• Xcode Server installation failed (ssl configuration infrastructure)

  After the upgrade to Server 5.2 today, I am unable to start the service of Xcode as a result of a mistake.

  The first time, I tried to implement the service, after having chosen the Xcode application, I was asked to create a service user account Xcode. So, I followed the guests to create a Xcode Server user account.

  Then I saw a message that Xcode Helper should be allowed to make UI script, to which I agreed.

  Finally, a progress bar appears where, apparently, that was under the service of Xcode configuration.

  And then an error stating:

  Xcode Server installation failed (ssl configuration infrastructure)

  Try clicking on choose Xcode and selecting a new version of Xcode or upgrade to a newer version of the server.

  Given that I had just installed the latest version of Xcode previously, I advanced and checked that Xcode launches without problem, and no message appears.

  Then I went to System Preferences > Security & privacy > accessibility and verified that an entry is added for Xcode Helper, and I checked the box next to it to allow access.

  Also, I have advanced and connected to the server of Xcode user account and used the fast user switching option to return to my main account.

  Unfortunately, trying to start again service results in the same error. I even tried to start the service when you are logged on the server of Xcode user account. Whenever it has failed with the same message.

  Whenever I try to start the service, I see this (or very similar) message sequence struck the system log:

  A strobe is often considered to be a signal that sets a period of sampling for another signal.  All locks the impetus for strobe U16 function makes the pulse signal for a given number of pulse widths.

  Hi Noel,

  I detect 4 myself.  This is because your WIFI is set to detect the transmissions and this router is powerful enough to join and be detected.  In theory, if it is not secure you can hack illegally their connection - but it is a way of a street.  Just because you see does not mean them they can see yours, nor that this means that they have access to your system.

  Now, if your router is not secure (and you certainly must do if it is not already the case since if you capture the transmissions there is a chance they can capture your and possibly access to your network - as someone just driving by in a car or on foot near your home with a WIFI enabled computer) so it's a different story but then there are different and would not appear as an option connection, but rather as someone literally connected.

  As you were not very specific, I assume you mean the first paragraph.  If you really mean the second, then please set your router immediately.  If it is already fixed, then change all passwords and see if that solves the problem.  If this isn't the case, then back and we say more and we will refer you to people who can help.  Please indicate your version of Windows, your network setup, and exactly what you mean (specifically, where exactly are detect you).

  I am running XP Home Edition and have used the Norton Internet Security software for years.  Support includes an update of the software each year when they are available.  I received a message that the latest version of the software was ready to install.  Well, I installed the latest version and unfortuantely, I continuely receive the following error message...

  Symantec's Service infrastructure has encountered a problem and needs to close.  Contact Microsoft to resolve.

• Router WRT54GS, how to set up the infrastructure mode.

  I'm new in this forum.  I have been using this router for many years.  I have two desktop computers and a laptop computer, the first two connected by cable, wireless laptop.  I got a lcd tv got a (wireless) lan connector and want to access the internet with my TV as well.  The manual of the TV says that he accepts the router mode infrrastructure and no ad-hoc.  According to me, the first time that I have configured the router was punctual and now I want to change to the infrastructure.   I've looked everywhere and many people say to go to set up the wizard provided in the cd of the router but I did and I don't see the option to select the option at all.  Could someone help me to find a way to fix it?  I'd really appreciate it.

• 5.8.1 infrastructure cartridge - create rule for 'availablePagingSpace '?

  I have a number of AIX systems monitored by using the cartridge of the Infrastructure.  I copied and modified the rules for the CPU, the ability to file systems and memory.

  I need to create a rule to alert on 'availablePagingSpace' that appears on the chart "Memory usage" when I click on the "Paging Space" graph via the Host Monitor dashboard.

  I'm assuming that I could copy the rule "Utilziation memory" and likely the condition to test insteead 'availablePagingSpace' of the 'use '.   This seems to be a false assumption.  When you use the rule condition query interface, these are the errors I get.

  I tried to change the rule definition to use different topologies, such as "ICAGENT", but I can't seem to find this property available anywhere.

  I'm still a bit of a newbie to the rule editing Foglight, so bear with me.  If someone has a pointer in the right direction for me on how to access the "availablePagingSpace" metric, so I can use in my terms of rule, I would be very grateful.

  Please try this on a local Foglight Server first.

  When you look at the gauge for swap space available in the dashboard you can see that it is actually taken from the host itself

  

  If the scope of the rule should be the host itself, not memory.

  The easiest way is to seek a similar rule with the host as the scope.

  If you copy the rule run the length of queue for example, you can see that the scope of the rule is host.
  You can then change the rule condition to and when you use the condition Editor, you can see the metric of availablepagingspace as part of the host

  Yes, it is possible. The ability to file rule should probably include the disc name in the alert message as it does in the dashboard of the alarms and the alarm detail view.

  But since it isn't in the current version, you can easily make changes to include this information.

  Since he is an out-of-the-box rule, the best practice is to copy this rule, use a naming convention in the copied rule and modifed and disable the out-of-the-box rule.

  You can make these changes from the dashboard of the rule management.

  Once you have copied the file system of the cartridge of the Infrastructure capacity rule and disabled the original, modify the copied rule and add the Variable rule "diskName" as shown in this screenshot.

  

  Then go to the caution of the rule condition and change the 'Matière2' variable in the Variables of severity level to include '@diskName ':

• Remove a remote host from monitoring Infrastructure

  How can I go about removing a host of infrastructure monitoring?  If the host has its own fglam, I was able to disable the agent simple, remove fglam, etc..  In this case, I see no option to turn off monitoring, or withdraw completely from the remote host monitoring.

  In the screenshot below. Let's say that I simply wanted to see information of the rd-r220-01.  But I always wanted my central collector collect statistics on all remote hosts.

  You have a few options.

  1. you can simply connect the cables between the M6220 switch stack and the 5548.  Set up a trunk connection which allows for VLAN needed overall.  Tree covering weight until it is enabled on the switch and not off on specific ports connecting the default switches prevent loops and allow the most profitable link to be active, leaving the second connection as an alternative link in a blocking state.

  2. you can configure LAG (aggregation of links).  This is where you configure the individual physical ports in a virtual port channel.  This indicates a covering tree to treat multiple physical ports as a single link aggregated to the other switch.  You will need to have the port at each end of the connection channel mapping. (On each switch).  This allows the same speed but more flow.  To move traffic more.

  We have recently implemented Foglight and VMware plugin. As part of the VMware plugin, Foglight pulls in all the Linux VM machines including the ESX host. Our team of Linux only manages the running redhat Linux hosts. They fail the ESX VM guest. That said, is there a way to create a view that shows only the hosts running redhat Linux?

  For example the view of rail infrastructure below contains 88 Linux machines, but nearly half of them are ESX hosts for our Linux team would not see all these. Is it possible to filter these?

  The easiest way would be to create a personalized, pair it with Infrastructure and then create a dynamic management component.  This will help create you a rule for "All hosts" where you can find just the hosts that are not of the ESX host and run Linux.

  The query would be:

• RalinkAPS wifi chipset appears in the network infrastructure

  I just noticed a device appear in my 'Network Infrastructure' called RalinkAPS. I didn't have it there a week, I've been doin a little bit of research and it could be the chipshet of wifi on my router?

  The router is a Thomson/Technicolor TG585 v7; or would it be an ad-hoc link somehow to the router?
