it makes sense, since the accounts are used for email and other services. Now, is there a central location for this.

  • The choice of 'FROM' disappeared when sending mail.

The 'FROM' selection disappeared when sending mail so I can't choose any alias, and all mail is now sent from my main account 'ME '.

All aliases receive mail perfectly ok.

    Grateful for any ideas.

Start with this Port number.   Port 80 is usually reserved for HTTP.    Try the 25.

Oh.  They do it?  But no information for WLMail, so you have to adapt...

In particular, I think, note this:

NOTE: "smtpout.secureserver.net" is a relay SMTP server. To use this server to send e-mail messages, you must enable SMTP relay on your e-mail account. Connect to your management page email accounts to set up SMTP relay. If you have not set up SMTP relay and allows it to your Internet Service Provider (ISP), you can use the server of mail from your Internet Service provider. Contact your Internet service provider for this setting.

  • Cannot send Messages in the other e-mail account in the Mail of Microsoft Surface app

I'm trying to set up a different e-mail account on my PC of Microsoft Surface in the Mail application.  Initially, I got the message ' to use this account, you must install a digital certificate on this pc... ».  I managed to fix that by disabling the "Server requires SSL" for both the incoming and outgoing server, which also changed the number of outgoing port 465 to 25.

However, even though my account is now populated with and receive messages, I can't send all e-mail messages.  They just stay in my Outbox and the message " is not available" appears briefly in the upper right corner.  I've fiddled with the account settings (like changing the port to 587) but its made no difference.

How can I get other outside e-mail accounts of my @outlook.com to work in the Mail application?

I was able to find a configuration that worked:

Incoming mail server: put your mail server normal but specify port 143 for Imap

    Uncheck the incoming SSL

Outgoing mail server: put your mail server normal but enter the port 587 for Imap

    Uncheck the outgoing SSL

Uncheck the box outgoing server requires authentication. (because Mail first checks the email, your server will allow you to send an email)

After this configuration, save it, and then come back to check, since the first time I did it, he returned some settings, but after switching between them, it was ok.

After doing this, messages have been sent and no more will not questions. I hope this helps.
