integration of TMS and Exchange

Hi all

I had planned to integrate Exchange with tms instead of ctsman.

Could you help me on an integration guide, as well as with your advice.

Thank you.

We have a white paper that helps guide you in the management of expectations and planning of such failover.  See https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-40301

For more details on how to proceed with the installation, make sure you please to refer to documents TMSXE and TMS installation.  Material above is a supplement to the people and does not duplicate the information contained in the classic installation documents.

A remote desktop client from one office to another from 10 feet.  Now Win7 has become confused about the video card.  When you use the add on the map with two monitors on DVI cables, Windows thinks that he uses the onboard video (vga on motherboard).  When you use the onboard vga video, Win7 think he's using the add on video card.
Windows has exchanged information on video cards.  Is there a way to hack the registry and exchange their return?  Or clear the entries and have windows discover video cards again?
So far, I pulled the add on the map but Win7 still thought he used it.  I checked the BIOS settings and display settings.  Desktop is a Dell OptiPlex 980.  Using Win7 enterprise.
Customer does not do without office while it would be re-created, I was looking for a solution.

They would extend the desktop between the two monitors, but now it reflects only the monitors because he thinks that it's using the vga output (when he really uses the add on the map).  Discovered this when you look at the description of the graphics cards and monitors trying each installer.

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

I would like to inform you that, the question you have posted in the community is more on the management of the computer hardware rather than the Windows operating system. So, I recommend you contact the manufacturer of the computer hardware, which gives you a better opportunity to get rid of the problem.

  • schedule meetings with the TMS and CTManager on the same endpoint

    Hello everyone

I explain my problem, we have a CUCM with CTManager to plan meetings of the CTS, we have 2 VCS with a TMS to plan meetings of TC endpoints also.
Our TC end points are saved in venture capital using H323, recorded in CUCM using SIP and exchange of email to can program using the CTManager. And TC endpoints are supplied by our TMS.

As endpoints of TC may appeal to the endpoints CTS sometimes we have meetings planned between TC and CTS endpoints in the CTManager, but if schedule us a meeting by using the TMS, meetings of CTManager disappear and endpoint show TMS meetings, if we do a resynchronization of the electronic mail room in the CTManager We can see again in the meetings of CTManager in the touchscreen.

We tried not to allow bookings for this endpoint of TC in the TMS, but later there is no way to schedule a meeting for this endpoint, even using the external call.

You know any workaround solution to activate the two calendar options running on the same endpoint without removing the CTManager meetings? We don't need the BBFRR for the TMS meetings, only for meetings of the MLC.

    Best regards

    Hello

Disabling power of the TMS write calendars 'Meetings' on managed systems is not supported. If an endpoint is added to the TMS, TMS assumed that endpoint is not used in another system of planning (such as CTS - man) and could replace any parameter that depends on the other system of planning.

  • TMS and WebEx One-Touch

The telepresence Management Suite does support WebEx One Touch?

    If so

What would be the best to use for integrating Cisco Telepresence and WebEx, if you BE6K with CUCM and VCS controlling the C-Series, Cisco TMS or Cisco TM ends?

I look forward to your helpful responses.

  • SBS Server 2003 and Exchange Server - need access, but don't have HARD drive

    Hello

A couple of years our sever dies completely, but we kept the drive HARD, but unfortunately not the CD with the software or the software key. So, I now have 2HDD, the original boot partition and the other with the data. now as well clean and fully functional and connected to an old desk. I can see everything beautiful, but I can't boot from the original boot drive (I tried simply disconnecting desktop boot disk and windows for 1 second logo shows a d, then chucks back me to the initial charge (BACK?).) The point is that I need to boot into SBS2003 with exchange server installed in order to access a handful of old emails that have become extremely important, as well as to run an old version of Filemaker server, which can run on any newer operating system

I tried, by the way, a converter for swap files and I can see the directories but I think that, unless I paid $xxx.00 for something, which I can't afford now, so I will not get the emails and all attachments back.

So my question is this - is anyway that I can use the original startup disk in a new hardware environment to restore sbs 200 and Exchange if you work? I paid huge sums for both, so I think I should be able to use it again!

    Thank you very much

    Then

Convert 32 bit hexadecimal string with the low byte first: 0000 42 8

    Anyone have any ideas?

Slightly lighter, try to cast U32 and exchange words. Same difference.

(apparently, exchanging words is a NOOP for SGL, but still accepts SGL without constraint. Interesting...)

  • TMS and SQL 2008 R2

    Hi all

We plan to spend our SQL 2005 a 2008R2 server. In the Installation of TMS and Quick Start Guide (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/tms/install_guide/Cisco_TMS_Install_Getting_Started_Guide_13-1.pdf , page 6), they say that all versions of SQL 2008 are supported, but we must be sure that this includes the SQL 2008R2. Are there restrictions or considerations?

    Thank you!

I seem to TMS doesn't run well with SQL 2008 R2 no problem

  • Question TMS and conductor - conferences to improve safety by using conference

    Hi people,

Currently, I implement some projects involving Cisco Telepresence conductor and I was wondering the benefits that conductor brings to the video network, it's really a great solution!

Discover the benefits of the conductor, I created the following deployment:

It works very well! The customer is very satisfied with the level of security when using this deployment. Their multi-point conferences is safer now.

Well, when I created this topology I considered not how the environment would work when planning conferences, with TMS and conductor because this client has yet to TMS. Then, I was just shocked when I opened the TMS deployment guide e conductor and find the following statement:

Note: The exposed conductor TelePresence conference type is not supported in Cisco TMS. Only models conference using the conference meeting type are supported.

    Page 13 - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/tms/config_guide/TelePresence_Conductor_with_Cisco_TMS_Deployment_Guide_XC1-2_TMS14-1.pdf

I almost jumped the bridge... Now, I know that my great topology no longer works with TMS.

    Well, here are my questions:

Why do we have this limit?

That Cisco plans to fix this?

The guide is related to the conductor XC1-2 and 14-1 TMS, something has changed in TMS 14.2.2 and XC2.1?

I'd appreciate any help really, really!

    Thanks in advance.

Agreed! The driver of the telepresence really is a great product.

Why do we have this limitation?

Because the feature was never implemented on the side TMS. It was decided that the other characteristics are more important and should be a priority. There is nothing on the type of conference 'Read' which is inherently incompatible with the TMS, but work needs to be done first.

    Examples:

    • The control of conference centre: you will probably see the entries in double Conference if you are using a 'read' conference
    • TMS does not differentiate between the presidents and guests during the creation of scheduled conferences 'Conference' on the conductor.

None of them are very difficult to solve from a development point of view, but they are not trivial to apply or test either.

Does Cisco have plans to fix that?

Nothing specific is planned, don't. As always: if it is a problem to your customer, make a request to feature through your account manager or another Cisco point of contact.

The guide is related to Conductor XC1-2 and TMS 14-1, has any thing been changed  in TMS 14.2.2 and XC2.1?

Conductor XC 2.1 and TMS 14.2.2 is a combination not supported, but nothing has been changed to

2.2 XC and 14.3 TMS: types of conference 'Read' are not yet supported.

What I see if I work with Microsoft and exchange of data on the creative clouds with people working on Apple?

That all depends on what you want to share

The data files that are "industry standard" such as the JPG images are the same on both platforms

Files that are specific to the platform, such as video files on a Mac or Windows, AVI video files MOV will either require conversion or additional software (to open a MOV file with a Windows program, you must have installed Apple Quicktime for Windows)

In addition to this, the files that are specific to Adobe... such as the InDesign files... are not always compatible because of new features in newer versions, like a Premiere Pro video project file created in the 2015 version cannot open in 2014 version

If you have problems with files and specific programs, you should ask for help in the forums for these programs

  • AD and Exchange provisioning is successful but fails to create user IOM

    Hello
I try to configure exchange 2010 by using Exchange Connector that I customized. When I create user in IOM, AD provisoning begins, then AD user is created, then Exchange provisioning starts & Exchange gets put in service. At the moment where it all happens, IOM page displays error on the page and the user is created.
Now when you search user with that ID, then no user found in IDM. When user is created in AD and Exchange.
Please help me to solve the issue.

    Thank you

These problems are solved by the elimination of the technique of possibilities. If you think that Remote Manager is the cause of questions, just don't call it. Fix rather just tcCompleteTask.

If the user begins to have created then, fine. The reason why we Remote Manager.

If not then remove all custom as pre or post handler, if any, pre fill adapters, if any, custom, if any process tasks. Hope you got the theme behind this technique.

Try to create the user after the removal of each component.

The moment you are able to create users, you have identified the problem.

    All the best.

  • Installation MS AD and Exchange Connector on a single connector server.

    Hello

I have to install MS AD and Exchange on a single connector server.

I configured and installed this con .NET Server as directed by the documentaion as it works well.

With regard to the installation of the 11.1.1. MS AD & Exchange Connector on this server, the oracle documentation says to both of them that:

Starting from the installation media, copy and extract the contents of the bundle/ActiveDirectory.Connector-1.1.0.6380.zip file in the CONNECTOR_SERVER_HOME directory.
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E22999_01/ doc.111 /e20347/deploy.htm#BGBHFEHF

Starting from the installation media, copy and extract the contents of the bundle/Exchange.Connector-2.0.0.1.zip file in the CONNECTOR_SERVER_HOME directory.
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E22999_01/ doc.111 /e27258/deploy.htm#BGBDFHDD

I have server connector installed on the machine as C:\Program Files\Identity Connectors\Connector Server\

So I think that above Server Connector DIR will be the CONNECTOR_SERVER_HOME

    My query is:

    (1) for the installation of a single connector (say AD), I have to just extract content of ActiveDirectory.Connector - 1.1.0.6380.zip and paste them on the C:\Program Files\Identity Connectors\Connector Server\?

    (2) what can I do, f I have to install the Exchange Connector as well? I noticed that bundle of Exchange and the AD have common files.

Kindly let me know the solution/steps, or something I can do bad

    Edited by: 902488 Sep 26, 2012 12:04 AM

    I think you're talking about files such as ActiveDirectory.Connector.dll, ActiveDirectory.Connector.pdb, Interop.ActiveDs.dll, Shell.ScriptExecutorFactory.dll and THIRDPARTYREADME.txt.
They are ABSOLUTELY identical files for the two AD and Exchange clusters. There is therefore no problem.
