Is it possible to print on a printer ghost without cluttering the queue?

I need to send a document to a "fake" printer that takes the order and it eliminates without save a mistake or put it back in the queue to the queue.

For the reasons of failure in this post, my goal is to send a file to a virtual printer in which another action is asked directly after the process ends. For a substantial savings of time and paper, I won't print 8,000 times for unnecessary reasons.

Any Suggestions?

Thank you

Hi Greg,.

I see from the description of the problem, you want to automate the printing process using commands.

If this is correct, I suggest you post this question in the Forums of TechNet Windows 7 IT Pro: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/category/w7itpro/

Thank you.

    Hello

    Try the following.

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the document has been deleted.

  • OfficeJet 4500 510n - print jobs stuck in the queue when using wireless

    Hello

I bought just a new Officejet 4500 510n yesterday and I have a Dell with Windows 7 64 bit laptop that I connect to the USB or wireless. The reason for this is that sometimes, the laptop is not right next to the printer and we need to print things (for example, my wife works upstairs sometimes with the laptop and the printer is downstairs in the living room). I was able to get the configuration of the printer on both the wireless and USB without any major problems and it prints fine when I print via USB. However, when I print wireless, the print job appears in the queue and shows that it is printing, but he never curls work all the way. The work gets "stuck" while waiting in line, for example, it gets stuck at 772 bytes of 940 bytes

I downloaded the HP Print Diagnostic here tool and ran it and and it passed all the tests first time. However, when I goto the last test, which is to print the test page, it sends the print job to the queue and then everything gets stuck as indicated above. I was able to cancel the job and it comes off very well, but restarting the work does not work, it just get stuck again. Meanwhile, I don't get ANY error messages at all.

Here's what I've done regarding troubleshooting:

    -Ping the printer - spent

-Restart the service print spooler - no change to the problem

-Check that the printer is set as deafult - spent

-Update of HP Ran to ensure there is no missing updates - found 2 updates and install them

None of the above has solved the problem, so I'mm this ad here in the hope that someone may have had this problem before and fixed it.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for the reply.

It turns out that I could solve it myself. I went to add the printer wireless on another laptop, I have here on my home network and it printed a page of test very well, so I thought it must have been a bad installation on the main laptop.  I removed everything and reinstalled as a wireless printer, and it worked perfectly. Amazing what can make a bad installation.

  • HP 8500 of print jobs stuck in the queue, diagnostic control OK

HP 8500 A909g connected by USB cable to the Windows 7 desktop. Everything was going well until Verizon gave me a new DSL modem/router after which all print jobs are stuck in the print queue. Printing/scanning doctor told me "printer not connected to the homegroup. Nothing I've tried fixed. Downloaded the recent HP patch for network HP printers in Win7. Complete with a mistake any but installed at the next computer startup and scanning and printing has worked very well. Since then, the print jobs again get hit in the print queue and scanner does not work. Has made clear the queue, stop/start the spooler and the computer restarted. Still no printing or scanning. Print/ASNA doctor says everything is OK. Upgrades of the pilot research suggests that I already have the best driver. Printer is checked OK in the control/material Panel, is checked by default, port is OK etc etc. Before uninstall/reinstall the printer with no guarantee that will solve this problem, can someone tell me what could be wrong and how to fix it? Please help as this is really frustrating. Thanks in advance.

  • Laser Jet Pro 200 M251nw color: print job stuck in the queue

I have problems with my color Laser Jet Pro 200 M251nw. I can print a MS word document and the printer works fine. When I try to print a second document MS word, that work remains stuck in the tail (spooling). I can't remove it from the queue. If I restart the computer, it went from the queue. If I print another document the process starts again. I know the procedure to remove a document from the queue but what I need to know is how to prevent them from getting stuck.

    Hello

Please try the solutions in this doc.

  • The laser color HP LaserJet CP1025nw printer cannot print - points held in the queue

I am running Windows 7 64 bit and my laser color HP LaserJet CP1025nw printer fails to print jobs in the queue. I turned off the printer accidentally as he was preparing to print a document, and since then I am unable to get the printer to work. I used the HP print and Scan doctor and he said that he had detected and solved a problem with the queue in vain the printer print a test page. What other options do I have? Thank you.

Rrolley, looks like you have a problem with the print queue of the printer. To start, just to tell you (that you probably think) it is not good to switch off while he's getting a print request. To resolve this problem, I recommend that you turn off the printer and the computer completely and cut the power for about thirty seconds. Then power the two machines back on, and when they started well then try the print job.

Let me know how it goes and I'll get right back with you!
  • HP2710 print jobs stuck in the queue even if test page prints

I have a HP Photosmart 2710 all-in-one printer attached via the USB port of a laptop ASUS G73Jw running under Windows 7 64-bit. The printer worked fine with a Toshiba laptop running Windows XP 32-bit only. But now cling all the documents in the queue if thay are Word, pdf or Notepad. I tried everything I could find on the HP forums. I downloaded the last software update. I ran the diagnostics HPPDU utility. After that I ran this utility test page prints fine, but nothing else gets stuck in the queue. I obeyed different instructions to disconnect and reconnect the printer, do a reboot etc after running the diagnostic utility. I tried other 'solutions' various users have suggested, including disabling bidirectional printing, restarting the spooler service and directly without the print spooler. Nothing works.

Given that I can print a test page I doubt that it is a mechanical problem. I suspect some sort of driver incompatibility. Because I downloaded the driver more once in frustration I think there could be pieces of drivers still present, although I can't view them with the uninstall command or the Device Manager. In fact, I can't find any file with any HP device software. Maybe it's because the driver is downloaded directly from Windows 7 when you do a Plug-and-Play.

There are a large number of driver files under everything in the printer properties. But I don't know which driver files should be there.

I'm about to trash this printer unless someone has an idea what to do.

    Help!

It could cause a conflict if the printer is stuck which occupies the port because it could block all communication with anything that is not this printer.  It may be something wrong with the way that ASUS manages virtual USB drivers, but I have not heard anything.  You might try to give them a call if you're really curious, just to see if they know anything.

  • OfficejetPro 6830: Officejet 6830: print jobs print but remain in the queue, must be deleted manually

I just installed a new 6830 of Officejet Pro on my home network - WIFI access.  I installed the driver on each of the two PC of Windows 7 x 64 using Setup.exe of the CD.  All work computers print is printed, but stays to work in the queue so the next task will not display until I manually remove the work with printers and devices-> 6830-> see whats printing.   The symptoms are the same on computer A and B.  I used the HP print and Scan doctor on computer.  He said he has made changes and I restarted.  There is no change in behavior.  I also deleted the driver on computer A and re-installed the software using the installation CD Setup.exe and rebooted.  No change.
    .
I've seen some similar complaints but many responses suggest cleaning registry system, Services, etc.  Given that the behavior is the same on each computer, I don't think it's a software system.  Each computer has a different story.
    .

    Any help would be appreciated.

Solved by poster: I used the doctor on the other computer (B).  Yet once, I learned that the changes had been made and I rebooted.  Now when I print, the jobs leave the queue on both computers.  This seems a strange liitle that change from one of two computers that access the printer through WIFI would affect printing from the other computer.  But I am happy - I was about to send the printer back because I had just bought it.

    .

Summary: I followed the instructions for the 'doctor' in http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02205477.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: Officejet Pro 8610 do not print - print jobs disappear from the queue immediately

This printer can scan to my computer, but it cannot print from it.  Tried all iems listed except the MS accounts of messages.

No go to the test print.

Internal testing of printing. This is the second printer within 2 days, the first printer does not have the box with paper paper jam problem.  I don't feel the experience of HP.  The printer I replaced is a HP due a print head has failed. It worked wireless on this computer without problem. I tried to avoid calling HP on this one.

I would like to know where this impression reels go?

    There is something missing here:

I wanted to close what has been done for this solution.  4 hours on the phone with HP. Not enough that the first person that I arrived was a High Touch and confident in this setting.  He gave up and gave me an assignment to run a file system check (SFC) Scan and repair the system files which takes a long time and I was advised to recall with my file number.

When I called back in the rep has examined the case and could not understand the next steps to do. He spoke to his superior, and they said to remind once again and get to someone else who may be able to help. The third call was a call center in the Philippines that I reach a brave woman who was determined not to leave until this has been resolved. Here's what we did:

1A first changed the router on the 2.4 band channel and reset the connection to the router wireless.

2 deleted the HP of the computer software. Then restarted computer and reinstalled the software through HP detection methods.

Everything is good now. This printer now prints from my desktop without problem. There is no manual workaround solution not done either.

  • Deleted print job stuck in the queue.

Print job deleted is sitting in the queue as "suppression" and prevents me from printing anything MS Office or the internet.  I can print from the HP application to test the printing without problem so I know my wireless setup works correctly.  Just need to know how to get this file out of the print queue. Running on Windows 8.  Wireless.  It is interesting the problem document actually did print from a reliable web site but remained in the print queue.  Have restarted the modem, computer rebooted, turned printer market.  What else can I try?

    Thank you.

    Hello

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.

    Kind regards
