  I understand that you have problems of print quality when printing documents from your Windows 7 computer to your HP Photosmart e-all-in-one printer. I would like to help you to solve this problem today. What is unusual is that the old documents are very well printing from your computer. This leads me to believe that instead of a printer problem, you encounter a computer problem as printers print only what they are "told" to the computer. That being said, I'll have you begin troubleshooting by printing a stand-alone report on the quality of your printer to make sure that all cartridges are print correctly. Please follow the steps below.

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.
  2. Tap the button of the ATM () next to the icon of configuration () in the lower left corner of the control panel.
  3. Press the right arrow key () and select Tools, and then tap OK.
  4. Press the right arrow key () to select Print Quality Report, then tap OK. The printer prints the report.

  

  • If this report prints with perfect quality of black / color: That the problem you are experiencing is not caused by your printer. On the contrary, there is something on the computer where this conflict of impression. To make sure that the printer is properly installed on your computer please can I you click here to download and run the HP print and scan of the doctor tool. This tool will run on your computer and the "difficulty of printing" questions for you. If connection, software or driver conflicts turns out that the HP print and scan of the doctor tool will attempt to resolve these conflicts for you.
  • If this report is printed with poor print quality: That the problem you are having is caused by your printer. To fix this problem of print quality can you please click here. When the support document opens please do run three Solution, Solution, five, and six and seven. This includes all sub-steps under the listed Solutions. Once the diagnosis is complete quality test please print again.

  First of all, you can try to backup or copy the current files of the fax or the folder itself to an external device such as a Flash DRIVE or CD etc.

  On the Windows 7 computer, open Windows Fax and Scan application navigate to tools > Fax settings > advanced.  You should find an entry for archive fax (inbox\sent points).  You can make a note of the default location and browse to the location and settle fax files. You can also create a folder for fax files and change the default location to a folder that you create.

• Photosmart 7520-e cannot receive fax fax only computers

  I tried everything tech support told me to do it so far.  Hard reset, unplug the power supply, change fax speed but always that nothing does.  I can receive faxes when they come directly from a computer, but when a personal fax machine tries, sending fax machine rings and rings and on my end it never receives.  It says failed to receive.  I have the auto answer set to 2.

  Everything I did!  The text of fax says everything is fine but it is not very well!  I use an old fax to the fax machine.  This HP is useless!

  I have a cable for Officejet 4500 all-in-One.  For some reason, he was acting kind of odd.  One of my friends wanted to fax documents.  I turned on the printer waiting to happen to him.  This thing suddenly started printing of old faxes received two weeks earlier.  I've never touched a thing.

  When my friend arrived, I went to fax his paperwork.  For some reason any thing would take the first page, however, stop the connection until the other seven would be sent.  I've set up again and it's the same thing with the second page.  A third time brought no action what so ever.  The document feeder would not move even the pages using.  I thought it was because the phone has been off the hook, but it does not solve the problem no more.

  The only thing that he would make a rattling noise when moving even not the paperwork through.  I don't really know what to do with this thing.  Help, please.  Thank you.

• Connection of fax HP PS-7520 in a different room of the answering machine?

  Just bought the HP PS-7520 all-in-One (print/scan/copy/fax/web) for my mother and have a question that never appeared to me before about the logistics of setting up the fax.

  1. its fax and telephone share the same single phone line.  (No other devices uses the phone line.)

  2. telephone service is digital, I think (if it matters).

  The old fax (12 + years old but functional) has always hung in the room same base w main phone (answering w).  Now, however, being a part of the all-in-one device, the fax is located in another room (his computer HP Envy (w) so that the phone integrated answering machine w base isn't nearby into the traditional circuit.

  Q: can you that fax be hung using one of the basics of phone in the House that does not have the built-in answering machine?

  Fax can be connected to any extension, to have the answering machine pick up first, either off 'auto response' on the fax, or set the "ring to answer" to a number larger than the answering machine. I would fix the number 6 (answering machines affect usually 3 or 4).

  Hi Volker Goercke,

  Unfortunately, the Windows XP machine faxes cannot be imported in Windows7.

  You can save the old fax files (.tif files) as a backup for future reference.

• Import faxes sent and received

  I can not access old faxes sent and received by using fax for Windows 7 and the scanning application. Win XP had an import feature in Fax Console, but this doesn't seem to be present in Win7.  I have correctly sent and received new faxes under Win 7 and these are posted as expected, however, even if I copy my old .tif Fax files manually into the new appropriate directories, they still are not displayed.

  I ended up creating a folder (for example, the "old fax machines") obvious under my documents on Win7 and copying it all files Windows XP fax.  I'm looking for a fax in the application fax and scan first, then in this folder.  Not quite the same as that of all "under one roof", but works...

  Please contact us. I understand that you would like to know how to view the history of the analysis.

  Unfortunately, there is no option on the printer to display the history of analysis. However, if you have analyzed the documents on the computer in the scanned folder, you can sort the documents by date to view documents that are analyzed.

  However, if you remove the scanned documents or looking for historical analysis on the printer, the option is not available.

• LaserJet M475DN: LaserJet M475DN does not

  I'm in a funky difficult situation. I am troubleshooting a LaserJet M475DN from 2000 miles away. I'm in the Rio Grande Valley of southern Texas, 20 minutes from the Mexico. The printer is in a suburb of Buffalo, NY, 20 minutes from the Canada. I try to avoid a full reset for obvious reasons.

  The user attempts to send a fax from his PC, but cannot. During my session of telephone inquiry, I learned that:

  • The machine is unresponsive to 100%.
  • She cannot go beyond the main screen on the screen.
  • Run the Windows troubleshooting utility was useless (Surprise, surprise)
  • Restart the printer & the connected PC did not help.
  • There is no error message.
  • It can not print anything to this printer from any computer.
  • The printer is visible on the network.
  • The phone line works because they have connected the old fax machine temporarily.
  • When the 475 was connected to the telephone line and a test call is made to the line just rang but there was no response from the printer.

  Where we are at this time, it's got sound turn the printer off & Unplug the unit for a few minutes see if that clears all that is causing the problem.

  I really don't know what else to do at this point. Wanted to get this publication in the case where the hard reboot does not work. As soon as I get the results of this I'll post back.

• How can I see printer photosmart hp 5520

  I'm sorry you have a problem with the documents of the printer being stuck in the queue.

  You can view the queue by going into the properties of the printer.

  1. click on Start Menu

  2. go into devices and printers

  3 right CLICK on the printer

  4. choose see what's printing

  5. This will open the print queue of your printer.

  If you want to remove, click the PRINTER (on top left) and choose Remove.

  After that, you can try to run the doctor print and scan and check the results.

  I have upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8, 1.   Printer still works, but have no ability old FAX.  Tried to re-unstall using OJJ4600_Full_14.exe, but when it extracted and everything I can get loads are the output screen.   Can anyone help me to restore the full capacity of my All In One?  Thank you

  The OJJ4600_Full_14.exe file is not compatible with Windows XP to Windows 7, for your operting system.

  Don't forget to go in Control Panel > devices and printers and delete any registered queue of the prior series J4600 software installation.

  My trusty old fax died finally after 12 years of service.  I still have a lot of HP 26 black ink cartridges... I have looked at the models supported on the side of the box, but have not been able to locate one of these models in the stores.  I was looking for a copier/fax function but will consider the all-in-one.  Someone at - it suggestions?  Thanx

  There is no active printer or models AIO who use the #26 cartridge.  You might consider looking in thrift shops or on eBay, the older printers of this vintage often go for $10 / $20.

• Mouse tracking

  I have a problem with the tracking of the mouse during the operation of the fall of my perfume custom in a setting of text as follows.

  In this way, I am able to draw a sign of insertion in the text index calculated.

  
  This API works fine but the impression of old Caret remains in the frame during the movement of the mouse so many caret appears in the framework.

  
  Can someone please suggest me methods to remove the old print or any other API that can perform the movement of the cursor at the specified index or with the movement of the mouse.

  (1) everything is connected to drag and drop functionality.

  (2) I see that indesign has this mouse analyze the behavior when drag us text from another application and drop it on a text box (a cursor follows the target location)
