installation fails; CC Connect records as installed

Tried to install Acrobat Pro but the installation failed with "fatal error". CC Connect records Acrobat installed and up to date. Site Web CC me shunts in CC Connect. How to find a file to download and install the application.

LTM

Response to my request: go to Applications > Adobe Installers and run uninstaller App problem. Restart CC app and download and install the application.

I see a pattern here, the fatal crash when the dialog box appears asking that application X to stop in order to proceed with the installation.

Generally, I like the CC approach but the lack of reliability of the current implementation to date do not convince me to entrust my files for cloud to Adobe.

  • OfficeJet 6600 Gets the message of Network Installation fails when you try to install

    Hello

I have the worst time setting up my new printer wireless Officejet 6600. I work with a wireless-N router that was purchased less than a year ago. I have other wireless products that work well with the internet, so I do not see there is a connectivity problem.

The test of the printer indicates that everything is OK:

    Wireless on - PASS
    Wireless - PASS work
    Signal quality - very good
    Connected - PASS

    etc, etc.

I ran through all the troubleshooting I can find and nothing works. I have disabled the firewall, unplugged my router and modem, disconnected the printer, tried to implement on its own IP address. The installation wizard finds her and tries to implement, but I only get the message that it was a "network installation without success.

    Has anyone experience this problem?

Any new ideas on troubleshooting are welcome.

    Thank you
    Liz

    Hello

Thank you for your comments. I didn't expect such a quick response, which was great.

I move the printer to get a signal 'excellent' and tried the other steps you listed.  Through some googling more, we discovered that we needed to do the following:

    Go to the control panel

    Select Printers and faxes

    Right click and select Properties

    Select the Ports section

Add the port to the IP address of the printer displays

Not sure if this is the ideal way, but of course, it worked and I am now a happy customer. Hope it helps someone. I'll still Bravo for having responded so quickly.

    Thanks again!

  • Windows Updates Installation fail when connected remotely

I looked at a lot of articles but all VPN users have failures when updates are pushed and must come in local offices to complete.  SCCM is used and it detects the pc and announces the update/s required, but when they download and install there is no progress and eventual failure.  Windowsupdatelog gives no particular reason. Internet settings are the same for in and out of the office.  What can I get? Thank you

O'Briain you indicated that you had no other Adobe Creative previously installed software.  If this is the case there should be no previous installation of Adobe Application Manager.  Please use the Control Panel programs and features to ensure that all Adobe Creative Software are removed.

You will then want to use the available CC cleaning tool to use CC Cleaner tool to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html to ensure that all entries have been deleted.

  • Adobe Flash lost the connection @ 30%. Mac installation fails.

I'm seeing this anywhere in the forums without anyone find a solution. I tried everything suggested in Safari or Firefox, including a clean install 3 times! Even after uninstalling and deleting the files flash in the library, when I try to download and install it immediately starts at 30% and then I get the error message "the connection interruption. Trying to connect... "it hangs a little bit and then I get"the connection has failed. Could not complete the installation. "I go to their link for assistance when the installation fails but the link which they suggest to download directly from the final step is"not FOUND ". See here: Installation problems | Flash Player | Mac

This same link appears in several forums for a solution. I don't know what else to do. I write this option to add many others with the same question in the hope that Adobe will solve this problem! I'm on a MAC OS 10.9.5. Never had this problem before with flash updates!

Solution found on another thread. Download the installer here offline: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_osx. dmg

I downloaded and was able to install Flash correctly. Make sure you do a clean just to be safe installation.

I downloaded Sierra.  Installation failed saying corrupted download.  App Store still says downloaded, but there is no button install and I can't download it again.

    What should I do?

    Hello volvoxc70,

I understand that you have downloaded macOS Sierra, but are not able to install it, because you are told that the download was corrupted. In a situation like this, the next step would be to remove existing installation application download and re - download.

Applications downloaded from the App Store: click on the Launchpad icon in the Dock, hold the application icon until all the icons begin to jiggle, then click on the button to remove the application. If you later want the app, you can reinstall it on the App Store.

OS X El Capitan: install, update and uninstall applications
    https://support.Apple.com/kb/PH21867

If you do not have Launchpad on your Dock, you can access your Applications folder in the Finder menu reach > Applications. Once in the application, find install it macOS Sierra app, click once to select it, open the file menu > move to the trash. You will need to enter your administrator password to perform this operation.

  • Install Snow Leopard Retail: Checking the Installation failed

    Hi all!

I currently own a MacBook (mid-to-late 2010) with the identifier MacBook7, 1 and I want to reinstall 10.6 after a few questions. I got my retail disk, and it says that it cannot be installed on my computer. I check the logs and it says the following (not all that, only the errors, sorry)

21-24 June at 20:18:03 localhost OSInstaller [140]: controls Installation failed.

22-24 June at 20:18:03 localhost OSInstaller [140]: verification of the Installation failure:

What puzzles me is that the reason is empty! Any help would be appreciated!

(BTW, I tried to do a format, disc check and repair and all the "solutions" and none of them worked.)

Sometimes the retail drives do not work if they are the same major version than the original installation disc provided with a computer. I just checked, but as the best I could with the information that you provide and it seems that your computer was shipped with 10.6.3 and this is the same version as the retail drives.  Yet, I wonder if there is a specific build characteristic which is absent in the commercial version.  Contact Apple support to get a replacement original disk.

    Joseph

    Hi JosephR,

In some other threads that I saw about problems with this particular update, the problem has been resolved with one of two things.

First of all, I suggest you reset your Windows Components update.  Please take a look at the article below with the Fixit to do it for you:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971058

If this does not help, the issue could also be caused by a rootkit on your system.  Please take a look at the similar thread below where the poster was able to resolve the problem through Taupo Tech by removing the rootkit:

Cannot install Windows Update KB2724197, error FFFFFFFE
