Install software/drivers stalls at 99% _ 1536dnf and windows 8

Install the latest version of the hp "hp_m1530_mfp_full_Solutution_usb_n_w" software  It passes through the installation process and hangs at 99%, then I get "a Setup operation has long to run."  It is a fatal error, preventing the use of the product, restart and try again"I have several times of the download and the CD.

Windows Pro 8, HP 9650 image 64 bit., all-in-one HP 1536dnf printer.

Any help appreciated, have tried just about everything.

jimmiejo, I would recommend uninstall/remove/uninstall the printer from programs and features, the Manager of peripherals and devices and printers. Make sure that you go through the folder folder (you can search for it via the start menu) and delete all possible files. Keep the USB power cord disconnected throughout the process and restart your computer.

Then download and run the Setup file, just plug in the USB cord when the program directs you to.

I would like to know how it goes!

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check

Hello farr2reel, here is the link for the latest driver for your printer. One of the requirements is Windows XP SP2.

If you are not successful with these drivers, you could try to uninstall the software and current drivers and try to reinstall these drivers. I would also like to ensure that Windows XP is up to date.

  • Hooray! Sansa e260v2 not load not exit mode MSC, refuses to install the drivers...

I have an e260v2 that I bought and used there are about 1 1/2 months. It has worked well for so long. But a couple of days, I reformatted the hard drive of my PC and things started to the South.

BEFORE all the WORLD the SAID: Yes, the firmware is up to 3.01.16A

The Sansa didn't immediately install its drivers when I plugged it after reinstalling Windows. The small icon in Sansa ever presented on the taskbar. When I connect it to the USB port of ANY (hub or other) it does not load, and nothing shows up on my computer. No player or anything. It says connected on the Sansa itself, however. I went into the settings and forced it to MSC. She perceives and stuff appears on my computer.

Of course, if it had worked, I wouldn't be here.

Still no driver installed, but at least it manifests. DOMINGUEZ...

This is what appears in my computer:

Drive F appears only when the Sansa is connected. The disk is inaccessible. It is not recognized by Windows; He tells me to put a disc into drive F.

And that is in the folder of the SANSA E260

No synchronization; No files in a folder; no interface with the computer, basically. Sansa itself works fine, however. Does anyone have an idea what to do?

  • Facing issues installing the drivers for the laptop

I'm trying to install the drivers updated on my dads laptop and I can't access the internet from him so I tried to download the driver on my laptop, it has burned to a disc, and I can't get the data on the disk to show when I put it in the laptop that I am trying to update.

Microsoft recommends that you get only your drivers form the company that manufactured the equipment.  The version of Windows Update are drivers for only a minimum feature and will not have the best performance, speed, reliability and battery life.

I would not use function "Find updated driver" of the Device Manager to update the driver, because it's also MSHQ laboratories. The manufacturer who build computers and devices must send their drivers to Microsoft to have qualified (tested) and certified before being added to this database.  Some companies are reluctant to do this (look at how long it takes Verizon to send new updates of phone users) and some are not all even bother or don't do that rarely (rather than when a new version is available) for the Windows driver database may be obsolete or have just never the right one.

Better to go to the website of the company that made the webcam and download it directly.

  • Cannot install the drivers and software for HP Deskjet 5650

I removed most of the HP entries to my printer from the Start Up. Since then I have not been able to get the Printer Wizard to start. Recently, I uninstalled everything related to the printer from Add Remove programs. Since that time I tried to install my HP drive. It comes up with the error that the software does not support my operating system. My operating system is Windows XP Home Edition SP3. The software is looking for Windows XP. I downloaded the drivers and software from HP. When it runs, it starts very well. For some reason, it isn't detecting my printer. After you select how the printer is connected to the computer and the connection at the same time the software tries to finish, but he comes up with an error and says it cannot complete the installation. I am able to install the drivers, but when I try to install the drivers and software is when the error appears. How can I fix? It would be nice to use the wizard for printer hp again.

I found the solution to my problem. Before I could install the software and drivers for my printer that I had to remove completely all the software and the printer driver. Here's what I used to delete the printer driver. Restarting my PC after removing the printer driver has been the most important step. Everything works fine now.

  • "Extraction failure: cannot open output file" error message when installing new drivers

Hello, I am trying to install new drivers for my HP Photosmart C4385 printer.  I downloaded the complete drivers of features for Windows XP 32-bit, and when I start to install (extract), I get the error message:

    Extraction failed

    Cannot open output file

And the process ends.  He arrived at about 85% extraction every time.

No idea why?  I called HP, but no longer under warranty they wanted money, which I think as absolutely ridiculous - not even give me basic support?  Poor, poor customer service.

    Hi GIJeff12,

    Temporarily disable any AntiVirus/Antispyware software.

Cut the installer on your desktop then click on the Start Menu, click computer, double-click on the C: drive and paste the installler here.  Now try a right click on the installer for your printer, choose 7-Zip and choose Extract the files, and then click Ok.  If the installation program extracts now correctly, follow these steps.  If it does not extract, let me know.

Disconnect your printer from the PC.  Restart your PC.

Open the newly extracted folder and double-click the setup application to start the installation (the installation application will probably have the same icon as the original installation software that you downloaded).  Connect the printer to your computer when you are asked.

If it was a success, re - enable your security software.

    Best wishes
