  I changed my system preloaded Home basic to Vista Ultimate, all the drivers are installed and seams are functioning normally.   Note:  You should have at least 1 other MediaSmart software installed (any) before installing this.

  enter in the display property, do a right-click on the desktop, then go monitors-> setting advanced-> screen-> select on display. This should work for Vista and XP.

  Note:

  Before installing the new drivers make sure to uninstall the drivers already.

  Something that I found during the search of a solution, works fine for me

  Please follow these steps. And until you do, it does not work is because there is an error in the. JS script that is compiled into the Lenovo installation package. For some reason it does not replace the generic driver which is installed with the windows updates.

  1. delete all the Nvidia drivers.

  2 restart the computer.

  3. go in the local C: drive. (If you have already installed the driver of Lenovo) files should still be there.

  Once restarted, return to the same location C:\DRIVERS\WIN\VIDEO (if the level of brightness buttons do not work F5, F6) keep reading.

  5. now, go to the INTEL folder and run the Setup program. If it is already installed, reinstall again (it should say something like the currently installed version is a newer version. Just ignore that and install it).

  Try these steps and check if that helps:

  ** Turn it back on. Sometimes a reboot will solve this problem.* *.

  1. close all programs and stop the laptop.

  2. remove all power supplies (battery and power cord)

  3. empty the remaining power by pressing the power on button for 30 seconds (even if you have no power).

  4. put the battery back and start the computer

  5. once fully loaded, right-click on the system tray and select Properties.

  6. This will bring to the top of the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" dialog box. The "Notification area" tab.

  7. at the bottom of the tab, is the area 'icons systems. " There is a checkbox for "Power". "check" the box and click on apply or OK.

  Also update your graphics card drivers.
