Installation of a preloaded sqllite database
Hi guys, I'm developing an application provided with preloaded text. I want to store the text in a sqllite database, because users can add, edit or delete. So, I would like to know if it is possible to store data in an sqllite database so that each new installation of my app from APPWORLD, also install the database with the data on the SD Card thanks you for your help
Absolutely, it is possible, I do it in a few apps. I create the database and pre-fill certain data, as well as allowing additions/deletions by user.

which means, Java is not installed/set up correctly or not accessible for the user is installing.
You need:
64-bit JRE (not x 86) installed on the Windows machine and successfully added to JAVA_HOME of the computer, so that each user (or at least, the user that ins Setup) to run java.
A reboot of the windows machine may be necessary after installing java
The wizard is supposed to handling everything, but something is wrong in your case.

Installation of the node2 RAC database
Hello
I installed grid infrastructure, Oracle RAC cluster db software.
Then in the node 1 installed listener and created / the set up db using dbca.
I have sucessfully created database and db info written in/etc/oratab.
Question: should I create an another data base using dbca in node 2? for example, if istalled node1 PROD1 db, should install PROD2 instance in node2?
What are the next steps after the installation of database in node1?

Hi, for the life of me I can not the HR schema installed.
With OEL6 and Oracle Database Linux 12.1 c
With the help of the wizard and advanced configuration, I chose to include sample patterns. Everything installed OK. However, none have been installed.
I then downloaded the examples file, unzipped, installed. All right.

Took forever (it's really the first time I use Oracle, no knowledge of database), but I finally got it to work, so I'll mention it right here for others to take advantage if all goes well. As I am new, some of these steps might not even be necessary, I'm not sure
Turns, even if I have included diagrams of the sample in the installation, the only installed pattern was the Scott schema. Unfortunately, that was not the HR schema.
You will need to download the examples of schema file and install it.

Who said you have to understand an Earphone for your PDB (not the PEH).
So just add another entry for your PDB if you do not already have one in /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbhome_1/network/admin/tnsnames.ora #note: directory names different. Mine was too
Important part is the (SERVICE_NAME = pdborcl) or what is called your PDB.
Stop and start the listener:

Then, it is important that YOU do activate HR user having limited SESSION, otherwise you won't be able to connect. This happened to me.

GRANT CREATE SYNONYM, CREATE DATABASE LINK, RESOURCE, UNLIMITED TABLESPACE to the hour;
GRANT RESTRICTED SESSION on time;
Now, you need to connect to your PDB. Connect as sysdba as usual, which by default connects you to your PIC.
$ sqlplus / as sysdba
You can see that you are connected to your PIC if you issue 'show con_name '.

I am trying to improve our 11.1.0.1 to 12.1.0.3 OEM production using the method 2-system. When I try to keep in the database connection Details page after you have specified the connection details for the copy of the deposit on the new host, this error pops up:
ERROR: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
Unable to connect to the database and validate is a database supported due to one of the following reasons:
(1) credentials incorrect
(2) the auditor may be out of service
(3) database is perhaps out of service.
Check the credentials, the status of the listener and the database, and then try again.
This error is not moved when we used the same procedure to upgrade a test installation 11.1.0.1. In addition, I tried to change the connection details to connect to the repository of original production and got the same error. This seems to indicate that the problem is specific to this repository.
I'm Tournai on sql trace for another chance and found this error in the trace file:
The following statement has encountered an error during the analysis:
"Select count (1) in the mgmt_targets where target_type = 'host' and target_name ='oem12c.gfcsap.com"
Encountered error: ORA-00942
This error is meaningless to me that mgmt_targets is present in the sysman schema.
Any suggestions on how to move beyond this would be appreciated.

Hi all
While explaining the issue to a colleague, it dawned on me that I had not thought sys could be running the query instead of sysman, in which case a synonym would be necessary. I checked the test repository, and it had a public synonym for sysman.mgmt_targets. The production repository was missing the synonym. After you create the synonym in the repository of the production, I passed this stage.

OEM 12 c: installation problem in step 6 (database connection details)

I try to install OEM 12 c. However, before you start installation and configuration, I installed oracle database 11.2.0.1.0 on the same virtual machine.
OS: Windows Server 64-bit
In step 6 of the installation of 12 c (OEM 12.1.0.3) OEM, I'm giving the credentials needed in "Section of database connection", but get the error message below.
ORa: 12514: TNS Listener does not currently of service requested in connect descriptor.
I tried the same credentials on the SQL instructions and it worked.
SQL > conn sys/manager@orcl as sysdba;
Connected.
Please let me know if I missed something.

can check you the status of home/bin/lsnrctl listener, lsnrctl stop/start the listener db.

Installation error-could not create database tables
During the installation of the MRS., I get the following error:
Failed to create database tables. Details: DB does not contain schema SRM: VdbError: there is no such thing as the name of the column in the dr_product_info table
The SRM documentation indicates the name of the schema must be the same as the DB username that I checked. Does anyone have a solution for this error?

the user does not have the privileges to view certain columns in the table.
If you change the owner of the DB to the user you are using to connect to the DB, then you should be able to complete the installation.

I do and if she had installed on my laptop Win 7/64 for over a year without any problems. Just replaced my desktop and install copy 2 on it by license.
This is for cs3, but it is your best choice if you have properly followed the steps described in message 1.

Oh, I see, I didn't know that that was part of the error message.
I just run the SQLiteDemo in the OS 7.1 9900 Simulator that comes installed with the 7.1 Eclipse plug. It works fine (once I had added the SD card of course). If you can't run it, then I suspoect you have something very corrupted in your installation. I re-download and reinstall Eclipse from here:

Hi, I wrote an app that works well on Flash builder, but will not save anything (for a sqlLite database) on the Simulator. I think it's something to do with permissions, but I'm not really sure of permission to use.
I tried to add
access_shared to my tablet.xml - blackberry, but it doesn't really seem to make a difference.At the moment, I can only read things from the DB, but could not save anything. It is not error, but does not record anything either.
Could someone help me with this?
