iPad 2 Mini will not connect WiFi

I was able to surf the web on my iPad Mini 2 retina always. When I woke up this morning, it didn't connect to the WiFi. He said that the entered password is incorrect. I know it's okay, because I checked several times and my MacBook works on the same network. I even connected my Android on this WiFi Phone and it worked.

Here's what I've tried so far:

  • Reset network settings
  • Restart the router
  • My iPad is restarted

Nothing did.

I already checked If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi-Fi - Apple support network and other topics that I could find on this forum. I don't want to reset my iPad to factory settings. What I'm supposed to do? Why is it all suddenly say it is incorrect? I used the same WiFi router for years on my iPad since I bought it.

Hello, try to change the Protocol described in this thread wifi incorrect password after update iOS 8

    Hello

    Hmmm strange
First of all make an update of the BIOS, that this should be done if a newer version is available and you have any questions.

You said you did a update check WLan if you used the latest version of the driver
Here you will find the latest WLan driver versions:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

You can also check WLan card settings in Device Manager-> properties-> advanced settings WLan card.
The same WLan channel must be used for the local network and router WLan card.
Check if the MAC address filtering is not enabled in the settings of the router.

  • iPad will not connect to internet

    Hello

Recently I replaced my router wireless with an old faithful that d-Link DSL - 502T cable modem as I have now 2 extreme airport to handle a Wi - Fi. I have now a much faster internet access on my Macbook Pro, but my iPad 2 now will not connect to internet.

Airport utility on the iPad shows that the internet is disconnected, but I don't know how to solve this problem.

The two airports are configured in Bridge mode. Help someone?

If you have LAN - 502T running as the main router.

Bridge the airport should simply pass the DHCP via the Dlink but sometimes it's a failure.

The two AE connected directly to the modem or the other?

I would recommend the static method of intellectual property.

    https://discussions.Apple.com/message/25135547?ac_cid=tw123456#

In this method, you must first AE plugged directly to the Dlink and the second AE connected in the first and bridge... it will dhcp to EI and is often a better configuration with Apple gear. Worth a try.

My iPod touch will not connect to WiFi and I followed the steps posted. Also, when he dies he thinks that it is December 31, 1969. What can I do to fix this?

Not knowing what the 'followed the steps posted' have been

The iOS device connects to other networks? If Yes, which tends to indicate a problem with your network.

The iOS device sees the network?

    Error messages?

    Other devices connect now?

The iOS device has connected before?

Try the following to rule out a software problem:

-Reset the device iOS. Nothing will be lost

Device iOS Reset: Hold down the On / Off button and the Home button at the same time for to

ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

-Power off, then back on your router

. - Reset network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings

    - iOS: troubleshooting connections and Wi - Fi networks

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi - Fi network

    - iOS: recommended for WiFi routers and access points

    -Restore from backup. See:

    iOS: how to save

    -Restore factory settings/new iOS device.

If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at an Apple store Genius Bar because it appears that you have a hardware problem.

I have an iPad 2 which, all of a sudden (in the Middle streaming), is more connected to the internet.  I rest the network settings, when this does not work, I have reset all settings, stopped and rebooted, all done basically.  It shows that its connected to my WiFi, but will not connect to internet.  All the other devices in my house work, then there must be a problem with the iPad.

Reset the router: just pull the power for a few seconds and reconnect. No parameter to get lost.  Other devices operating with success is not serious. The router has probably received an invalid address for the iPad.

  • L850 satellite will not connect to Wifi

    Hi, new here.

I have a Toshiba L850 which does not connect to wifi,
Many other devices in the House and the L850 was last week.

You can see my router but will not connect.
It is the 'limited access' connection, but not more.
Said troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem.

When I try and access the Device Manager, I get a "Explorer.EXE" the specified service does not exist as an installed service?

    Help.

    Paul.

    > He sees my router but will not connect.

I guess that your router is secured by encryption (WEP or WPA / WPA2)
Test WiFi connection without the use of WLan encryption settings.
Turn off in the router settings and test the connectivity.

Of course you need to do that just for test purposes because it s not advised to use the unsecured WiFi.

Where you have no problem to connect the laptop to 'open' WLan, I recommend changing the encryption type.

  • My Toshiba Satellite will NOT connect to the WiFi in my house of employers, but connects everywhere else I will!

My Toshiba Satellite WILL NOT connect to WiFi in my house of employers, but connects everywhere else I go; I have Windows XP Home Edition SP3, and there a router Linksys WRT16ON. My network card is an Atheros AR5001X + Wireless Network Adapter (and says "this device is working properly". I tried disabling, entering all information, penetrates is not in the news was unchecking the "Enable IEEE 802. 1 x authentication"(and whenever I go in there, he checked again) changed on 'Open' and 'AES' TKIP, WPA (which is) and the password is correct, restart the router, moved the laptop around (the router was in my room, now it is in the thnxt room and it Me REPEAT JUST : 'Validation of identity' and 'impossible to find a certificate to connect to the network'.) I can connect with ethernet, but not with this new situation of the House, do I have the wireless. WHAT ME MISS? I did this for weeks and even now, it says I'm connected, the signal strength is very good, often great, but Explorer cannot display this webpage. Can someone tell me what to do? Thank you!  Allie

Your old Toshiba equipped with an adapter wireless which is likely to be used for Wireless-a, b, wireless and wireless-g (the project).   Your employer has a newer version (not the last and larger, but much more recent than your equipment) router Linksys that is capable of wireless-b, wireless-g and wireless - n.

Your most likely problem is that your employer has set up his router to "N-only.  Wireless n uses the same radio frequency as wireless-g (this is why detect you the "excellent" signal strength), but uses a different protocol (this is why you can't connect).

Politely ask your employer to change the mode 'network' from the back of the default router of "mixed".

The router manual is here: http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/support/routers/WRT160N see p. 13 ' Basic Wireless Settings.

Looking for a certificate message was probably bound to have the box 802.11 x checked.  This box should NOT be checked for home wireless networks.

  • C850 satellite will not connect at 5 GHz WiFi

My Satellite C850 found network 2.4 GHz Wireless and connected flawlessly. However, it is not 'see' the 5 GHz network, even if the router is in the same room and about 2 meters from the hotel. I have a problem, or in this laptop's wireless adapter will not connect to this speed? Any help appreciated, please

    Hello

I think that the reason why your portable computer does not see the 5 GHz Wlan is simply.
The wireless network card does not seem to bear the 5 GHz.
The WLAN standard 802. 11A supports 5 GHz

If the wireless network adapter supports 802.11 B / G and N or 802.11 G and N, then only 2.4 Ghz are supported.

  • HP 7520: HP 7520 will not connect to the wireless network

There is some additional information to

    http://forums.Xfinity.com/T5/home-networking-router-WiFi/HP-7520-will-not-connect-to-wireless-networ...

    on this issue.

Have several APs for a single wireless network allows the printer foolish law.  (Not a Repeater, a second AP connected to the local network with the same configuration of network for security, etc.).

I solved this problem.  In accordance with the discussion on the link, the problem is that the printer cannot connect to a wireless network if there is greater than 1 for a wireless network (SSID) name wireless access point.

This thread has had several useful suggestions, but what finally solved the problem, it's the second point has access to a mode where I can create a 'virtual' access point and, above all, a SSID associated.

Note that not all access points or routers support virtual APs, but this function seems to be more common over time.  Older models is not able to do that.  However, a new access point is sometimes cheaper than a new printer.

If you do not understand the jargon in the procedure below, I recommend that you find someone who does, then they can do it for you.

    Solution:

    1. On one of the wireless access on the network, create an a new virtual AP with a slightly different name SSID (for example < name of the network - > _1), on the same VLAN (usually VLAN 1).  You may need to put the AP in "multiple AP mode" or something similar, and then restart the AP.  All other settings (DHCP, security, mixed mode b/g/n, etc.) must be the same for the new SSID.
    2. Run the printer Wireless Setup and connect it to this new SSID
    3. Confirm that the printer can be seen by other devices on the network

    Tips:

    • Check the security is the same as the original SSID, Alternatively you can create a vector of insecurity in your network.  Do not WEP-128 when the other SSID uses WPA2 AES, for example.
    • The AP I had had several resets to make it work because of the mode and parameter changes.
    • If you connect the SSID but cannot connect to or be seen by anything on your network, check the new SSID/AP is in the same VLAN as the original.
    • Because the printer is not roaming, and the speed is not a problem for me, I used the access point that could support this solution, which is deeper and slower than my primary AP.  I have not noticed any problems.

The printer has been reliable on the wireless now on the new SSID, 48 hours.

I have not upgraded any software on a client of the printer (PC, Mac, phones).

I think that it is a positive confirmation that the problem is with the implementation of the printer of the stack of network and not with the driver or client software on remote devices.  The 802.11 protocols provide for a network name (SSID) wireless with several access points using different MAC addresses.  I suggest this HP look into this as a potential bug with their network printer for the 7520 protocols stack.
