Installation of the USB-6211 for DA

I try to use a USB-6211 housing in a very simple system of Visual Studio C++. The final goal is to continuousely output for both channels to 180 samples per second. At this point, I have the following Setup:

DAQmxErrChk (DAQmxCreateTask("",&taskHandle));
DAQmxErrChk (DAQmxCreateAOVoltageChan (taskHandle,
devcmd, //physical channel
' ', //name assigned.
-10.0, the production of //min value
10.0, output value of //max
DAQmx_Val_Volts, release //units
"" scale //custom name
));
DAQmxErrChk (DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming (taskHandle,
"", //source (default OnboardClock)
180.0, //rate in the samples per second
DAQmx_Val_Rising, //active edge
DAQmx_Val_FiniteSamps, finite number of samples (to change) //a
samples_to_write //samples to acquire
));
DAQmxErrChk (DAQmxStartTask (taskHandle));

On the last drive, I get the message:

Non-bufferered of NI by the equipment operations are not supported for this device and the type of channel. I can't make any sense of it. Any suggestions?

One of your support staff helped on the phone. It appears as a somewhat obscure command

DAQmxSetWriteRegenMode (taskHandle, DAQmx_Val_DoNotAllowRegen)

It takes to get buffering to work properly. It is a command badly documented, and there is no real indication that this is necessary.

  • Installation of the minimum runtime for the program using the driver USB of NI-VISA personal

I have a LabVIEW 2009 application that uses a driver for a USB device, created using the wizard of the Driver NI-VISA.  What my minimum installation of runtime needed to understand when I move it on a non-development machine?

On my dev machine, I went to MAX and given my new camera USB one alias of VISA.  I think I'll meet trouble if my deployment includes no MAX on TIME machine.

Right now, I guess the minimum is LabVIEW 2009 DURATION, NOR-DAQmx Configuration (including MAX) execution, duration of NI-VISA.

If not, is there a method that avoids having to configure an alias altogether?  It would be nice to not not need NOR-DAQmx, I use not any material that my USB device with driver custom.

    Thank you!

Not sure why you consider same installation DAQmx. You can install just MAX, the VISA duration and your harware MAX configuration. The installerallows of LabVIEW allows you to export the configuration, and then you select the option to import on the deployment computer. You will also need to include the installation of the inf file you created with the wizard.

  • Bootcamp errors during the installation of the USB on iMac mid-2011

I tried to install Windows 8.1 on my iMac for mid-2011. The problem is that my optical drive is not working properly.

I created a USB bootable via Bootcamp Assistant on my MBPr and have tried my iMac HARD drive partitioning, using OSX disk utility and disk in recovery mode utility. I tried to leave the space as free and formatted as ExFat and fat.

At the start of the usb drive and try to install on the bootcamp partition, I get the error that it is a MBR and not on a GPT partition.

In addition, do not know if it's important, but it is a secondary internal drive. My main drive of OSX is an SSD. I have no problem accessing the drive in question under OSX.

    Help please!

Mac 2011 (and more) have challenges with no DVD installs due to optical drive problems. Changes to the file info.plist Bootcamp to allow creating install USB works only partially because of start-up problems. Only two solutions that work with a high degree of success are

    1. replace the optical drive, or,

  • Installation of the device drivers for the Zune 8 GB using Windows Vista SP2 OS

I try to install the Zune software installed on a laptop Acer of MS Vista with SP2.  The Zune player is a 8 GB model.  The Zune software is installed fine, but when Vista tries to install device drivers, it fails, asking me to contact the hardware vendor.  It is used to work on another computer running MS Windows XP with SP3.

What can I do to make it work on Vista computer?

    Hi Midnightwreck,

What is you receive the exact error message?

Step 1: Examine the Windows Device Manager. To do this, follow these steps:

    (a) click Start, right-click computer, and then click Properties.

    (b) click on Device Manager. Click on the computer root icon and then click on Search the hardware changes in the Actions menu. Zune should be listed under portable devices.

Note If the player has been incorrectly installed, Zune can be listed with a yellow exclamation point (!). Or, it may be listed under other devices as USB (Universal Serial Bus) device.

    (c) double-click Zune, and then click driver . The current version of the driver that is installed must be 4.2.58.0.

If the Windows Device Manager indicates a problem with the device, or if the Player version that is installed is not the current version, you must update the driver. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. right click on Zune or a USB device , and then click Properties

    2. click on the tab driver , and then click Uninstall.

    3. If it is displayed, select delete the driver for this device, and then click OK.

    4. click on the computer root icon and then click on Search the hardware changes in the Actions menu.

5 right click on Zune , and then click Properties

    6. Click tab driver , and then click set to update driver.

    7. click Browse my computer for driver software.

    8. click on Browse, find the program Files\Zune\Drivers folder, and then click OK.

    9. click Next.

If you are prompted, click install.

After the driver installation is complete, click close two times.

  • Installation of the USB 2.0 extension cable failure, and I am on Windows 7.

    I recently bought a foot 6 ' Male/female' USB extension cable, and it's USB 2.0.
I bought it because my headphones would not properly work because of a problem in my computer and I thought that an extension can help to stop this problem.
So, I try to install, but it never does.
Does anyone know why there are installation problems?
Also, Yes, the helmet works if I plug it directly on the computer, but with some errors.

    Hi guy,

I understand that the USB 2.0 extension cable does not work on your computer.

    1. What is Gets the error message when you connect the headphones to the computer?
2 have you tried plugging the USB cable into another computer?
    3. have you tried it with different USB ports?
    4. What is the brand and model of the computer and a USB headset?
    5. did you of recent changes to the computer?

Extension cable does not need a driver, this is just a thread. USB cables come in varying degrees of quality. The length of the cable can also be important, because the voltage of the equipment can be reduced by the resistance of the cable. Some devices specify 6 feet or less while others may work correctly with 12 people or more.

I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

I suggest to run the hardware and devices Troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

I suggest to open a session on the helmet manufacturer's Web site and install the latest drivers for the headset, if the problem persists.

You can also check the USB device drivers updated using windows update. See below the help link

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

If the edge of the question persists I'll ask allows you to check the chipset driver updates you find on the manufacturer's website. The chipset drivers normally integrate USB controller drivers as well.

    It will be useful.

  • Installation of the USB - no scanner detected by the software

I bought Microtec USB scanner ScanMaker6100 but cannot begin to work with it:)

Recognize the scanner as a Plug & Play device my PC and install it but the software can't find it.

I tried to scan on another PC to check and it works so I have problem with my TOSHIBA A60?

I had send my PC profile to support of Microtec and they suggest the following:
"your installation of USB needs chipset driver. Currently, he works in "universal". Unmanned correct install cannot USB chipsets support entirely. Normally you have the computer driver MB CD when you buy the computer. »

My USB controllers in Device Manager are installed like:
Standard enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
    Standard openHCD USB host controller
In devices, I see they are ATI SB200 - USB Controller and ATI SB200 - USB 2.0 Controller.

I really should reinstall / update my USB driver? How? Where can I get these drivers?

    [Edited by: admin July 16 05 12:34]

    Hello

I don't think you need to install or update the USB drivers. If the scanner is properly installed and recognized there must be another problem. In my opinion, you should try to use the scanner with another program. As far as I know, you can also use Microsoft word and try to import image from a scanner. If Office is installed on your device, try to import something in the word document.

    Good bye

Original title: what's happening with my mouse?

My wireless Microsoft 5000 mouse: the usb piece has overheated to the point, you can actually burn your fingers on it and now it won't work.  It's the second mouse what has happened.  I had the same exact type of mouse before and it did the same thing, I thought it was a fluke and I love that mouse, so I bought another.  Of course, now it overheats too.  It is not my computer because I use other usb mice, and they do not overheat.  Is this simply faulty mouse, because I read of others having the same problem.  I spent $80 for 2 of them last year, can it be replaced?
