  I tried to uninstall in the menu modem/phone, but now I can't install it again... or using drivers on the cd of installation or of the ones I downloaded from this site.

  What you can see in the Device Manager? Is there a yellow exclamation?

  Alternatively, you can try to install the modem on this path:
  Control Panel > modems Options and > Modems. If there is no Modem didn't try to install by clicking on the Add button. Follow the instructions in the Add Hardware Wizard.

  If you can again see Modem, check all the settings in the properties of the modem (for example the adjustment wheel) and dialing rules. Is your well configured Dial-up connection (country, area code)?

  Remove the Internet connection and make it again with the Network Setup Wizard. It is very important.

  Hello, I have a HP P6774y computer, running Windows 7-64 bits and 32 bits (2 sheets)

  I want to use the fax software, but there is no internal modem.

  I have a 56K of my last computer modem card. The specifications for my p6774y indicate a free PCI, but either it is a new type of PCI or... I do not know.

  Any advice on how to install this PCI Modem card would be appreciated.

  If it is a new type of PCI on my motherboard, what do you suggest to me, I need to do a lot of fax and need the ability to access remotely.

  As I wrote before: the FritzBox works as a router. Why do you not use the FritzBox as your main router?

  If you switch the FritzBox mode modem, you need to configure PPPoE settings of internet connection of the WRT. Then only the WRT connects directly to the internet. I suppose that if you don't do this the FritzBox will continue to work as a router.

• How to send a fax from my A210 the internal modem?

  I have a laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium and Office 2007 Professional A210 and use the wireless network card to connect with our modem broadband.

  For my company, I would like to be able to send faxes through the normal phone line direct to my laptop, instead of purchasing a fax machine.
  There is only a Toshiba Software Modem attached to COM3, but I can't work out how to use it to send a fax.
  On older computers, I was able to configure the modem fax as a printer driver and sent faxes directly from Word using a print-to-fax option.
  I find nothing in the General help Windows or using Word that shows me how to do this on my laptop.

  Any suggestions gratefully received.
