incorrectly installed printer cartridge

HP PSC 1610, old but prints well.

I installed the print cartridge # 99 (ink photo) in the left side of the door-cartridges instead of the right side.  My printer told me that it is not the right cartridge.   Now, I'm unable to physically remove the new cartridge $ 40 of my printer and so cannot use the cartridge or the printer.

Is it possible to get him out without causing damage and excessive force?

I'd love to help appreciate.  Thanks :~)

The seizure is a small crest on top and toward the front of the cartridge plastic.  If you look at the color and black cartridges, you will see that the seizure is different.  The #99 cartridge matches the black cartridge.  There is a corresponding plastic piece in the carriage of the printer which is the key to the right cartridge.  If the wrong cartridge is put into a slot of the ridge on the cartridge's plastic can slide upwards and under the locking mechanism, blocking the cartridge in place.  Study the cartridges you have the printer and look at the transport for the black cartridge slot see how the photo cartridge is blocked.  You should be able to clear the cartridge locked down with a blunt object like the handle of a spoon (gently) and then be able to release the cartridge.  Make sure you do not move the cartrdige, as this could damage the 'bumps' on the flex circuit.

  • OfficeJet Pro X476W - missing 0xc6fd0013 message, or incorrectly installed print head not detected,

Hi, everything has been good with this printer up to a couple of days. Whist, the right kind of noises - it just stopped printing, or sometimes {in response to requests for print) spat a blank page or both.

I tried to clean the print head, but he travels just a loop and does nothing, if the wall point, deleted and reinserted cartridge, removed market turned and replaced the duplex roller, blah blah - all the usual stuff.

But... I've never seen such a script error before - this is worrying. The printer just died on me?

If so, is it possible to replace the printhead on one of them?

No indication of how to solve the problem please?

    Thanks in advance...

I couldn't find a service manual for the OJ Pro x476w or the other.  It is usually the case for OfficeJet products but I was under the assumption that HP was poised to release a service manual for the X Pro series since his business are more than the normal OJ.

I also don't seem to be able to view the guide to normal use of the HPs site right now.  My hope was to search through it for clues as to how to complete the resettlement of the print heads, as there is usually a section small maintnenance included in the documentation.

Given the nature of this problem and what I heard of HP engineers that the printhead from the printer table must have a life that survives to the printer.  It is supposed to be enough printheads on eachother table backup in the case of breakdowns that users are not supposed to notice the difference.  Even through the printer is out of warranty HP may be interested in helping you with the picture of the print head.  I give them a call and see if they can offer any assistance.

Another idea would be to find a seller of parts and ask them if they have an array of replacement for your printer print head.  If they could have some instructions on how to install that you could use to reinstall your current table.  Googling autour, I was not able find parts online so this is perhaps a good reason to call HP and ask for suggestions on where to find spare parts.

  • Message "install the black print cartridge.

I installed my new LaserJet Pro M127fn MFP printer.  However, even if I have the cartridge properly into the printer, the above message keeps appearing.  I tried a hard reboot several times, but the message continues to appear, and I'm unable to print.   What causes this problem?

There could be some left on the toner packaging. Please try the steps outlined in this guide below, if all goes well he will clear the error

Toner blinking or 'Install black print cartridge' Message is displayed on the control panel

If this does not work, and given that the printer is brand new, you can also contact HP in North America at 1-800-474-6836 support or find the local for your country here phone number: http://welcome.hp.com/country/w1/en/support.html please look for the category 'technical support after you buy '.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8630: how to install additional color on the 8630 printer cartridges

I just bought an Officejet Pro 8630 with additional color print cartridges.  I went through the instructions but I do not understand where they tell me to insert additional color cartridges.  I've looked everywhere but I still can't find where they need to be installed.  I installed the original color of 3 and 1 black cartridge supplied with the printer in the tray as shown, but when he got to the extra, I'm lost.  I can't find the instructions to install these additional color cartridges anywhere.

    Hello

You cannot install additional color cartridges, the printer uses 4 ink cartridges (black, yellow, Magenta and Cyan).

Additional color cartridges included in the box are intended for future use, once the original ink cartridges is exhausted.

    Kind regards

This means the printer unable to detect inserted toner there. You may need to try the steps below:

    1 reinsert / reinstall toner.

    2. If the error persists, remove the toner and open all trys to inspect is there foreign objects such as paper clips or paper debris...

    3. clean the smart chip (color gold).

    4. are there any toner alternatives to try? This procedure will be allows to refine the ink/printer problem.

  • How to disable the annoying message "Printer cartridges no HP installed" on Windows 7?

How to disable the annoying message "Printer cartridges no HP installed" on Windows 7? I have a HP Officejet 6500 has more and there is a way to disable those annoying pop ups. First of all, why HP can't fix their software to display only 1 message. If I turn on my printer, I get about 5 popups when the 3-minute delay. Is - this embarrassing? You bet, I do not turn off my printer more to avoid these messages. There must be a registry entry that I can delete gladly. Ideas? If you are an employee of HP, please do not give the Conference on "genuine cartridges" and how you take care of your printer. I've had my printer for 7 years and never had a problem with cartridges not HP. They are all made in China.

This isn't a bad idea, but this does not resolve the issue. There are many complaints from customers about these annoying messages. All HP needs to do is to say to their developers to add a function to disable this feature. What is a marketing thing? Yes, it's a boring marketing question that should really be fixed. It's like Windows display constantly that your device drivers are not fully tested. Of course, when a customer buys a product at a lower price, they take this risk. I hate to be notified 365 days a year that my cartridges are not authentic.

  • LaserJetPro M201dw: Error Message on new HP LASERJET PRO M201dw - "install the black print cartridge.

Hi, we have a new printer HP LaserJetPro M201dw. We put up this morning, following the instructions as stated in the manual, but the printer keeps blinking and say "install the black print cartridge or clear jam."

The printer has never been used, so there is no jams, and the ink cartridge was too brand new and a black cartridge HP official. The printer does nothing, it doesn't print, I can't do a cleaning page, it simply does not work. I tried resetting, disconnected from the power supply from the mains and put it back, and we tried a second new ink cartridge, he pulled several times and it still says "install the ink cartridge. I is not a jam in the printer at all. I tried following the recommended steps for others who have had the same problem, but always without success.

The printer has been installed successfully on my Windows Vista computer, but the same error message appears on my computer when I try to print directly from the computer.

I would be grateful for any suggestion. Thank you very much.

You probably have a joint expedition on something.  It really is a common thing, now it's HP shipped toner in printers take the tray, toner, open everything. Tilt the machine upward, look inside, etc.  Use a flashlight if you have not entered of lights in the room.

If it's blue or orange, a transport lock.  It could be as simple as a piece of tape, a plastic tie or a block of expanded polystyrene (white).

  • Office Pro 8000: Cannot Print/Out of ink error even after installing new cartridge.

When I tried to use my printer a few days ago, I received an error message "can't Print Can: ink" on the magenta cartridge.  I had used the printer a few days before and had not received a low ink warning.  It seemed suspicious to me that I would have received an empty cartridge error message without having previously received a low cartridge warning.  The cartridges yellow and cyan read 70% complete - all 3 were original cartridges.

I bought a new cartridge 940XL magenta and installed according to the instructions.  Now, I get a message that the new 940XL cartridge is empty.  I can shake the old cartridge 940 and hear liquid inside.  Obviously, the new cartridge is also complete.  I tried to electric bike, reinstall the software, etc., without change of status.  If I swap back between the 940 old and new cartridge 940XL, they are correctly identified by type on my screen as the 940 or 940XL.  Because of the way the problem is presented, I don't think it is a cartridge problem.

Of course, problem first awaken on May 8, and my warranty expired on 26 April.  Any suggestions?

I solved my problem, what was obviously a lack of factory Assembly.  I looked inside my printer with a flashlight in the area where the ink cartridges are installed and found sprayed inside the printer magenta ink.  I disassembled the printer and found that the magenta line had been damaged during installation.  There are four tubes of ink that out by behind the ink cartridges, can do a U turn back toward the front of the printer.  Just after the bend, they do an another elbow top neighborhoods.  It is at this point that I found the damaged magenta line, directly above a screw on the right side of the housing of the ink cartridge.  The lines are in a very narrow passage and are held in place by several guards, moulded plastic.  It seems that the lines have been in place in the guardians, then the screws inserted from the top.  As I said, there is a tight passage, and it would be very easy to damage the line of ink right here if the lines have not been carefully selected to insert the screws when mounting.

To solve the problem, I removed about 1/4 inch line damaged magenta ink.  I cut the line with a sharp razor, carefully to avoid collapsing the line or causing burrs to the hose.  I then placed approximately 3/4 "heat self-sealing tube on one end of the line of ink heat shrink.  Then I connected to the line with a small piece of plastic tube rigid of the handle with a swab of cotton, which was a perfect fit and comfortable on the line of ink.  Making sure not to cut the tube of ink or cause other damage, gently twisted the line of ink back until the ends have butted up inside the splice of cotton swab.  I then positioned the shrink tube over splice and it shrunk with a hair dryer.  Heat shrink tube, I used a hot melt glue applied to the Interior, which has helped more away making a watertight splice.  Again, it is not a lot of space, so the splice should remain small.

I reassembled the printer, reinstalled ink cartridges and powered by the printer.  After the normal, long time running, I printed full color sheets and everything was fine.  Already that I had installed the cartridge magenta watch now that it is complete, and the remaining cartridges also read the levels they had before disassembly.

  • Problem installing HP Photo Print Cartridge in my HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-one 99

Simply, I can't understand how to install this cartridge. I think I am following the rules of installation, but it do not go and stay. Now I see that there is an extra room in the box of the cartridge. Just to say AF Ref. 5064-4593 and t here are no instructions except a barely visible figure on the side. It looks like a wagon load of addition for the actual print cartridge. Am I supposed to put in some way as well into the printer?  I could not find the visuals showing how to do this.

I thought that I should use the 99 cartridge, but maybe wrong that my interpretation of another answer is correct. That said to use it with a different print cartridge that my current 74XL. Even if I do not receive the second correct cartridge, I still need to know how to get the 99 in the printer, if I am to use it.  According to online HP and the HP print cartridge box, this 99 cartridge is compatible with the printer.

    Thank you.

    A few things:

The extra room is a "cellar" it is used to store the photo cartridge (or the balck cartrdige when the photo cartridge is in the printer).   This keeps the open cartridge do not dry out.

The #99 cartridge replaced the black cartridge, it is used with the color cartridge.  Make sure you try to put the #99 cartridge into the slot using the cartridge #74 black, not the location of the color.

  • HELP to the installed print head is not intended for use this product, or it may be damaged

Help - please, I get a msg that says: "the installed print head is not intended for use in this product, or it may be damaged. I was trying many solutions I found on my search but nothing doesn't work.

I was able to find the right answer to the problem I had with my printer. The printer that I have by the way is a HP Officejet 6500 E709a model.

Here is the solution is simple:

The print head is the device where sit the ink cartridges.  It may be incorrectly installed.

Remove the ink cartridges (carefully, you can get ink on yourself).  Now using the system of grey lock on the right side of the cart, remove and re - install the print head.  Shake a little before lowering the lock wall.

Now, re - install the ink cartridges.

I had to do this process 2 times because the first time did not work. Make sure that when you remove the print head, the area is clean, try to remove the very careful, a little dust and I hope it will work for you also.
