Ink cartridges - new

In a Kit (#564 with Photo paper HP) ink cartridges contain the same amount of ink than cartridges purchased individually?

Yes - they are simply grouped, traditionally at a discount vs. buying individual cartridge.

I hope this helps!

  • Print a page of test before regionalization resets. Old ink or ink cartridges new cartridges?

My wife bought a HP Deskjet F2492 in Italy while attending school there.  She needs to get a regionalization reset for US, ink cartridges, now that she is back in the United States.  She has US cartridges and gets a message "incompatible cartridge" with lights flashing when they are installed.  With the US cartridges in the printer, the button cancel and pressing the launch button color print at the same time does not print a test page (it works with the European, but not the US cartridges cartridges).

I understand that the procedure is to run a test page and obtain the codes corresponding to the 11, 21, 52, 62. and 25.  Then contact HP that will calculate the numbers that must be entered in 5 fields on a dialog box that opens when you double-click on the blue HP logo in the window of the print preferences (Windows 7).

It's true that we run the test with the new page WE cartridges in the printer to get valid codes (we were led to believe that this was the case)?  If so, how actually print us a test page with the US cartridges since the method described above does not work?

    Thank you for your help.

The test page can be printed with the cartridges 'old '.  You will need to Contact HP to ask a "regionalization Reset."  I suggest that you do this before you worry about the details of what to print, the agent will take you through the process. Do not charge for this, it is covered under the warranty of the cartridge. You will need to have access to your computer and printer then on line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once completed reset cartridges of region of origin no longer works.  Webpage of HP on the subject is here.

  • Photosmart 5514: Photosmart 5514 - new black ink cartridge will not print

I just replaced all 4 ink cartridges (new cartridges of HP).  Each color prints fine except the black.  Not a spot of ink is crossing.  I removed, checked and reinsert the cartridge several times.  I check the contacts, clean them by following the instructions in the troubleshooting guide.  I've run the cleanup tool and quality report several times each.  Still nothing.  The printer is only a couple of years, out of warranty, but I don't have any problems with it so far.  Is there anything else I can try before I have to throw this printer?

For anyone who is having the same problem: I continued to try to understand this problem because I didn't have to buy a new printer.  I finally found a solution after trying everything that previously mentioned.  HP never really gave me any solution.

On the touch screen of the printer, go to Setup, then Preferences.  Do scroll to the chip in cartridge information and change it to Off.  Now my black ink prints!

I don't know if it will work on other printer models, but it worked on mine.

  • HP photosmart C4400 - incompatible ink cartridge

If I replace the ink cartridge (new or recharged) I see the message 'incompatible ink cartridges' so I can't print anything.

    Hello

You have given a serial number of the printer, not the printer model number.

Go to the HP website in the link and follow it through for your exact printer model > then your operating system > then look at the troubleshooting steps in the left side.

  • 7520 new stuck in the installation phase. Print head move load ink cartridges

I'm stuck in the new phase of printer configuration. After running through the commissioning of questions and I opened the cover to charge the ink cartridges and the print head did not move. I ran across several reset process... Unplug the printer. Wait 60 seconds and plug it in again. Browse the configuration... Unplug the printer... more.

This printer does not seem to be any cartriages.

    Hey JohnTT,

Sometimes, these printers come with packaging that holds the printhead completely to the right at the gas station.  This avoids damage to the product during shipping.  You see all plastic parts orange that it may contain in place or Blue Ribbon?

So, have you tried the carriage to the right hand?  Can it be moved or is it blocked?

If the printer still will not release the print carriage after the power cycles and move it by hand, then I suggest you return the product and return to the retailer of purchase or by calling the HP Technical Support to see about a replacement.  The phone number for the USA / Canada residents is 1-800-474-6836.  If you are not in this region, click here.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Photosmart Plus B209A does not print black ink despite trying two separate NEW ink cartridges black

    HP Photosmart B209A more

    MAC

No error messages but trying to align or check colors - black doesn't print at all

No change - knew ink was low so I tried to install a new black ink cartridge - then one day later tried an another new black ink cartridge

I tried all the techniques of "Troubleshooting" listed on the page Web - align, clean the print heads, install the new cartridges, looking for trouble with the vents, etc.  I have only used HP ink cartridges.

    Hi abruce,.

Usually, it is a result of dried/clogged ink nozzles in the printer or the print head.

According to some other users on the forums, you can remove the print head (use this guide if you are unsure how: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01944580)

Make sure the cartridges are removed from the print head

Dive head in hot water, nozzles downwards. (about 1 in. of water) and leave any residue of ink to flow. This process should take about 15 minutes. Ensure that the print head is completely dried out and there is no moisture in the electrical contacts or the rest of the part.

  • HP DESKJET3070A: New printers that HP364 ink cartridges

My HP Deskjet3070A about 7 years old, is to give the soul!  I have still several ink cartridges HP364 - what new printers are now compatible?

    Thank you

HP 364 cartridges are used in the following printers, although I don't think it's any current models.  You can find some of what follows still available at the point of sale.

This product is compatible with these printers

  • OfficeJet Pro 6830: Installed new ink cartridges on 6830, but they were not full

I've been using this printer for about two years now, been through "Print head problem" for both, they exchanged once and replace only the part once.

My ink colour C, M and there were emptied at the same time, so I ordered all three in an online store. I installed a few minutes ago and check the ink level via the touch screen of the printer. It turns out that they are not quite complete. They are almost full, C and are close to full, but M is less complete.

I wonder why this happens? I never checked the ink level in the past, but it surprises me. The printer makes some kind of calibration and printhead cleaning to get ready installed ink? (So consumed little ink)

I scanned the QR code on the side of boxes of ink and checked the hologram stickers and pretty sure that they are genuine. The printer also said that they are authentic.

Here is the picture of my ink level. Shot after installation of the cartridge and nothing printed.

Another strange thing is the date of installation. Now it is April 4 in my country but the web printer configuration page shows cartridge installation date is April 1! I checked the date and the printer and everything is OK.

If the cartridges have been used before, the printer screen would show a message that cartridges have been used on another front printer. I saw only me because I kept the old ink before trading in the past as I said up there.

    Please see a screenshot below

Everyone knows what happened? Or it's normal? (The packaging and seal in plastic cartridges seemed fine, nothing suspected weird)

    Thank you.

    Welcome to the HP Forums

    @BlackMiracle,

I came across your post about the concerns that you have with the help of your new ink cartridges and I wanted to share my own suggestions. The date being out for a few days is a bit strange, but the rest seems normal. Yes, when you install the cartridges, they are calibrated and alignment and clean, that uses a bit of ink. The levels that you see are also "estimated" levels If there are print quality problems or error messages, let me know and I'll do my best to help.

    I hope this helps!

  • New ink cartridges with no sensor

We bought replacement cartridges HP for HP 6500 has more printer (920XL cartridges) and they do not work with the printer. It seems that they do not have the same sensors as the old cartridges (see the top of the cartridge vs. the bottom page).  We bought a set of WB Mason and tried a second series of Staples, but we had the same problem with both sets.

    Someone had this problem recently?

Differencess you notice are due to a HP change made in the body of the cartridge as shown in the document here.  The two cartrdiges the old and the new should be accepted into the printer.  What is the error message you see on the printer?

If the printer is giving a message "the following ink cartridge is missing or corrupt...". ' the document here can help.

  • New ink cartridge ejects no ink

I have a Photosmart HP 5510 printer. I just bought a new black ink cartridge.  It is installed and complete recording. However, I can't print in black ink.  Please someone help!

The device may not have aligned with success when the cartridge is installed.  If the alignment process does not successfully, then the cartridge color (black in this case) may be missing in the printed documents.

Check out the steps described in the document, found here, for the Photosmart 5510 covering when black ink is missing on printouts.  These steps, you should get in the right direction on this issue.
